Yacht Canvas created a full enclosure for our Lagoon 46 Catamaran. We've had it for a year now and have been thoroughly enjoying the excellent quality of the design, materials and workmanship. We came to them with a vision of what we wanted and they were able create an enclosure for our flybridge and cockpit that keeps us protected from the elements and is also very aesthetically pleasing. We've been through a full season on the Chesapeake and a Winter in South Florida with no issues or concerns. When we returned to the Chesapeake in the Spring, they were able to add a few extra snaps and straps to areas that we found could make it easier to handle lines and winches. Not a problem. They always have a can do attitude and a creativity that we found lacking in Canvas shops that we had approached before them. We highly recommend Yacht Canvas. read more

Had small old canvas that needed repair, did a good job of it at a reasonable price. Got a quote for a new Bimini and Dodge that seemed to be high. However, the quality of the workmanship appears to be great and of course I was comparing it to prices from 15 years ago, so that's my bad. read more

I stopped by Yacht Canvas on Monday afternoon to see if they could fix a pesky broken life jacket bag zipper. The staff were super attentive & helpful, and took my item right away. To my surprise, they called me an hour later to say it was ready for pickup whenever I was ready. When I went to pick it up the next day, not only was it good as new, but they said it was such a quick fix, it was on the house. This was fantastic news, especially given that nothing about prepping for an Offshore race is on the house :) Thank you Yacht Canvas, you guys are the best! read more

A fantastic job from beginning to end. From creating a new template (the old one was 2 inches short and the dodger terminated right at my eye level) to welding and installing 3 new grab rails and rigid supports for the dodger, Yacht Canvas did an exceptional job. They completed a dodger, bimini, connector, makrolon windows and a new sail cover and it fits like a glove. I love the Cali style windows that completely zip out for airflow in the summer, and the storage bag and covers add make everything easy. My five year old asked me to write that she loves the new side grab rails as she walks forward without falling now. Outstanding and thank you! read more

DO NOT CONSIDER using this company. I contracted with them on September 8th 2020 for a new canvas and roof extension on my Sessa Marine C52 Express cruiser. My contract stated and absolute deadline of November 18th. I was planning to leave the first week of November for Florida. They agreed that it should be completed by then verbally. It is now December 3rd 2020 and I am no closer to getting the much needed canvas. This company has made numerous errors and the quality of the work is very poor. On 3 separate occasions I drove for over two hours to meet them at the boat for fittings and consultation on the design, they either didn't show up or when they did show up had to depart and not get anything done due to mistakes on the measuring etc. They have reworked the canvas so many times and now it is full of needle holes and looks like a patch job. I was supposed to meet them once again at the boat for final fitting on Wednesday December 2nd 2020, once again they cancelled last minute and now refuse to give me a concrete date for completion. They even had the nerve to tell me that they would keep my 50% deposit of $2080.00 till the spring when I return from Florida and that they don't give refund when they fail to deliver on time. The woman who now owns this company knows nothing about yacht canvas, she has no regard for customers time and lacks any customer service skills. I was assured that they would complete my job on time, even sent me a nasty email telling me that it would be completed by November 18th. I am now delayed on my departure for one month and will have a very chilly trip to Florida when I do leave. Yacht Canvas Inc. is the same company as CMC Canvas LLC. New owners! I've been using this company for almost 2 decades and when I went in today there were new owners. She was very nice and professional with my small project that she could have turned her nose up to since my canvas is so old but she cheerfully said that they could repair it. A short time later (super fast- within 30 mins!) she called and I picked it up. I got such a good feeling from them that if we don't sell our Whaler, I'm going to give a call about redoing our seat cushions for next season. Glad to have met your Andrea! read more

This is my first-ever Yelp review because these folks EARNED IT! In late March when Governor Hogan directed all nonessential businesses to close by day's end, I stopped by Yacht Canvas in early afternoon on the slim chance that my project might be ready ahead of schedule. Not surprisingly, it wasn't; and they were clearly scrambling to complete other work. But then the amazing Amanda Warren said that if I could return at 5 pm, my canvas would be ready!! This wasn't a large job, but it wasn't small either, nor easy -- precision cutting replacement polycarbonate windshields and sewing them into the existing canvas. Their team's workmanship was flawless, and I'm still not sure how they squeezed me in on that frantic afternoon, without even being asked! I'll never take a canvas job anywhere else. Wish we had read Peggy G's review before hiring this company for our canvas project. Thought we we getting the original Yacht Canvas, but the new owners didn't tell us that they were extremely inexperienced. Ordered at the Annapolis Sailboat Show Oct. 2017 and received 'completed' project Sept. 2018!!! Almost a YEAR to make a bimini, dodger, connector piece, cushions, sail cover, winch covers, and wheel cover!! The mistakes on the important pieces (bimni, dodger, connector) are glaring and something we will have to live with, even after their 'redos' and additional 'fittings'. Overpromised and under delivered. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere!! read more

"Over promised and under delivered" - Our project involved creating cushions for a setee and upholstery of two small chairs on a trawler. We began discussions about our project in August with a firm end of October deadline. Not only did they not meet the deadline (which cost us time and money), they lacked the expertise and attention to detail needed to deliver a quality job. The seat cushions had to be redone and the back cushions were significantly over sized due to inaccurate measurements they took. (They have offered to fix the back cushions, however, we do not have any confidence that they will be able to make them right!) On top of all of this... and probably most upsetting... there was barely an apology for all this aggravation. We are sorry we wasted our time with this company. read more

I contracted with Yacht Canvas Inc in July 2017 for canvas and carpet, at the time of contract they took a $1700 deposit and quoted a delivery date in September. As time went on, they missed every promise date, so finally in November, I asked for my deposit back but they refused saying the canvas would be done immediately. This pattern continued all winter and spring 2018 until finally I demanded "canvas or refund" in April. At that time, they promised a refund, but instead, they put an unfinished top and isinglass on the boat, and refunded $119. I have not had anyone out to look at finishing the work, but I suspect it will have to be remade from scratch. I have 4 boats and have bought a lot of canvas in my life, but this is the worst experience I have ever had - I have never seen any company in this business that is so incompetent. Do not use this company, and if you choose to, do not give them a deposit up front. read more
