He takes just as good of care with his boat as he does with his clients, and is super accommodating. *The boat was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Had a microwave and stove! Lots of space on the table and seating around it. *Location of the boat was VERY CONVENIENT!! Had a parking lot with lots of space and the marina also had ice (great when you have a cooler/in need of ice for drinks). TIP: Captain Steve was really kind in offering to help us with our cooler, and offered to bring a cart/wagon to put the cooler on to make it easier to bring on the walk to where the boat is docked. *Captain Steve: Not only was he informative about the areas, but he was also a pleasure to have a conversation with. My friends and I had a fantastic experience and enjoyed our time sailing and relaxing , and will definitely sail with captain Steve again this summer!

This was our first time to New York and we did a sunset cruise and we were blown away!! The Captain and crew were outstanding and so accommodating and pointed out many landmarks around the harbor.. We got up close to the Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge and saw Manhattan lights by night. The weather was perfect and this cruise was the best highlight of our whole trip to New York!! Just want to say thank you again to Captain Scott and the Crew as you two were awesome!! I must say fishing with Ernest Fernandez fishing buddies of America was one of the best experiences…read moreI could have ever had. We caught fish after fish after fish. He made certain that we were fed always providing a box of Popeye chicken with biscuits giving us a bottle of water and soda and walking around the boat asking is everyone okay. Fishing buddies of America has seen a lot of members come and a lot of members go. I was very happy to be a part of a fishing trip that took place in North Carolina on a 24-hour fishing vessel where we caught lots of Vermilion snappers the size limit and the limit for two days as well as Grunt and triggerfish. It was my first experience and a great one. It's sad to say though in 2018 Mr Ernest Fernandez passed away. He does have friends of fishing buddies of America who are running their own charters as a matter of fact there is a trip on June 9th the boat is almost full will be a dedication to miss the earnest Fernandez will we will dedicate to the sea memories of mr. Fernandez. I think that is a great way to pay homage to him. We will also fish on this day in memory of mr. Fernandez for one of his favorite fish porgies. Come with an open mind…read more.. I arrived early in the morning to check out the Boatel. First of all, I've never been in this part of Qns before! But, it was gorgeous. The guys at the gas station told us that if we hung out by the gates, someone would open up for us to drive in... a little odd, but it worked. No one asked us any questions.. we just sauntered in, wandered around, got invited onto a house barge (AMAZING, I want to live on one!), and overall get very jealous at the itinerant lifestyle. The boatel wasn't anything to write home about, but I really enjoyed the experience of wandering around, sitting on the docks, and just enjoying the view, sun, quiet, and the company.

I HAD to go back to this because it's such an amazing experience. I'm sure they do more than "Fall…read moreFoliage" trips but that's when I visited in the past. Despite my best efforts in the past to do Fall train rides, which turned out to be disappointing only because there was never any good colors on trees, this by far is the very best fall foliage experience I've ever had in my life. You get great views of the tree color transitions and just great photo opportunities. It does get cold on the water so bring a jacket. Experience is as excellent as last time with beverages and snacks for purchase. If you enjoy fall colors, great scenery and boats then you have to do this at least once.

He was waiting for me when I arrived, took me to all 16, staying at each one long enough for me to get some amazing shots while engaging in lively and knowledgeable conversation. My daughter and I were comfortable and felt safe even when the weather changed. It was a truly enjoyable trip. Steve even provided sandwiches. I would definitely recommend Monty's Arc Adventures to anyone venturing out onto Long Island Sound.

Unfortunately this was a bummer experience…read more I booked the full moon tour as I have been extremely looking forward to doing one of their tours. I prepared a special cocktail to share with my boat mates and headed over to the port on my bike happy to enjoy an evening on the water. Usually when booking a boat tour they have boarding time and departure. The tour reservation was 7:30 for a full moon tour, as this is before sunset I assumed this was boarding. I attempted to call to confirm but did not get a response. I left to arrive at 7:15 just in case, however on my way to the dock my tire popped and I had to double back and get a taxi. I called them immediately but no answer, I called again while in the taxi and reached the person taking the boat out. I was 3 minutes away and he said if I arrived in 5 I would make it (this was 7:37) I arrived at 7:40 and attempted to enter but the gates were locked and there was no instructions for entry, I finally got in but they had left seconds earlier. I then got stuck inside the dock for 40 minutes until someone else came because the only way to enter and exit was a clicker I did not have. Overall, the communication was poor and my evening was completely ruined. To add insult to injury I got completely eaten up by misquotes while waiting to leave the dock area. I did not want to leave a bad review but texted all of this and never heard anything back. Feedback to the company: Please add clearer information about the boarding and departure times and please be more clear about how to enter the dock. Thank you. Sad this was the outcome.
