This little neiborhood park looks out to the Bay and Throgs Neck bridge, nesting alongside Cross Island Parkway.  The boundaries are Cross Island Parkway, Utopia Parkway, and the beachfront. For western bound, take exit 32 toward Bell Blvd. At the traffic light, turn right. This parcel was acquired in Septmber 1950. The plan was to develope the shoreline area. However, it didn't carry out due to the Throgs Neck Bridge construction and the fiscal crisis of the 1970s. And Parks renamed the property's present name in 1973, from Clearview Park. Bayside, originally inhabited by the Matinecock tribe, was granted to William Lawrence by King Charles I in 1644, spurring European settlement. It became part of Queens County in 1683. Most early records were lost in an 1780s fire linked to arson. During the Revolutionary War, Bayside supported the British and faced two failed Patriot raids. The arrival of the North Shore Railroad in 1866 brought rapid growth, attracting wealthy New Yorkers and actors. After the film industry moved to California in the 1920s, Bayside's economy relied on the Little Neck shellfish beds. read more

The secret is out about this oasis, jewel, sanity site. Located next to Fort Totten, Little Bay Park was life saving for many during COVID, and still is now. The Parks Department have manicured much of the bushes that hid the beautiful water alongside the 1 mile walk. The East River/Long Island Sound meet here. You see people from all over the world here from singles, couples, families, and friends enjoying the park. There are picnics, parties- I saw a curated marriage engagement being planned here. This park welcomes everyone from everywhere enjoying nature and it's a great vibe. There are bathrooms open at the entrance and porta potties under the Throgs Neck Bridge. Bicyclists and pedestrians will LOVE it here. read more

I love this park! There are large grassy areas for any kind of outdoor activity and the walking path is busy with casual walkers, roller bladers, skaters and bikers. There is refreshing exposure to the Atlantic Ocean and a full view of the Throgs Neck Bridge. There is even an ice cream truck at the entrance of the walking path. Earlier this year while driving by the Throgs Neck Bridge I told myself I need to have a picnic in this beautiful park near the water and bridge. It's like a spoke into in existence because I have was invited to a birthday picnic to the lovely park. It's right off the Cross Island Parkway, it's so massive and breathtaking especially with the views of the water and bridge. It was a beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon perfect for a picnic in the park. This is a great little park right off of the water. I'm not sure how to get here driving as I walked from the Greeway which connects this park and runs all along the water. The Parking Lot is decent sized but I was there in the afternoon, on the weekend and it was a great day and the lot was packed. Lots of folks enjoying the weather, biking, walking, picnicking, sunning etc. Decent amount of green space here as well. There were also alot of folks fishing as well as the water is right there. There are also bathrooms here which look brand new and were pretty clean even for a busy day. read more

This park is amazing for taking a stroll with your pet, jogging, romantic date, picnic with family, kayak, bicycling, roller skating, and much more. One thing I must say parking is limited as I have seen on busy days you may have to drive around few times for a spot. There is a nice jogging or walking pathway by the Cross Island Parkway that is paved with the beautiful view of the water and Throgs Neck Bridge. I really enjoy the rocks that protrude into the water to a certain distant for you to walk on. At times when I feel stressed out or just need to relax this is my go-to-place in order to unwind. There's no fee for parking at all so feel free to park. I have seen people bring their pets for a walk so ya sure bring your best friend for a stroll with you. There are few benches to sit on but I have seen people bring their own chairs to sit and just enjoy the view. My only complain is people that visit the park leave their trash around without being responsible toward their surroundings. Trash bins are available at the park therefore it is not hard to throw away your waste in those bins in order to continue keeping the park clean. I have been coming to this park since I was a teenager. It is beautiful and please continue to keep it clean. read more

Breathtaking views of the Throgs Neck Bridge! The walk along the path was comforting and relaxing under the sun. My favorite part was the rock walkway that leads to the water. Hopping from rock to rock was fun but I wished I had the right shoes on today. It was nice to sit along the way to feel the warm sun hit my skin for the first time and calm wind blowing my hair. Great spot for locals to walk or jog. Otherwise, it would be nice to stroll along the way with a date until sunset. read more

The newly opened renovated parking lot means a lot to the frequent strollers, walkers, joggers, bikers and rollerbladers of this park. The lot has been extended. It could accommodate more than it used to be. Nice view of the water and the bridge will make you find you peace while doing what you love during the visit. On my way to start my run in an early Saturday morning, I passed by some Korean senior citizens doing their daily Tai Chi session. I felt that I was welcome when I stopped and stay at the back.... so I decided to join them. They are probably one of the many groups who meet on a daily basis to do their healthy goal plan. I saw a sign for Wednesday Eve Zumba class as being sponsored by the city park. Their might be other sessions open for the public. The park has enclosed rink , big baseball and soccer fields , open fields, plenty of benches along the paved path , rocks to walk out ( till breakaway water ) ,water fountains and an easy access to the Bayside Marina next door neighbor. A picture perfect park also for picture lovers. It is my favorite place to enjoy the season. Will be forever a fan. read more

This park is fantastic I've been coming here for years but it seems as if the bicyclists are out-of-control and they also now have electric bikes and are much faster and much more dangerous than before so I really wish they come up with some solution to this problem they really should not be on the small side if you go over to the bigger side by the electric bikes they can go up To close to 30 or 40 miles an hour if they hit someone or somebody or a child or even a dog he could be a very big problem. I've noticed the bicyclists can be very aggressive. They could also have a lot more Porta potty's read more

It is my favorite park in New York city. If I blind folded you and took you here you would not believe it is in New York city. Two of Little Bay Park's boundaries are important thoroughfares in the borough of Queens: Cross Island Parkway and Utopia Parkway. The third boundary is beachfront. It was previously known as the Clear view park. It has an official dog park added by the NYC government. It is right under the Throggs Neck bridge. You see joggers, walkers, bikers baby carriages and a dog park. It also has sitting areas along the shore lines. If you look it up at NYCgov.parks they list it as being in Bayside but it also is in a part of Beechurst. It is a really safe park and the most beautiful one I have seen anywhere in New York city. read more

A lovely park. Right off of the Bell Blvd. exit of Cross Island North, right before the Throggs Neck Bridge exit. Park has a long spacious path for biking, walking or jogging. Some benches there as well. Very dog friendly. Some open fields and some soccer goals set up there. Breath taking view of the Throggs Neck Bridge. Free as well. Nice place to relax and unwind. More benches would be good as well as a some food/ice cream options. I could see an ice cream trucks making a mint off all of the kids there on a hot summer day. read more

The infamous rocks! If you are from Nassau County or Queens everyone knows about the infamous rocks. It gives you an amazing view of the throggs neck bridge, fort totten and the sunset. The problem with this park is that a lot of people are littering the rocks with beer bottles and food wrappers. NYC needs to clean up the rocks better. It is a shame how littered and graffitied the rocks are! However, that view is incredible and the water is so nice. Also be careful on summer nights, they are shady people who do some shady stuff. Be aware. Nice place to clear your head and walk around. read more

Great park located between the inactive army base Fort Totten and the Throgz Neck bridge that connects the Bronx and Queens. This park is has a lot of seating, a small dog park, porter potties, a nice paved path for walking, jogging, biking, rollerblading, and a huge open field. If you like to take pictures this is the park for you. Half of the park is under the bridge so it's on the water. The scenery is really beautiful especially during the seasonal changes. This park would be the perfect place for a picnic because it's so open. I see a lot of people with blankets out on the grass just hanging out, tanning, reading, whatever. From one side of the park you can exit into the neighborhood called Beechhurst, and on the other side you exit onto Bayside Marina 4 mile trail that runs parallel to the Cross Island. If you haven't been here yet take the trip! Come enjoy the park, the trails, or the rocks that jolt out into the water... those are my favorite to climb! read more

I usually go to this pak to run with my dog. There is a nice dog park here. They have a soccer field and baseball fields too. The grass is nicely trimmed and the dog owners are so nice and friendly. Its not too crowded. They also have a mr softee there most of the time, the only reason to get to the park. Jk. They are renovating so the parking does get annoying some time. read more

Parts of Little Bay Park are under construction and they are building some restrooms around but overall it is coming along. Looks out onto the Throgs Neck Bridge, the Bays and the East River. There are some rocks you can walk out on and take some nice scenic pictures and sit. There were people flying drones and friends and families fishing. It was a very relaxing place to sit. On land, there was a path to bike, Rollerblade, run or take a stroll on. Great for all ages and anyone. There was a lot of parking and there were kids playing roller hockey. On the other side of the park there was a soccer field where kids were playing and kicking into the net. There was more parking at this end but it was on dirt. It wasn't as developed as the other side. Overall nice place to go for a walk and see the views. read more
