    Pretty!

Yacky Shack is fantastic. What a gem. We had the bulgogi tacos: served with warm tortillas, a bowl of seasoned steak strips, kimchi, cilantro and a little flavorful dumpling on the side....ahhhhhhhh. Delish. Assemble the tacos yourself, and add any of the awesome sauces: Yacky sauce, hot honey mustard or a sweet-spicy creamy aioli. Tasty and tender. The beef was fantastic and plentiful. The egg roll was crispy and light, and filled with flavor. The "Yackys" are dumplings of various fillings, chicken, beef and pork. Fried or steamed and with the various sauces, these were lovely, tasty and perfect. I highly recommend the pork, and fried if you want to indulge. Perfect. High praise also for their fried rice. Nice, tender chunks of chicken, and ordered "medium" spice was a perfect bite. Nothing was greasy despite being fried, and the ingredients were of excellent quality. Nice tea selection and self serve drinks and extra sauces (plus containers available for taking home leftovers). There were a lot of lunch patrons present, and the food was coming out quickly. The Chinese dishes looked really good as well, so that leaves me something to get back for. And preferably sooner than later. Service was excellent, friendly and helpful as well as prompt. The place appears brand new and impeccably clean. Simple but clean and bright. This place is a total win. Completely worth the short drive to Muscatine from the QC. I'll be back as this is a new local favorite.

Good food, both their Chinese and Korean options are good. I would suggest the kimchi fried rice if you stop in.

Fresh and hot. The Yacky's are well worth the visit. Suggest you poke around the menu for a bunch of visits. It's all great.

Clueless staff, unwelcoming decor, and overall cringeworthy atmosphere. Food tasted pretty gross and it felt microwaved. Very unsatisfactory

The restaurant was scheduled to close at 9 pm; the rest of the neighborhood was already quite sleepy. All of the food that both my husband and I ate was quite tasty, including Asian buffet favorites such as Pepper Chicken; Mongolian beef; crab Rangoon; California sushi; and far more. They also offered some unique and tasty items, such as fried zucchini slices. They also had tubs of creamy and yummy ice cream for dessert. We rate the quality of the food that we ate as 4.5/5.0. However, by 7 pm, the restaurant was already winding down and many of the food trays were already near empty and weren't being replenished so there were many food offerings that we didn't get the chance to try. Our rating for variety is thus only 2/5. Service was okay (3/5). The waitress brought us our requested waters, and checked in once to see if everything was okay. The overall ambiance was of a typical Chinese buffet restaurant, and was maintained well. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. However, staff started to wind down the day at 8 pm, including mopping the floors of the main buffet area, the check-out counter, and restrooms while we were still eating and needing to walk in those areas! It was an hour to closing time! Finally, the restaurant was a good value for all-you-can-eat for $12.99/person at dinner, before tax and tip. We would return but probably earlier in the day to have full access to the variety of food choices and to ensure that we didn't interfere with the cleaning at closing.

It located across from the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds on W. Lotus Street. They have a mixed menu of American and Thai dishes they offer. The Gypsy Highway's vibe is a cross between nostalgic late 70's, early 80's biker bar, live indoor/outdoor music venue, while being a full service restaurant and bar. They also have a small arcade in the back a few what look to be video poker or slot machines by the bar, 3 very large LED displays strategically placed around the bar and a massive projection screen TV on the indoor stage when nobody's playing. Sorry I didn't get to look outside at the wood fenced in area, where the wooden outdoor stage is. There is lots of seating and they even have dance nights, local bands perform regularly, and other events. Like when I went there was Trivia Night. This place has been a long time local scene in the West End of Davenport, IA for decades. Couple of the downsides about the atmosphere is the noise. It's Loud. For off hours and a Trivia Night, but not loud enough that you can't hear the person talking across a large round table ment for a party of 8-10 people. The amount of flashing lights in the place. If you have any issues with flashing lights you might not want to visit. There is not a single sight line place inside that does have some sort of constantly flashing light. Even lights that would have been of at any other venue or palace that host bands at their establishments wouldn't run strong stage color ambient lights on, especially those sitting behind a massive screen. Anyone sitting in the back and looking towards the stage (even though those seats not that many but unlucky) are in for a painful night out, if not there for a band. The food is 50/50 depending on what you get. Presentation wise I would give it 80 to 100%. I was with my family and got to try 4/5 dishes. They I had the Yellow Curry w/ Shrimp. I have to say it was really good. It was sweet and savory the Jasmine rice was delicious with it. My only complaint with the dish was it should have been served in served in a bowl of some kind and w/ some Naan bread to help clean the bowl at the end. Serving on a plate made the dish hard to eat. Next up Chicken Tinders and an order of Onion Rings. This should be avoided at all costs!! They look great, but have absolutely zero flavor and taste. That's hard to do when the batter is supposed to be Bear Batter. Same with the french fries. Next is a Cheese Burger w/ (+) Bacon and Onion Rings instead of the Fries. Well the burger was well made and delicious. The Bacon was thick crisp and 4 slices which was good. The replaced Onion Rings well that part gets worse. The count was a measly 5 and not even large ones at that! Last one I got to try was the blackens grilled fish. It was a fillet of haddock covered with some sort of white gravy served with a few pieces of zucchini and a couple of red potatoes halved. I didn't get to try the veg. The fish I did. By itself it was pretty good, but with the gravy it was not noticeably, not as good to almost being tasteless. The gravy overwhelms the fish and doesn't complement, nor enhance the flavor. The waitress we had was nice and answered our questions promptly. She did check in with us from time to time. Overall she gets a 9/10. Hope y'all like my review and read next time. Sorry no pics this time forgot my phone.
