    a pizza in a box

Very good authentic NJ/NY thin crust pizza. They sell by the slice or whole pies and even have delivery. Sometimes they're out of slices which I wish they'd keep some out always even if they have an overage at the end of the night. The recent guys working haven't been that friendly. Been going here for over 10 years. Solid pizza for sure.

Yaghis New York Pizzeria off Cypress was great. My order was ready when promised and no issues. Friendly staff and delicious pizza. What more can you ask for?

There is actually sauce on this garlic nut. They are a little larger than a dime, but smaller than a quarter. Not worth th 3.75

We tried this place for the first time and was not impressed. It kinda had a New York style feel, but that was it. Ordered the garlic nuts and was really disappointed, and the sauce that came with it was more like red water. Agree with a previous comment, don't think the quality was there Overpriced. A medium cheese was 15 and it was 2.75/topping.

A craving for a meatball parm sandwich strikes again. Wanting to try someplace new, and found Yaghi's serves one. I have been here before for pizza and it wasn't bad. This small store hardly ever has any customers in it when I come here. They must do a lot of pizza pick up orders. The counter guy was making boxes but stopped promptly when I came in. He was friendly and helpful. I ask for a meatball parm and he tells me about the daily special. For the same price I get a drink, but I didn't want a drink. He insisted and told me to take a bottled water. Okay, so I got free water. Found a stool by the window to begin my wait while they made my sandwich. It was only about 15 minutes when I received my hot sandwich. It was still hot when I got home. This was a dam good sandwich for $4.75. It was big enough to have two meals. The meatballs were meaty, the bread toasted just right, and the perfect amount of melted cheese. Don't know why I don't come here more often.

    Bacon???

Was very excited to try a new pizza place my neighbors told us about. Ordered 2 pizzas and a side salad on a Friday night. Took a little over an hour to get here, but is to be expected for a Friday. Pizzas arrived warm. Positives: crust was delicious. Negatives: mystery meat??? After receiving our pizza containing what I can only assume was some form of turkey bacon, I called the store to inquire as to what I had ingested. Below is a transcription of that conversation. Me: hello, I just ordered a pizza and am wondering what type of meat I just ate? Store: well, what type of pizza did you order? Me: Bacon and jalapeño. Store: are they little rectangles? Me: yes, with a light stripe on one side and dark on the other. It's definitely not bacon Store: well, that's "our bacon." Is there anything else I can help you with? Me: Fair enough, have a good day. Would not recommend due to inability to identify meats. Have a glorious day! Hope you all have a better experience.

    Delicious pizza

This a great spot for a pizza lunch in Cedar Park. Great service and conveniently located. Great variety of pizzas to choose from.

    Margarita pizza. Like warm

Living in cedar park almost 5 years - it was time for me to try Yaghis. I drive passed it frequently and tell myself " oh look - New York style pizza " This time I figured I would give delivery drivers a break and pick it up myself. I mean- I drive right by it. Put in the future order :large pepperoni, medium margarita. Boom ready for pick up at 5:05 Arrived walked in to welcome staff. And he repeated my order - but said cheese not pepperoni. I made a comment it should be a pepperoni and he said ' yea 1 pepperoni and 1 margarita. So I said "ok" Got home it was cheese. No biggie. But the thing that frustrated me about this - was that he lied - Either way. We like cheese pizza. So No biggie right? Right. Pizza was less than hot , had to be cut , not my best night for pizza. The pie had a decent taste- but overall prob will keep using my other cedar park pizza spots. Hey- never hurts to try. Oh. And it was pricy. $40 after tax for one large and one medium pizza. Good luck. Thanks for eating with me today, and I'll see you on the next one.

I'm fine with the food and service but prices now an issue. Been using this place for years and suddenly delivery fees etc added on. Prices higher than on menu... menu even says free delivery

I ordered through their website, paid a delivery fee and tipped for the driver. Soon after ordering, I received a link from favor, tracking my delivery. After the favor link showed my driver "5mins away from picking up the food" for over 30 mins, I decided to call the restaurant in which I was told they used a third party and have no control over. (Well you chose to use favor) I went and picked up my Luke warm food and returned home within 20 mins. In this time, the favor link was still showing "driver is 5 mins away from picking up the food". About an hour after returning home and haven already eaten, I received an update from the favor text, it was a picture of my house from the curb, saying my food was delivered. No food was delivered, I had already picked it up. I actually have ring footage of this favor driver, stopping, rolling down the window and snapping the pic, never getting out. When I called the restaurant to complain about this, there was no care or concern. When I try to contact favor, I have no re course since I ordered through the pizza shop and not favor. I am hoping they don't charge me the 16 dollars in delivery charge and tip, but that's something else I may have to deal with in the coming days. As far as the food, regular pepperoni pizza was average at best, lemon pepper wings were soggy but had good flavor and butter chicken pizza had decent flavor but was cold. Only reason I didn't give one star was the flavor of the lemon pepper wings. Can't say I will ever be back. Would recommend not using the restaurants website to order.

Our server was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the place has a cool little vibe that feels relaxed but still energetic. We got there around 11:00, and by 11:15 or 11:20 the place was already lively and noisy, which honestly tells you people know where the good pizza is. I had the House salad with Caesar dressing, and it was fresh and loaded with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, mushrooms, black olives, mozzarella, and crunchy garlic croutons. For pizza, I ordered the City Pie, and those toppings were giving -- pepperoni, Italian sausage, spinach, mushrooms, onions, black olives, and bell peppers. I'm not usually a huge fan of super thin crust pizza, but this one worked because the toppings and flavor carried every bite. The girls ordered the Queen Margherita, and it looked just as good as it sounds with fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, Parmesan-Reggiano, and basil. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
