Since it was an early dinner, I immediately sat down. The store staff responded pleasantly. And we ordered Gozilla roll, Super Salmon roll, and Miyabi roll. Started off strong with the uni shot, which was really good, and the sashimi fresh, clean, and exactly what you want from a sushi spot. We also ordered the mushroom and pumpkin salad with spinach, which tasted great, but at $20, it felt a bit overpriced for what it was. The rolls, unfortunately, didn't live up to how they looked. Presentation was definitely there, but the flavor just didn't hit. On top of that, they were falling apart pretty easily when picked up with chopsticks, which made them a little frustrating to eat. Service was solid overall staff was attentive despite how busy it was but they did miss our hamachi kama, which was a bit of a letdown. A couple things to note: this place is cash only, and it gets very busy, so expect a bit of a wait. That said, the vibe is nice, and the design of the space is something I actually liked. Would I come back? Probably for sashimi and appetizers but I might skip the rolls next time.

I don't like spicy tuna that is poke style or large chunks. I appreciate the updated style for the spicy tuna crispy rice which is my favorite thing to get. Service is super friendly and attentive great for take out or lunch specials. So glad they updated some rolls and items and I hope the crispy rice stays forever don't change it, it's perfect! They also have baked rolls. Rolls can be a bit pricy but the quality is good. I had been driving 30 min out of Renton for good sushi so I'm glad I tried this place again. One baked roll I cannot find up here in WA is called Japanese Lasagna, which is a baked California roll with a cream cheese topping melted on top with eel sauce. They have a similar roll with salmon I think and it's pretty good I just prefer the cream cheese topping only without fish. Adding this request here and hoping they can offer it as a special.

The staff sat us down quickly and were attentive. Menu has a huge sushi selection, a lot of options for those that don't like raw fish as well My husband got the chicken katsu bento: comes with rice, salad, gyoza and I believe he asked for spicy California roll along with it. Great price and portion for this lunch deal! I ordered the salmon nigiri sampler which comes with 5 pieces of salmon a variety of different cuts and I requested hamachi nigiri as well. Quality was great! Overall: quality is great, portion was decent and it's a decent sushi spot great stop while you're doing your errands

I have had better elsewhere. It was very basic with deep fried soft tofu in tsuyu (soy sauce liked) sauce. The dragon roll was pretty tasty too. I would definitely return for a quite casual meal.

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

The restaurant is tucked away near the closed down Old Country Buffett in Kent East Hill. I really should've tried coming here instead of traveling to Renton for some sushi! But I will definitely return for more of their delicious sushi!!! I would definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

I had placed a pickup order through GrubHub, and was quoted 30 minutes. It's located inside the Great Wall shopping mall, so parking was relatively easy to find and I was able to stay dry while waiting since the little store was indoors. Upon my arrival, they did not have my order and I waited another 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The poor staff was running around and rushed. It's also a very, very tiny place, with a narrow 4 person counter behind the line, and only 2 tables inside. They had placed some tables outside as well for patrons. I love menus that allow me to order varied items but also basic items like sashimi, and this place had both. They make a lot of different hand rolls that are packaged individually, as well as what's called a sushi donut (sashimi layered over donut shaped rice ball. It was such a fun and different way to eat sashimi. The food was fresh and really satisfying. The prices are pretty good too.
