If I could give the business ZERO stars I would. I went in today with my 3 and 4 yr old girls to find a replacement LED light for a ceiling fan I purchased their 5-6 years ago as well as most of the lighting for our home we were building. They have a display of doorbells which is of course very irresistible for kids. After a couple times of pushing the button I stopped that. While waiting a guys from the back came out and was speaking with one of the sales ladies. He made the comment loud enough for me to hear, "at least they didn't keep ringing the doorbells". That same saleslady assisted me with locating the bulb I needed after making a call. Once she told me the price was almost $100 for the bulb, I said stated thanks but maybe I can find it cheaper online. Who isn't budget conscious these days???? I guess her, because she gave me the nastiest look and said ok, stuck her nose in the air and walked away. I told her that I was sorry for being such a bother, because it was obvious I was, she said only when you said you'd look online. This place will never see my business again and I plan on leaving a review every website I can. Oh BTW I only brought my little girls with me because my wife has been deployed overseas for the past 9 months and is not back yet. NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY !!! read more

The product quality and choices are second-to-none. However, the phone etiquette and personal-experience with some of the salespeople is poor at best. They are down-right rude! My wife and I were not contacted (they promised they would) regarding our Order. They claimed they were too busy to be bothered with notifying us about our short-ship Order. Additionally, I personally witnessed a young female being curt, rude and obnoxious to a customer on the phone--the customer hung up on her. It was as though she delighted in being very mean and condescending. Mind you, she acted out with customers at the sales counter. Speaking of the sales counter--the young 'ladies' did not ask us if we needed any help upon entering the store. Mind you, we had been very loyal customers. The sales staff experienced turnover and should receive another overhaul. Yale closed their Mechanicsburg, PA location and if they don't get their act together, will face lower business and negative outcomes for the Paxton Street location. My wife and I have purchased $3-4 thousand dollars of lighting in the past-twelve months. Yale will not see repeat business from us, starting today. Consumers vote with their pocketbook and can severely punish businesses by refusing to patronize them. Yale front-desk salespeople --you get our 'No Vote'. Huge Thanks to George and his team we have had years of experience with them and even thru covid they have went to bat to get quicker ship dates I don't understand any of the negative feedback they are very customer oriented they know who I am when I come in they took the time to acknowledge my two teenage kids that might be picking up parts they even reached out to some ppl to get us some part time help never was treated rude and never ignored they are more of a commercial supply house design in bulk orders but that normally makes for a customer # not knowing there customers names so I think they are doing an outstanding job read more

Extremely poor customer service! Will not purchase anything from here. Very rude staff, act like you are wasting their time. Showroom staff is not helpful at all. They did not even acknowledge we were there after spending at least 30 minutes in the store. Treat you as if you are a burden to them.
