Portal messages are left unanswered, OB…read moreoffice keeps asking for duplicative referral letters from insurance, and somebody named Mariko called to clarify FMLA documents that nobody seems to understand (they seem to keep confusing it with SDI and PTO) but she kept talking over me and did not allow me to speak. From a medical perspective, it's been ok so far. I switched from MemorialCare 2 weeks ago due to just moving to the area and understanding their system and navigating the administrative process has been a real learning curve. I haven't seen an MD yet as my two visits so far has been with NPs. I have my first visit with an OB MD in two weeks and the PCP OB in three weeks, and hope everything will be smooth going forward.

She listened, actually listened and she knew her stuff. She didn't try to push meds or rush us out of the office. She was friendly, professional and caring. Obviously this was just our first visit but we are happy to have found a place where we actually like our doctor! UPDATE We still like this place. At times it can be hetic with the front desk staff trying to help everyone but they are still friendly. I do have a small issue with some of the nursing staff. I understand that they are there to be the buffer for the doctor but sometimes when a patient needs to speak with the doctor they legitmatley NEED to speak with the doctor and not their nurse. At other times they are busy and when they respond to you it is a bit short and lacking compassion. Not rude just down to business with no finess, however once the doctor comes in she is all bedside manner and the experience gets turned back around.
