Friendly service Cute and intimate vibes. Lots of take out orders including my chow mein to go. Really enjoyed the tofu okra and Nan Gyi Toke. The gravy with lemon squeeze was great :) Solid place for vegetarians because you can substitute tofu for any other protein. Thank you :D

I spent my Christmas evening here and my server Eric was very welcoming. I ordered the Singapore noodle, crispy wing, and hot tea. The noodles were ready within 5 minutes or so. It was delicious! It has bbq pork, shrimp, eggs. It had a very complex profile with hints of curry. My server offered me hot sauce to go with it which turns out to be their red bean paste. It was delicious and elevated it even more!!! I highly recommend asking for it with any meal you may get here. Then I ended with crispy wings. It has a sweet and tangy glaze over. It was extremely crispy and delicious as well. They are large in size. I had excellent service. The ambiance is also very lovely, they have nice decor and pretty chandeliers. It was a great way to end my Christmas Day. Thank you for having me!

Takeout order - mostly was excited for the pumpkin curry which was good. The three star rating is because some dishes were great and others were lacking to all around it was a mid-level experience. Pumpkin Curry: 4 stars - dark meat chicken, good portion of protein, nice al al dente pumpkin/squash and overall good flavor. Eggplant Garlic: 5 stars - we got two...mild and medium spicy. Medium spicy is spicy, and mild was good (little kick). The eggplant was mushy but the sauce was a bit tart and a bit different than what we are accustomed to at other restaurants. This dish was very pleasant. Walnut Shrimp: 4 stars - I appreciate this dish was not overly breaded (possibly not at all) Sesame Orange Chicken: 1 star - mostly breading/flour, lacking flavor, tasted a bit like sweet deep fried funnel cake bites Tea Leaf Salad: 3 stars - we couldn't pin point it but something was different about the tea leaf dressing. Overall, this dish was just ok. Coconut Rice: 4 stars - not too sweet, light coconut flavor We forgot to ask if they use MSG but there's definitely a lot of gluten and afterwards I did have some of the MSG "symptoms" so just be weary and remember to ask.

The sesame beef was awful - more breading than meat. Very disappointed. The crab and cheese appetizer is just a rangoon, which tasted good. Inside was okay and clean - a bit dark but felt comfortable otherwise. Service was nice so +1 there. It's an okay spot overall. Maybe I was just unlucky?

Greetings to all, this would be my first time coming to Yangon, so let's see what happened: Parking is a - Not available in the area after a certain time frame and All the Handicapped spaces are Gone as well. This is a D for me. Inside the restaurant itself was a Cool calming experience, with ambiance. B for me. The service was great and the waitress Reminded All of our orders Verbatim. A for me The food we had : Crispy chicken- was good B for me. Salted pepper fish- was a bit too salty C for me. Sweat & Sour Crispy Chicken- was Not Crispy though it was sweet & sour, a C for me. The mango salad- this was an ok dish, a B for me. Coconut rice- this was a bit sticky for me. A C Mongolian Beef over crispy rice noodles- Not enough of sauce made this dish a bit Dry. A C for me. Garlic noodles- This dish was ok, but tad bit too much salt. The Mango Lassi drinks were good. A B for me. I have pics of most of our dishes, but the rest No. Overall, this restaurant gets a Solid 3 Stars from me with room to grow; meaning to say l will return to try other dishes in their menu.

Tofu was the most deliciously crispy! Was looking for a dinner place in downtown Burlingame and this place exceeded our expectations. Great vegetarian options. Service was very friendly and I don't think our water ever reached halfway full with the frequent refills!

My business partner and I were in town for just a few hours before catching flight out of SFO. We had so many choices to pick from and badly wanted Chinese, but close to the airport too. So we arrived at 8 and they closed at 9 on a weeknight. It's a quaint little restaurant with about 10-15 tables. There was only one other table occupied when we got there. So it was looking promising. Ehhh that's where I should have left. The one female staff member did not seem to happy that we were there. She was somewhat standoffish and not very friendly. Now I'm a little bit of a Chinese food snob. After a visit to Chinatown I'm very picky. I live in Fort Worth, Texas and there's only two Chinese restaurants in the 8 million population metroplex that I'll eat at. So we both order the sesame orange chicken. My go to is just sesame chicken but they didn't have that. No fried rice option either??!!! So we both chose to split Jasmin rice. The food came out in 15 minutes and looked good. The broccoli had no flavor and was undercooked and warm. Sorry but the sesame chicken was under impressive. I ate it but just wasn't great. It didn't taste bad though. Too much breading and the chicken was very small pieces once you got to it. I gave them 3 instead of 2 because the food wasn't bad. Just very underwhelmed!

Had a nice casual dinner here. Tried the Burmese dishes and started with the palatha, which is a fried type of bread with a wonderful sweet sauce. The lamb stew with a side of rice was delicious and tender. Definitely try those two. Also had the garlic noodles with pork. That one was ok I probably wouldn't get it again. Service is great they are nice and attentive. Not too expensive either so u would definitely go back.

    Cashew chicken and rice.

Door dashed cashew chicken and crab cheese puffs, advertised as buy one get one puffs. Only received one order. Also no rice included with the cashew chicken. Was told rice is separate. Really? That's not what the picture indicates. No satisfaction when I called. Zero Fs given

We came here after an airport run. We got here about 8:30 and they close at 9:00, but they welcomed us and assured us there was time to make us anything we would like from the menu. Needless to say, the service and ambiance was warm and welcoming. We chose this place because it was highly rated on Yelp. For a small restaurant, the menu was quite extensive with lots of interesting dishes to choose from. I wish I had been more hungry because everything on the menu seemed so interesting and delicious to order but we only wanted a light meal since we had just come from the airport. We got their signature tea leaf salad which is one of the best ones I have had! The freshly grated cabbages, fermented tea leaves, fried garlic, peanuts, sesame and sunflower seeds and whatever their dressing was, was so refreshing and crunchy. We also had the fried chicken wings which were plump, juicy, and crispy. I also had a mango lassi drink which was delicious and you can taste that the mango was freshly blended . I would love to come here again after the next airport run to try the other things!

Came all the way from the east bay to come here and it did not disappoint. The service was phenomenal!! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful when ordering. Salt and pepper fish 10/10 Eggplant 10/10 Chow Fun 10/10 The food was hot and flavorful and the ambience was very nice. Will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed the fatty parts of the pork belly curry. The curry's flavor was pretty good too. The non fatty parts were quite tough though. It was a pretty decent dish overall.

I hadn't been here in a while because it is not close to where I live. I was in the mood for Burmese so I went with a friend. As soon as I walked in I was reminded why this restaurant was so memorable. The food is very tasty. The vegetable dish was packed with spices that enhanced the flavor of the veggies. The garlic noodles were perfectly cooked and also tasty. The ingredients were of good quality which really made the dishes pop. The service was excellent! From the greeter to the servers and all other personnel all had smiles and willing to help in whatever way they could. It was bustling with customers which is always a good sign. The floors and restrooms are kept clean. I could not find any garbage on the floors and they were all clean. Overall, you have to come here to know what a great jem this restaurant is.

My son wanted to try the sea urchin pork dumplings since we had never had them anywhere else so we thought we would try them here. There were only two pieces per order for $8! So, $4 each dumpling! A bit pricey in my opinion. It was good but not sure if it was worth $4 each. My husband said they could have added some more fillings! The restaurant is fairly clean and has a decent decor. I like the painting on the wall and you can see the staff making the dumplings inside the restaurant. We also like their frozen dumplings. Not sautéed or cooked with finesse. While we were waiting for any food to come out, a couple of tables were seated after us but served their whole order while we waited for a dish to arrive at ours. Then came beef pan fried dumplings which were burnt on the bottom after waiting almost an hour for anything to come. We got a couple more dishes before we finally called it and just got the check. Flavors were bland, nothing stood out as delicious in flavor, texture, or overall bite. Even the vinegar used for soup dumplings wasn't the right type of vinegar. Service was slow, the food was subpar especially for the time it took to get anything on the table. Total waste of time, energy, and opportunity. Never again. The whole vibe felt like a quick service fast food experience rather than what we hoped to get out of it. Not for me clearly.

We had…read moreto put our name down and were finally given a table after waiting for maybe 45 minutes. It wasn't that bad of a wait though as we were entertained by the dog groomers next door. We ordered a beef noodle soup, potato and beef dry noodle, wonton soup, beef pancake rolls, and spicy wontons. It was so much food that we didn't take part in their extra noodles after finishing the bowl. My favorite had to be the braised beef stew as the soup was hearty, the beef was tender, and the noodles were very firm and bouncy. The beef pancake rolls were a very close second, though there wasn't anything different that they added compared to other places. The rest of the dishes were pretty good though I would definitely pass on the wonton soup next time as the soup just tasted like dried seaweed (something I don't like). Overall a really nice place to share dishes with your friends and family.

You know a place is good when your Asian mom eats here and goes, "... I think your dad will enjoy…read morethis" because there's no one pickier than your mom or your dad. On a weekday afternoon, we were seated promptly and I let my mom handle the ordering. 25th Avenue can be quite busy if you're here during the lunch rush or the weekends so just be aware, but there are no meters to pay which is great. They utilize Yelp waitlist so you can put your name on the list and go around the area (there's a Goodwill nearby) if you need to kill time and you'll get a text message when you're next. Overall, the food was good and the portions were reasonably priced. The highlight is the unlimited noodles which my dad can appreciate. There's not much service interaction, but the food comes out quick and you'll leave happy.
