Only missing the impromptu dance floor up front as the DJ came on. The service was amazing, and maybe it also made a difference that it's hard to find good service anywhere around here. Decent cocktails and food too...I highly recommend the smokehouse if you like bourbon!

And we interacted with neighboring tables on both sides to recommend (when asked) the oysters, and when one received a drink with a big smoke bubble that created a magical flow of smoke when it burst. French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

I searched a few places that may potentially have events going on but it wasn't guaranteed so my cousins and I decided to check out The Lass Stop. I was here the previous week after a wedding and the venue and bar space was beautifully decorated. We decided...let's check this place out for Halloween! I'm sure glad we stopped by since everyone was in their Halloween attire and the music was on point! We didn't have a reserved table but they were kind enough to put us in a booth where we could see everything. The owner was kind enough to introduce himself to us and even offered us a green tea shot! One for the win! The waitress was amazing and although it got really busy in the later part of the evening, she never forgot us and was always attentive. I love Cambodian food (especially finger food to snack on while drinking) and their menu did not disappoint. So about the drinks....it was some of the best and most creative drinks that I've ever had! I've been to the Red Door in Paris (second best bar in the world) and this place beats it by a mile long! My cousins and boyfriend throughly enjoyed this place and we are definitely going to be regulars here! I hope they have holiday theme events here...uh humm (Ugly sweater Christmas weekend....Santa con.....New Years Eve)

And of course the jollof is a must-have as a staple. I just wish there was more of it for the price. The service could also be better. Went to receive a pick up but was never greeted, so I just had to wait and stood there while I was wondering if they knew I was there for pickup. Was never given thanks for the order just a you're all set. However, the restaurant looks incredible and deserves a sit down. Will definitely try again next time we can get out of the house.

It looked dark from the outside, and they were doing a ton of decorating inside (for an apparent club night) that almost looked like construction from where we were looking. We went in and asked if they were takeout only, but they hesitantly offered us to dine in (no one else was seated). So we accepted and were sat near the front window where there was a loveseat and armchair near a table. It was a bit haphazard, but it worked. I ordered a modified rasta pasta with tofu and the friend got the butternut squash stew. The food was very good and they accommodated us pretty well when all was said and done. There are several tables inside, but it can get busy. Even though there might be a small wait for a table, people usually get seated within 10 min. The inside was what you can imagine of a mom and pop shop. The staff here was very nice and attentive. The food was the best part. I got the drunken noodles and it was seasoned well. I did ask for medium spice and it's a slow burn, so if you don't do spice well - get a mild spice and add additional sauces which are on the table. I can't wait to come back! The Thai tea is also perfectly balanced!

A Thai + Lao spot, some sweet and sour flavors and some spicy flavors, but for sure good flavor and portions. Here's what we ordered: - Crab Rangoons - Laarb Seen/Lao Beef Salad - Kowpoon/ Laotian Curry Noodle Soup - Beef Pad See Ew - Thai Iced Crab rangoons are FILLING. Good filling to wrap ratio, real crab meat used! I would order those Everytime. If you like the sweeter style filling this isn't it. Laarb seen, was alright the beef and the flavors were as expected but not memorable for me, the protein portion was a bit light for our dish. Kowpoon noodle soup, flavor was on point almost like a Bun Mam. The noodles for us missed the mark, the lady ended up scrapping the noodles on a spare plate. I didn't care for it either. Didn't have good chew, felt overcooked and soggy by time we got it. Beef padsee ew! Yes yes! Great dish, nice noodles, good brown sauce and beef was tender! Ice tea was creamy, you can taste the Thai tea still it wasn't overshadowed by heavy sweeteners. Nice spot, good prices, big menu. Will have to try other dishes next time around!
