First of all, the gentleman working the booth was more attentive to the young girls that walked in minutes after I did then my old 40 year old self and my mother. Secondly, we all understand freedom of speech and having your own political beliefs is your right. But, when you make it a part of your advertising constantly, even for those who slightly agree with what you are using to pull people in, it is a turn off.

The store is well organized and for the most part has everything you need, with certain stuff being online exclusives. They got handsoaps, aromatherapy scents, and even soaps and hygiene supplies for men! Everyone here in general is super helpful and friendly (Shoutout to "Mo" with helping me and giving recommendations with my Mother's Day shopping!), and it honestly was a really nice shopping experience. Like with any Bath & Body Works, my only gripe is how they're basically a season ahead which makes it feel wildly out of place, but sadly that's retail nowadays. If you ever come by Countryside Mall, definitely give this place a go! It's a small but cozy little shopping spot where you can get whatever you need for hygiene.

The scent selection is enormous and I love that the menu has so many options (diffuser, fragrance oils, candles, wax melts and room sprays [room sprays not customizable]). We each made multiple things in various scents. They had scents I've never even heard of. Our fragrance specialist (i made that title up) Natasha was the sweetest and she was extremely helpful when my friend wasn't confident about the scents she was developing. Natasha guided her and gave her suggestions of what she could add, take away and use more or less of until she came out with multiple products she loved. We look forward to our next visit.

What a neat experience!…read more The fam wanted to do a fun activity over the holidays. I stumbled upon The Candle Pour while searching for fun activities in or near Hyde Park. I suggested candle making and another activity and candle making was everyone's top choice. We made a reservation for a party of six and arrived a few minutes early. We were greeted and got started right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got to choose the type of candle, the size, and the scent(s). There are over 100 scent options, so it can be overwhelming if you're indecisive or not sure of what you want. I chose pine needles, white pepper, and black oud for my scents. After choosing our scents, the staff walked us through the pouring process step by step. Once the candle is poured, it will need to set for two hours before it is ready to go home. Since they were closing, we decided to come back another day to pick them up. We all loved our scents and were excited to light them. However, you have to wait two weeks before lighting them, which was the tough part! We've had our candles for almost three months now and use it sparingly since we like them so much and don't want to run out quickly. We thought the prices were reasonable especially for the quality of the candles and the experience. Highly recommend!

I fell in love with the place. The art is very well done and looks and feels higher end. I got an idea for my kitchen and within a week I purchased a significant piece. It's perfect in my kitchen. Really finishes off the room.
