The gyro platter had lots of spiced gyro with pita, salad, and seasoned fries. Everything was so good! Their chicken shawarma rice bowl is also a great option and you can get it spicy with their house made spicy feta. If you're looking for a refreshing and hearty appetizer, the dolmades was the one. It had a tangy flavor from the lemon and the grape leaves were tender. They had a lot to choose from as for desserts but I had to try their walnut baklava. It was layered, flaky, and sweet with walnuts baked within. It was one of the best baklava I've had! The cookies were on the dry and flaky side but I appreciated how they weren't too sweet. Their tzatziki sauce was also great. I think my favorite dish was probably the chicken bowl! Someone in our party also got the lamb kabobs, and the lamb was incredibly tender and well cooked. We ended up eating outside because we had two dogs traveling with us! There was outdoor seating kind of outside this restaurant and an Indian restaurant next door. Wow! I found my new favorite Greek restaurant!! This place was so delicious the owner was there working and he was so kind! I got the Charlie sandwich with Greek fries and a kids grilled cheese for my daughter( which came on a pita with fries!). Everything was amazing! That was the best tuna sandwich I've had in a long time! I want to go back in just to get a gyro to go for later! The place was cute and quiet! This is a very unassuming restaurant in a sort of industrial part of Worthington. Definitely a sort of hole in the wall, easy to miss place but def worth the drive and find! The owner was super friendly and recognized us as first timers. He provided a quick run down of the special of the day. I ordered the combo number 1 which is a gyro pita with fries and a drink. We also got the trio dip which had hummus, spicy feta, and eggplant. All the food was really good and came out really fast. The pita on the gyro and for the dips was so soft and fluffy with a nice crisp to it as well. The fries were also great dipped in the various dips. The owner actually came out and gave us a free brownie dessert with ice cream to welcome us, which was a super nice gesture. Definitely a great little Greek restaurant with amazing food and service! It's tough finding authentic gyro places especially since all of them are named in some form of *appy Greek. I took a chance on this place and I'm happy I did. This place is hidden behind some warehouse-looking buildings. You can drive behind them or a more annoying way around them. Stepping inside, the place is clean and very busy with employees operating a well-oiled machine. One of them was very good at multitasking, working on an order while giving me full attention and asking what I needed. The flavors of the gyro were fantastic, probably one of my top gyros. The fries were a little incomplete with flavor. Some fries were super flavorful and others more bland. The price was not the worst that I've seen either. read more

Visited 25 JUL 2024 This is a small storefront in a three unit block of building along a busy road. It is exactly the kind of spot you would expect to find a gyro place or pizza joint. We got carryout. There are tables, but while we were waiting no one was dining in, there were orders coming in, and bags going out. There is a lot of bright blue and the standard see the sights poster photographs as decoration. I got a gyro with fries, and my wife got a turkey and cheese in pita bread with fries. I would say that the food is average and suitable for the price and atmosphere. I have had better versions of that meal and I have had worse versions. read more

The gyros here are worth getting, they carve the meat fresh per order and you get a lot of meat. They are great at modifying things super friendly. Inside and out side seating. Spanakopita is delish here-it is very big. The hummus is also amazing. The ambiance is more like a deli, which somehow really works here. They have hand painted murals and a lot of windows The only con is it can be tricky getting into the lot as there is a median that makes entry tricky- so If you need to turn left to access restaurant drive:. This place rocks! The gentleman that helped us was fantastic. So friendly and accommodating. We immediately felt like we were part of the family or old friends. All of the food was delicious. Special shoutout to the 3 dips appetizer (hummus, eggplant, and spicy feta). My partner and I could've eaten just a plate of the dips for dinner. Well out of my way, but I've heard good things about it, and since it was on my way today I stopped in. Easy online ordering, interesting menu- goes well beyond just gyros. Nice little place, clean, friendly. Order was ready a few minutes early. I got the spicy feta app, and a gyro bowl. But there were a lot more things that were interesting. I got the bowl because I figured it would be easier to eat in the car while stopped, and later at lunch at work, better than a handheld gyro anyway. And it was. Lots of excellent meat, on a bed of yellow rice, with plenty of veggies, and tzatziki on the side. Good portion, very tasty. The spicy feta was an excellent dip, sort of medium heat, lots of cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and olives. Careful, the olives do have pits. Came with fresh hot pita. Access from the east is awful, so you'll have to go down and turn or make a u-turn, and be very careful. Prices are maybe a little high, but it's good stuff. Three dollars for a small fountain drink is a lot, but you end up with a five dollar discount for a combo I think, or maybe just for carryout. $20 total, and I was stuffed with good food. So, not bad for what you get. Definitely worth coming back someday, for a nice sitdown Greek dinner or for quick carryout. read more

Just got home from Yappy Greek and I'm so pleased with my experience. There was just one other couple there to get food when we got there, and the family's kids were cleaning tables and sitting at a table. We ordered the hummus appetizer and I got the chicken bowl, while my boyfriend got the chicken platter. The hummus bowl was presented so beautifully and it was incredible. I'm a sucker for fresh hummus. The pita was nice and soft and a perfect compliment to the hummus. Our food was ready incredibly fast and I was too excited to eat that I forgot to take a photo! The tzatziki sauce was perfect temperature and complimented the chicken, rice, and vegetables so well. My boyfriend even liked the tzatziki and he's not a huge condiment fan. The vegetables were fresh and crisp, and everything was filling! I cannot wait to come back and try more menu items. It's super close to where we live and I love trying new things. My boyfriend, who just started trying Greek food, even suggested that it's our new place. The owner and the whole family was incredibly kind and you could tell how passionate they are about their restaurant. I will be happily giving them my business from now on! read more

Mediterranean is one of my absolute favorite cuisines. This is my first time at Yappy Greek and it was amazing. I ordered a Greek salad with gyro and it was one of the best I've had. This is a small, unassuming restaurant on Wilson Bridge Rd. I only knew about it because I worked down the street. I came in and ordered the combo #1, a gyro with fries and drink, but I made my fries Greek fries (an extra $5.29), I believe. I LOVE Greek fries, and these were good. They had a good amount of sauce, which is how I love to eat them. My gyro was filled to the brim with gyro meat with veggies on top. I also ordered rice pudding with cinnamon for dessert. It was a nice, sweet way to end my savory meal. All in all, I thought it was a very solid meal. I'm a big Greek food guy, I use to go here a few yrs ago and when I have went the past few time I have gotten food that was a little old as in the gyro meat is crunchy and not fresh. Portions have went down and prices have went up. And when I say they really skimp you now and give old meat I mean it because I thought the last few times they were just having an off day but no. They are pricey for what they give you.. they don't even have a menu on their website because they keep changing the prices and often times it's on the spot.
