They had a food truck when I've been, but I usually don't get anything from it. The ambiance was pretty relaxed when I was there, which is always appreciated. The best part of me though is the goats they have outside! You can ask the bartender for food for them and go out and feed them! Looking forward to going back!

Upon walking through the gate, we discovered a hidden garden with fames and various seating arrangements ftom high tops to hammoks. What made the outdoor attractive and unique is outdoor game/activity options and a petting zoo area where a friendly goat and 2 miniature donkeys happily interacted with visitors. The owner freeted ys outside the entrance with the jolly dog by her side. The cozy inside space offered a variety off beer and wine selections along with sports TV and gaming options. We loved the concept and the delivery, find them and try them. If you go for a soccer game looking for early start at Downtown fun, the Watering Hole is the place to hydrate you need for nature, relaxation, and laid-back atmosphere. This is a place where you can chill with a drink in your hand while your kids are having a dafe and rare experience, you deserve it!

They kept the place mostly the same. It's such a great space, and I'm glad they didn't scrap it. The food is just as good as the beer. I had the wings, and they were huge and juicy, and the pizza was basically perfect. The Kale Caesar was a literal mountain (the pepperoni crumbles and golden raisins are a game changer), and the Shishito Peppers were great with that soy-ginger sauce and yuzu aioli. If you love their OG spot or were a fan of Dead Words, you definitely have to check out the Lager House. Same cool atmosphere, great people, and awesome food.

No more lighted bar for cool beer pics and the sign doesn't spin as much or have the beer choices. Still, there is good beer and great food, especially pizza. No charcuterie though. The food menu is fairly basic, pizza, wraps and small bites, also desserts and they make their own blue cheese and ranch dressings, which are delicious. I hear the boiled peanuts and the house meatballs are really good here. This location doesn't have all the beers the main location in Ivanhoe Park has. It has enough though. But it is way more spacious and there are pool tables and an arcade. So that is a plus. Also has a juke box, but they play the music so low you will barely be able to hear your songs. The service here was great as the beer and the pizza. So there is that. And of course it is Ivanhoe. Parking is limited and the area is a tad sketchy. Still had a great visit and probably would return.

Noir Bar is definitely one of my top BARS to visit on my short list of bars I enjoy immensely. I've…read morebeen coming since it opened, and I really cannot say I've been disappointed. The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

While it is nothing like it used to be back when Vintage, Vyce, and some of the older bars/night lounges existed, it is still a solid spot. It has also SURVIVED the various neighboring bar changes throughout the years. The bartenders, throughout the years, have also been quite solid! I have a couple of favorites that I always look for when I visit. Even the doormen are cool people. They have resident DJs that play throughout the week and weekends - all are pretty good! The vibe is usually pretty chill. The nights when they are slower are my favorite because they can get pretty packed. Service is usually pretty great. From time to time, they have specials/deals. They offer nice, fairly affordable mid-shelf (or top-shelf) drink options (as well as well-drink options). They also offer hookahs, if you are into that. Please keep in mind that if you have cash on you, you can get the hookah at a discounted rate. They have a decent number of TVs if you are looking to watch any games. As the name suggests, it is a "side" bar, so seating there is limited, but it does make for more than enough on slower days/nights. They have great hours, and you can also order food from Gitto's next door at the bar counter. All in all, it is a good spot to add to bar-hop rotation or to just visit in general.

Lots of real candles, burlesque pictures, and flowers made the mood cozy and sexy. The staff were wonderful. To drink, I got the lickin love with Cabernet (milk chocolate on the rim with a white chocolate drizzle). It was so fun and delicious. For my dessert, I ordered the fever, which consisted of a chocolate molten cake, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate decoration. It was so delicious and decadent. My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.
