What an incredible dining experience at Delany's Tavern! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and professional, and the ambiance was the perfect blend of elegant and welcoming. We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. The bartenders at The Drake in downtown Orlando told me I had to try this spot. It's amazing how bartenders rarely miss on spots with great food and drinks. Happy Hour is every day from 3-6pm and 8:30pm-close. I got here like 10 minutes before 6 so I put in a bunch of items. $12 burrata was excellent. I love the pesto, and the flavor overall. The best item of the night. Up next, the $10 Nasvhille hot wings. You get 6 wings. These were good too. Not Hattricks in Tampa good, but certainly up there on the rankings. Then, $10 brussels sprouts. Not crispy or charred enough for me, but they were still good. For drinks, I tried the $11 Delaney's Rita Spicy. Ooooohweee delicious! I also tried a $17 smoke em if you got em. This wasn't one of my favorite mezcals I've ever had. It was actually hard to taste the mezcal. I wouldn't order this one again. Tons of seats at the bar. Stopped here for lunch since it was close by to our hotel and we were super hungry. The interior was nice and the hostess and server were all very friendly. The menu had a solid variety. I went with the rib eye sandwich medium rare and it was definitely super rare and very chewy. I was so hungry that I didn't want to wait for a remake. The flavor was solid. It was just a hard sandwich to get through. The fries that came with it were great! This was a fun adventure! We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had the best time! Firstly, there is a parking garage very close to the restaurant and they do validate parking there. They had a happy hour (on a Sunday!) from 3pm-6pm. We were greeted by a very nice hostess who sat us in a cozy booth. I love the decor and ambiance here. We opted for some small plates and appetizers. All were very filling and so good. The hot honey on the crispy brussels was tasty! I always want a super crispy brussel and it was almost there for me. The burrata had a tomato jam that was sooo good with a hint of cinnamon. The bang bang shrimp and the beef wellington bites were also good. So was the hummus plate. Wanted to visit with a few friends for a quick bite and drink on a Sunday during brunch. Since I wasn't sure if it was required to do brunch I contact them and they were very accommodating and Nate was super helpful in helping with reservation! Also came by when we arrived to say Hi. Inside the place is super cute and cozy. We sat by the bar. I had an espresso martini and it was delicious! As for food we only had the burrata which was very good and refreshing. Also has the hot honey slider from the brunch menu which that I must while it was good it was a fail as it was $7 for just one bite size chicken slider. So now I know for the next time. Solid spot to stop for a quick bite! Me and some coworkers were staying at a hotel nearby, and decided to walk over to Delaney's on a Tuesday afternoon for some post-traveling lunch. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for the time of day, but I guess that just proves this is a popular neighborhood spot! Their menu features a little bit of everything, and it all sounded pretty good! I ended up ordering the Tavern Burger with a side salad. The salad came out first - the lettuce was fresh and it was dressed well. My burger was cooked to my liking, and it hit the spot after a morning of navigating airports. I also have to shout out the Diet Coke I ordered to kick off my meal ... it was crispy and refreshing with plenty of syrup. You might walk in expecting elevated pub fare and instead find yourself eating dishes that belong in a much more serious culinary conversation. Ronnald ordered the pan roasted sea bass and I had a bite of it, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was one of the tastiest fish dishes I have had in a very long time. The seasoning alone was out of this world, layered and balanced in a way that made you stop mid chew just to process what was happening. It was bright, savory, and perfectly executed, and between the two of us he absolutely chose the best main on the menu, hands down. I ordered the 8 oz barrel cut grilled filet, which was beautifully prepared and exactly what you want when you order a filet, but even I had to admit that the sea bass stole the spotlight that night. If that dish is any indication of the standard coming out of that kitchen, I have every reason to believe the rest of the menu is just as thoughtful and impressive. We were there enjoying this meal before heading to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to see Swan Lake, and it set the tone for the entire evening. It was one of those nights where everything aligns, starting with a genuinely gourmet dining experience and rolling seamlessly into an unforgettable performance. Great dinning experience. Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it just happened to be the first day of Magical Dining. For $40 we were able to eat a delicious 3 course meal. My starter was the crispy Brussels. I am not usually a big fan of Brussels sprouts but our waitress assured me that theirs was good. She was right. I think the combination of truffle goat cheese will chili honey made this dish very tasty. My second course was the NY strip with truffle mac n cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly although my cut had a bit too much fat for my liking. My dessert was the bread pudding with hazelnut gelato which to me was the winner of the night. My friend ordered poke tuna tostones and I was able to try some of it and I really liked the flavor. She had the black truffle ravioli with truffle caviar and she said it was really delicious. Finally came to check out Delanys Tavern, came for bite 30, food and athmosphere are exceptional. Modern gastropub with modern and upscale vibes, perfect for any occasion. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing, we started with the bang bang shrimp, burrata and mama becky meatballs for appetizers. My favorite was the burrata that came with arugula pesto, pepper tomatoe and aged balsamic with some bread on the side and the bang bang shrimp was so delicious crisp on the outside and the garlic almond crunch adds an irresistible nutty texture. For second course i got the docs smash burger with potatoes wedges and for dessert we got the brownie, carrot cake and and peach cobbler. My favorite was the brownie, very rich, dense on the inside with a slight crisp on the edge, paired with chocolate ice cream and chocolate drizzled. My favorite of all was my cocktail the raspberry key lime pie martini so refreshing and smooth. Would come again to have another raspberry martini. Came by on a Saturday night my second visit here. The place wasn't too busy, so it seemed like a slower evening. We started with two cocktails: an espresso martini and a Penicillin. Unfortunately, the martini had to be sent back it was very watery and didn't taste right, especially for the price. The Penicillin was okay but nothing memorable. I've definitely had better versions elsewhere. For food, we tried the crab soup and the highly recommended meatballs. The soup had decent flavor, though my friend did find a small piece of shell. The meatballs were a disappointment odd texture with some chewy, hard bits that reminded me of the unpleasant surprises you sometimes get in processed chicken patty's . Definitely not something I'd order again. Now for the highlight: the smash burger (we swapped American cheese for smoked Gouda. Absolutely incredible. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly possibly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I'd come back just for that. Service was good our server was friendly and attentive. I've been here several times and I will continue to come here. It's best to come during happy hour because that's when the parking is the most available. I've come later in the evening and has a circle around a lot, which is a bummer. Delaney's Tavern sits directly across the street from Orlando Regional Medical Center and it sits inside a boutique hotel, but can access from outside of the hotel. Has parking in a garage and the ticket can even be validated. It was quite crowded, but we had a table near the back of the restaurant which I wasn't a fan of, but again, it was quite crowded. I can't remember the waitress name but she was extremely helpful when it came down to making food decisions. I love seafood so I chose the blue crab flatbread as an appetizer and then the grouper as my entree. It was really really good. Weekday drop in on a Sunday evening! We descended onto Delaney's Tavern somewhat late into the evening! However, Delaney's had a nearly full bar and many tables full to my surprise! IMO, this was great to see the community coming out to support this small tavern of sorts on Orange Ave! I'm any event, we were seated soon after arriving and given a table in the back room which had a few tables taken!; I've been here before and it's never been a bad place to go. The place is clean and the menu is put together to not be overly complicated, but rather with dishes that folks looking for a more formal menu will find without the bravado of over places with a similar menu. With menus like this (labeled New American cuisine), I like to try the burrata. This interaction was done well. Presto was on the bottom of the dish (so good) with a pepper tomato jam on top. Not your classical style, but done very well nottheless. For mains, we keep it simple (again wanting to try dishes you can get at most places to compare) and went with the barrel cut filet mignon which comes with a roasted yukon gold potato (cut up), mushroom, broccolini and black garlic jus. All in all, it was good, but the steak was not what you would consider "barrel cut" and was choice beef which isn't bad, just not prime. The other dish was the Champagne Risotto which tonight came with beef short rib. Overall, it had a nice flavor but wasn't a dish you'd be thinking about days later. We were happy to find Delaney's Tavern which had a bottomless mimosa brunch buffet. The bottomless mimosa was included in the brunch. The price was more than reasonable with the bottomless mimosas since we drink a lot. They offered a small buffet with fruit and basic breakfast staples. You can order more unique breakfast items from the server as they were made to order. The buffet also has a chocolate fountain. There was not much items to choose from. They did offer make your own pasta and omelettes as well. The restaurant itself is small and is connected to the hotel. The servers were nice but kept us waiting to order more items and drinks.
