The special occasion Thanksgiving Day dinner. We had the homemade cranberry, Brussel sprouts, sausage stuffing, mashed potato and sliced turkey breast, with brown gravy and mac and cheese. Followed by pumpkin cheesecake drizzled with caramel. The best of all was the service! The waitress- Janey- was outstanding. I watched around me , she removed the food and boxed it up away from the table and brought it back in a bag. Everyone else had take home boxes just handed to them and they bagged it themselves. This place is always packed but we manage to get seated fairly quickly. The ambiance is that of a typical bar/restaurant, dark and loud music. The food is always good here. It was my first time having fish and chips and boy was I excited about that decision! The best part about it was the dipping sauce. I'm not sure what was in it but it's the type of sauce where it tasted so good you'd want to just drink it or find anything to dip into it. The tartar/horseradish was actually pretty good and flavorful. My son got the jambalaya and really enjoyed it. My husband got the new shrimp tacos and he devoured the whole plate before I could take a picture. For a Sunday lunch, it wasn't too crowded, the food was great and the service was ok. Oh and on a side note, if you order a flavored tea, if you want it to be sweet, ask for sweet tea with whatever flavor otherwise you will have to dump in a lot of sugar to get the flavor you want. Also, one thing that I really like about this place is that they have a variety of options on the menu, gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan, this to me is something special. I really enjoy going to a place that has these options. Not to mention not just 2 or 3 options but a list full. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a variety of items to choose from. From the moment we walked in, the service was great and we were seated promptly. Our server was super friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Lobster Garlic Noodles, and wow- they were loaded with flavor. Total turnaround from our last visit! First our server Max T. Was all that to the max! Attentive and he even passed my awareness tests I commonly use on servers, just to see. Like setting things to the edge of tables to see if they get grabbed up on a run by! Or leaving water glass out to get refilled. The restaurant was full and Max was handling several tables pretty smoothly! Managers were roaming. We never had one visit but that's okay as there was no need! The food came out quite quickly as did drink refills. The food is always tasty and fresh at YH. Service is what sets it off good or bad. Definitely good for big groups. We had a group of 12. First time here and someone in our group liked this place. We only ordered starters and everything we ordered was good. I was surprised with how good the poke nacho was. I would definitely be back to try other items on their menu; mainly their steak and fish and chips. Table service was awesome. I took a couple and we wanted to try the new location. We ordered 2 beers and a soda which all came quickly. Server was professional and courteous. The beer could have been colder, but at 10.00 for a 23 ounce seemed a little high. I ordered the firecracker shrimp and it came with what looked like a hash brown under it and 7 smaller shrimp with breading and a slightly spicy sauce. Bot my favorite as the shrimp were overcooked and dry. We then ordered dinner, one person got the sliders and really enjoyed them as she stated they were like smash burgers and were fairly good sized considering you get 4. The other person ordered chicken with cilantro and he enjoyed it as well. I ordered the garlic spicy noodles with rib eye that was supposed to have been shaved. When it was served ( this is a newer menu item and the server claimed it was good and a little spicy) I noticed that instead of shaved meats there was some clumps of meat. I tried the few pieces that were shaved and they were overcooked and very dry, not much spice to the noodle or garlic flavor. The reason for the low review was once I separate the clumps of meat it was raw in the middle, not rare but blue. It appears that they get the meat in clumps and break it up well the chef did not and I was served raw beef. I showed the server and was not wanting another dish of the same and told her I didn't want anything else. Like I said above the server was not the issue it was the food and based on this I will go to the Oyster Bar, Pasta Cucina or the steakhouse at Sunset Station and avoid this place. read more

So apparently this location is new and has only been open for about 3 weeks now. It's really nice, clean, and new looking. Very convenient location wise. Apart of the casino, free parking lot available. I came on a Friday night so it was crowded and had a wait, but eventually were seated. Our server was nice. The service was decent, and the food was good. They are very strict when it comes to their alcohol policies. The calamari was delicious and such a perfect appetizer. The Korean ribeye was pretty good, and so were the sweet potato fries. The lobster garlic noodles were good as always. We got nachos and added carne asada and they were so delicious. The whiskey glazed salmon was really good and I enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes and broccolini very much! Now the chicken tortilla soup was not like your average, it looked and tasted very different, but wasn't bad, but however turned out to be a stomach ache. read more

We had no problem being accommodated for our large group of 13 on a busy Saturday afternoon. Our servers were very friendly and nice. No bottomless mimosa option but they do have mimosas. The menu is pretty large with lots of great options. For my meal I had the dynamite shrimp which were delicious. I had a side of yummy truffle fries. The prices were reasonable. Ofcourse we had to check out the new yard house in town... party of 11. We celebrated my brother in-laws 42nd birthday. We waited about 20 minutes for our table. Our waiter was super fast got our drinks when she returned she took our order for dinner. We ordered 3 calamari for starters but only 2 came out so for the 3rd order they hooked it up. We got most of our order but they messed up on the two burgers we ordered. They gave my boyfriend the wrong burger instead of giving him the truffle mushroom they gave him the jalapeño burger which burned his throat. But his original burger didn't come out yet. 20 minutes after both burgers came out but it was rare they both ordered medium rare. Picture to be shown. We called the manager name Debbie she was super sweet and took it back to the kitchen. At this time they didn't want to wait and ruined their appetite so we had it made to go. They copped the two burgers so that was awesome. Service recovery. We all paid for the bill and asked for the cake. Waited another 20 minutes until we asked another worker. Upon leaving we asked for to go containers from two different servers. Overall experience the manager did great with service recovery. As far as the rest of the staff it was a Monday night a lot of tables were emptied they could've done a better job. read more

I've been hearing a lot of good comments about the Yard House at Sunset Station. We just got through watching a movie and decided to go checkout Yard House to take advantage of the Happy Hour specials. Walking in, I could see that the place was very crowded, but thankfully, a table was being cleaned and we were seated in just a few minutes. This place is a great gathering spot! Lots of people, lots of TVs, very good vibes here! You order off a small machine that's on the table, it's very easy to use, and even had pictures of everything. We ordered several items, and had to limit ourselves because everything sounded so good! Seared Tuna, chicken lettuce wraps, poke nachos, fried calamari, fried cheese curds, and some cheeseburger sliders. Everything arrived, one after the other, and was everything was very, very good! The service was great, and ordering from the machine was quick! The orders go directly to the kitchen, so they start on it immediately, and comes out super quick! Today's lunch choice was a double BLT on Brioche bread. I substituted fruit for the fries to feel a bit healthier. I was a bit disappointed this visit. The bread was dry and the tomatoes weren't ripe (still largely green.) There was plenty of bacon. As usual, the service was excellent, the booth was comfortable, and the overall vibe of the place was great. I took half of the sandwich with me and will remake it on some fresh bread for dinner. There are alot of great menu choices here. The sliders from the appetizer menu is my favorite, although I had to send them back as undercooked on my last visit. You can never go wrong with Yard House if you're looking for somewhere convenient with fusion menu options. Their appetizers alone are great (cheese curds or calamari is great). We are staying her sr the hotel and came for a late dinner. Our server Rosie was great. I ordered a appetizer shiitake noodle dish that was fabulous. The poke nachos were delicious. I ordered a ribeye and my server had me cut into it to make sure it was cooked well and it was overcooked so Rosie immediately had it redone and the manager came over and apologized and gave us a free appetizer (sashimi) while we waited which was high quality. First off...we LOVE yard House! We usually go to the Yard House at the Red Rock because of where we live, but we were staying the weekend at Sunset Station for a soccer tournament so of course we had to hit this one up as well! The Yard House at Sunset Station is at the front of the Casino and has the same look, feel and set up as you would find at any of their restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, and great service as always too. We stopped in for a quick bite and drink during the day and it did not disappoint. My daughter had the sliders that she loves and I got the Korean Chili Garlic wings. As always, the food and service was fantastic and nothing but good things to say about our experience. If you are a fan of Yard House, this is another one of their fantastic locations. If you haven't been, you gotta check out their incredible menu and awesome drinks. Overall my experience at this location was not as expected. 4/30/26 5pm. We didn't end up dining in. Once entering we were greeted by 2 hosts. They asked if we preferred inside or outside, we requested to sit in the Bar area and were told there wasn't a server in that area and we couldn't sit there. We then asked if happy hour was running to which we were told yes. Then requested again to sit in the bar area as the happy hour menu is only offered in the bar or outside. They seated us among other people already seated in the bar area. We decided on our selections and sat for 15 minutes without anyone coming by to even offer water. We then decided to leave and enjoy happy hour else where. Overall the restaurant is nice and inviting. As for staffing I am hoping this was just a day with hiccups. I don't frequent this side of town so I do not think I will be going out of my way to try out this location again. read more

Some friends shared with me that this place was pretty good for their fish & chips, so while I was in town for a weekend, I decided to give it a try. The place is located connected with Sunset Station Casino & Hotel. It does offer an outside entrance to the business, as well as an entrance from the casino. It appears to be a very popular spot for folks to gather, because it was very busy with a lot of folks waiting to be seated. I opted to order my food to go. I ordered the calamari and the Fish & Chips dinner. I can easily say that you will not go away hungry. The calamari was an appetizer but still had a sizable serving. It came with marinara sauce & tartar sauce. The fish came with several large pieces of fish that was battered that was light and still crispy when I got back to my hotel. It also comes with choice of fries (reg plain, seasoned, truffle or garlic) and nice coleslaw. The location offers outdoor seating as well, as a large indoor space. The young lady (Naomi) that took my order was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this location or any of their other locations while visiting or if you live here. read more

Beer selection as expected and a cheerful atmosphere that's even competing with being inside a full-blown Las Vegas casino. First time here at the new location in Henderson I have not been able to get in being it's so busy here. But I made it today! For some odd reason I didn't have to wait and it's busy today. But all jokes aside this location is amazing for I prefer this to driving to the town square location so much more convenient. My waiter is/was " EDDIE" brotha was so nice to us treated us like family friends! He spoke very well amazing smile great humor and respectful! So Eddie thank you for being our waiter tonight! We started are meal out with the queso dip first time having it was so freaking good! The protein was beef I believe with poblano peppers red salsa ughhh it was great. Must have when coming here next time! Also came with tortilla chips and flour tortillas. I had the pepper jack burger that's always amazing nice premium beef bottom bun comes smothered with poblano peppers oh the bun is brioche by the way. Paired with crispy fries and a pickle spear. Then we got the Nashville hot chicken with pancakes. The chicken breast are juicy very crunchy they are spicy so heads up. I just found it tonight the pancakes have potatoes incorporated I did not know that but they are so good! And the syrup is spicy as well. This plate also came with a pickle. Hey if anyone knows me they know it's almost mandatory I always get a side salad with my meal and sadly my waiter forgot to put the order in. But you know what he came and apologized and I let him know it wasn't a big deal he was sincere. So then he and the manager came and told me they would give me a free salad and I was already completely stuffed. Then Eddie went above and beyond and offered me a free desert on the house and recommended the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The desert was amazing crispy edges on the bread pudding a cream sauce paired with vanilla ice cream Was very tasty. As I've said before I love the dark theme that yard house has this location also seems to be more spacious than the others restroom was really clean. They are single person stalls so if there is a line or in use you have to go inside casino. The services never failed me and the food is always consistent. I always get to the Cali Stack roll. This is my favorite thing on the menu. We also got the brussels sprouts the truffle fries and my boyfriend got the Korean ribeye I'm sure if I complained about the truffle fries being cold, they would have given me another one, but I didn't wanna be that person so I just ate them, but the brussels sprouts were delicious. Finally made it to the new yard house at Sunset casino. We were greeted at the door and gave our name, it was a Friday so there was a small wait. We were told 25 mins and he was pretty spot on. Everyone from the start was super friendly and once we were seated we were greeted right away by our server. Everything was clean and set up well. There was music and it was a little loud but that was understandable. We ordered our drinks and they were delivered fast, once we ordered our food it took a little bit for it to come out and it was understandable because it was definitely busy. I ordered the whiskey burger and the burger was cooked perfectly but the sauce was put on the bottom bun and the burger had to have sat in the window for a bit because the bun was soaked and mushy. Unfortunately I couldn't taste much of the whiskey sauce but it was still good. The wife got the gumbo and she enjoyed it as well. I splurged and got the brownie for dessert and it was really good . Recently opened inside of Sunset Station this location is very lively & spread out. Tried making a reservation the day before but they do not take reservations. We went and put our name on the wait-list...came around 2pm on a Sunday...maybe 10 minutes wait, so not bad. I used to go to their location in Pasadena...so familiar with their menu. They always have good tacos and burgers. But I had my usual favorite - their spicy tuna stack...very good with a nice kick! And really enjoyed their Black Orchid martini! Overall everyone had a good time...was busy so a bit of a wait at the table but our server was funny & friendly..so that made up for it.
