Also the portions were smaller. We had the. Spinach dip that was very good but smaller quantities than what I am used to. I went with the whiskey burger and it was definitely a smaller size burger but once again great flavor still there. Also the overall size of the beer menu seemed smaller than some locations. So all in all everything smaller but great taste of menu still there. 1 star deducted due to smaller portions. read more

Yard House always delivers. This is a great addition to the Sunset Station property and a huge win for Henderson. They have a great happy hour deal with half off appetizers, we love the poke nachos and the sliders. $4 off 1/2 yards of beer are all a great deal. The ambiance is consistent with other Yard House locations in Vegas, overall a nice vibe especially if compared to the PKWY taverns in the area. Table service was okay, on our first visit the waitress checked-in on us a lot and seemed confused that we were only there for drinks and appetizers. We love coming to yardhouse and we were excited that they opened a location closer to our area. The restaurant is really nice and you can enter from the outside rather than only going through the casino. The waitress we had was amazing and super friendly! We ordered everything off the happy hour menu. The mushroom truffle pizza was so good ! I highly recommend if you like truffle. The poke nachos are always amazing and so was the cheesecake. We ordered the calamari but i wasn't a big fan of it, the texture was a little off and it was kind of bland. I love the new location and even the staff in front was very nice and friendly. read more

Hey Yelpers! So I've been watching this place be built with anticipation for a while. It's finally open and we come in to check it out. This place is nice! You can access the restaurant without actually going into the casino if you don't want to. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because there is a lot going on in the building (sports book, movie theater, casino, and restaurants). You can always valet and then walk over, but the walk would be about the same distance. Anyway, the place looks great! Very clean and open. It seems a little dark with the color scheme they use, but the lighting makes it pretty easy to see your menu. Lots of TVs for various viewing options. The food and drinks were excellent. I had the whiskey glazed salmon and the wife had the poke salad. Together we shared the brussel sprout appetizer. We also shared a taster flight of beer and cider (Perry's Cherry Chocolate Nitro Brew, Golden Mango Cart, New Belgium Seasonal pumpkin ale, and Blake's Triple Jam cider). The sprouts went great with the chocolate nitro, the flavors balancing each other out. The other drinks were just as good. My salmon was amazing. A nice, slightly sweet flavor with a perfect little crunch just along the edge of the salmon. I don't normally order fish but I'm so glad I did. The veg and potatoes that came with it were nice as well. The wife also enjoyed her poke salad enough that the only thing she would share was one of the wonton chips. As for the service, everyone was great. Our server was super attentive to whatever we needed and very friendly. We will be back again soon. If you want to watch a game somewhere, or just go for a meal, a drink, or happy hour, this is a place to go for sure!!! read more

We are frequent guests of Yard House and we're really happy when this location opened. And it hasn't disappointed. We visited Sunday around noon and were seated immediately. Our server was Cheyenne and she was excellent!!! She was pregnant and still hustling. She checked in at every point of our visit. I am an ice tea drinker and it annoys me when there is so little ice in my tea. No complaints there. And she was right on the spot with re-fills also. I hope we see her again soon. Pleasantly surprised! Was not aware this was a chain when we arrived, thought it was a stand alone restaurant. Menu had great variety and everyone at our table ordered something different. My family and I are regulars here and we always dined at the tables. Food is good for the most part and if something is not right, the managers are quick to fix things. Tonight I came by myself so I sat at the bar. Took a while to be greeted. When I received my drink, the wine glass had lipstick on it. Disgusting. I flagged down a manager and he got me a new drink. The bar experience was a let down. Didn't feel welcome. No smiles and zero personality. I felt like a burden to them for expecting some service. Freddy was our server and was absolutely amazing. I have a dairy allergy and he checked to ensure I could eat what I ordered and gave alternative options if items had dairy. It got 2 stars because the server was great.... She was nice attentive and brought us refills. The food has tanked! I got a blt that was a triple decker for $18.00.... This translated into 3 slices of what appeared to be wonder bread, this bacon, copious mayonnaise and lettuce... I think 1 small slice of tomato, the fries were especially disgusting as they appeared to be from dirty oil or fried a few times for added grease, yet were cold and stale. The grilled cheese has the same quality of wonderbread and a few slices of cheese. I can't express how disappointed we were with quality they don't have anymore. Use to be good .... But wow!! Service is a 2 (from our experience) My food was good (when it finally came out) Sunset Station is known for having lots and lots of travel ball sports teams staying there. You would think that the hotel restaurant would be used to serving large parties. Drinks, Food, all came out at waaayyy different times and drinks forgotten. They tried to do checks by last name and most checks were incorrect. We all sat at a few different tables so it should have been no different from a waiter having 5 tables to handle. So since they have opened I've eaten here a good number of times. I've ordered burgers, poke nachos, noodles, blts. This last time I ordered a Korean Ribeye to go done Medium. I hate to say but it was the worst steak I've had from a restaurant in 20 yrs. Not only was it undercooked being closer to rare than Medium, but the steak itself was terrible quality. Unfortunately me and my table of 6 were all quite disappointed when they brought out a pretty burnt pizza with barely any cheese on it, couldn't taste the cheese just tasted burnt, it looked nothing like the picture, I was really excited to try this with expectations this would be a yummy cheesy pizza which how can you go wrong with that? We regretted not just returning it and getting another, especially when we see them bringing out a bunch of different pizzas to other tables and those looked way better. Other than that the food was overpriced just to be decent. The Wisconsin cheese curds and poke nachos were good though. We had high expectations about the restaurant because we had seen the construction of the place, we were curious about the food and we have never been to the Yard House. I do love yard house. The food is pretty great. I went here with my family for my sister's birthday. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table on a tuesday. Which is a little weird but expected, since it is at a casino. The drinks and the sodas were pretty good. The appetizer I got was brussels sprouts, and I happen to like slightly burnt and caramelized brussels sprouts. I am saying this because they were kind of burnt and I am perfectly fine with that. I also got a filet mignon, which was amazing, to go home I ordered the cheesecake. It was slightly dark and the TVS were so loud. I could barely hear. My family is sitting next to me but it was extremely clean. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because it took forever to get refills on our drinks and overall, a long time in the restaurant. Extremely tough , wasn't cooked properly , the marinade was disgusting. The service was not very good either. Little things like forgetting requested ranch along with salt and pepper. Jan 10 we had a family dinner after enjoying the 49ers win at the sports book. Angle our waitress was absolutely fantastic none of use had to ask for refills or almost anything. My father in law had heart issues so he is on a very special diet and Casey was brilliant with all of his ideas he ended up with a delicious dinner. We also had assistance the following night with a togo order and I had the pleasure with meeting Jordan he is such a kind soul.
