The only reason I come to Yardhouse is for their poke nachos during happy hour at 10pm. I would not pay regular price for their poke nachos but this is my go-to item when I come here with my 15+ group of friends, which they can easily accommodate. The poke nachos is loaded with fish and avocado and the sauce that they drizzle over the dish is very delicious. I highly recommend the poke nachos! read more

The food is good but due to my recent experience at Yard House I will no longer be returning. I ordered the shiitake garlic noodles (which I have ordered on another occasion and was perfect) and was given noodles with both shiitake and cheap Portabella mushrooms. Realizing this mistake I contacted my server to inform her that my mushrooms were not shiitake completely because the taste texture and pricing point of shiitake mushrooms is much higher than Portabella. Been here plenty of times and have usually gotten great service but Saturday 3/5 was some of the worst service i have ever received anywhere... Kate, i don't know where you kept disappearing to but man you had so much potential to make some great money. We went to celebrate mine and my husbands marriage with our bestfriends( a group of 6) and we were looking to drink and have a good time. None of us had our kids so we were going to let loose. Instead we had a total of 3 drinks in almost 4 hours because we could never get ahold of you. At one point we had the iPad with the red blinker in the air trying to just get ANYONE to come over. Had to ask multiple servers to get you to come instead of you just checking on us. Our water glasses were always empty and our drinks would always take forever, but you always blamed it on the bar. First time coming to the Yard house in Riverside, it was a pleasant experience especially since it was my son's 21st bday .we had a wonderful server , Savanna she was so sweet and attentive, food was delicious and drinks keep flowing , my only complaint was the wait time with the new server , everything was great until Savanna was leaving her shift and we got a new server , then things began to drop , the time for her to come back was insane , I asked for a cup to go for juice like 3x she kept passing by saying she will be right back until after 15 min I went to the bar to get a cup but again was told my server will bring it , it wasn't until I raised my voice - CAN I JUST GET A CUP ? All I want is a cup!!!! Then the bar lady finally gave me one .i don't understand the hold up for a small to go cup , that server was just not good , she didn't seem to want to be working literally just kept walking by our table ,I had to call her out and ask for whatever was needed then had to wait for so long for her to come back. One of our go to places when we can't decide what to eat. I love the fact that they have a whole portion of the menu catered towards vegetarians/ Vegans. My favorite are the gardein fire cracker wings and the gardein bbq salad. The Lobster garlic noodles are to die for!!!!! The drinks are also very fairly priced, our favorite is the sweet tart martini YUMM. I would highly recommend their Crème Brule, it is one of the best ones we've had! The happy hour deals are also great. The service has always been professional. Even when we have had larger parties here the waiters are attentive. They also have a pickup to go option. read more

Went in for dinner tonight and we were really impressed by Mark the manager! He gave the type of assistance of someone who genuinely wants to make guests happy. Even bringing up a concern of ours so late into our meal, he still was adamant about making things right. We really appreciate his effort and accommodations. His type of service, genuineness, and energy isn't commonly seen in the industry these days and even with the couple of interactions we had with him tonight, we were able to notice that. read more

Sadly, I am writing this review without even having a drink or a bite to eat. I've been to Yard House many times but this was my first experience at the Tyler galleria location. Upon being seated, I immediately went to the restroom only to find it was in serious need of restocking in every single stall. (AKA-there was no toilet paper to be found.). I walked out to let the staff know. And there were three wait staff standing right outside the entrance to the restroom. I let them know that the restroom needed restocking. I got a quick OK and then they turned back to talking to each other again. I said "excuse me, there's no toilet paper at all in the ladies restroom." One of the wait staff turned to me and said, "we'll let somebody know," and went back to the conversation. I returned to my table, sat down, and the three were still talking. That's not the kind of service that I want at a restaurant, so I promptly left and went elsewhere. read more

I always come for their gardein menu, but seriously it's overpriced.. I would suggest coming during happy hour if you are ordering from the vegan menu. However, the food does taste great! Poke Nachos are awesome and we usually also get the wings, lumpia, pizza and sliders. This last time we went we got the lettuce wraps and the calamari. Both were winners. My mojito was delicious and strong. Service was good, our waitress checked on us many times and refilled our water when needed. We paid using that little tablet they leave at your table which was super convenient since sometimes you can end up waiting forever for your check. read more

I wasnt a big fan of The Yardhouse, and I blame it all on my sister and server Amanda. How dare my sister dragging me in there, just because her in-laws LOVE this place and have a preferred server. I walk in and the entire daytime staff was Amazing. I was mostly impressed by Amanda. I used to be a server trainer for The Olive Garden, sooo my standards are always way too high and maybe a little unrealistic (at least I thought it was). NOPE, she killed it. AANNND even after we had been camping in her section for what seemed hours... She made us feel as welcome in the 11th hour as she did when we first met. ASK FOR HER YOU WON'T REGET IT. Dropped by just prior to the Kathy Griffin Fathom Events special at the AMC theater nearby. Very convenient. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, the chicken nachos and a berry sangria. I gave 2 stars for this review: 1 for the sangria and 1 for the good service from Christian. As for the rest of the meal, there were assorted issues: 1. Grossly overpriced menu. How about an average of $7 for a CUP of soup, $10.50 for Sangria that sells for $5.95 to $6.95 at most places and $14 to $17 for most mid-priced entrees. 2. Instead of staggering my two HOT food items, they brought the nachos and then 1 minute later along came the pizza. Now, I' m forced to choose between which one I want to eat hot and which one will be cold. I choose the nachos, and by the time I was done 10 to 15 minutes later, the pizza was stone cold. WHY would they ever bring 2 major hot food items at the same time for ONE person? 3. Minimal chicken for the price paid on both the nachos and pizza. These are NOT cheap items on the YH menu, so we should be getting a generous amount of chicken breast. 4. NO salt or pepper on ANY of the tables. When I asked my server WHY this was, he told me: "The restaurant feels their food is already properly spiced." WHAT? How arrogant is that posture? Let the customer determine if the food needs more salt or pepper. That is NOT the restaurant's dominion. Is this a corporate decision or a local one by the restaurant's manager and an anal chef?? 5. What happened to my favorite French Onion Soup and Corn Chowder that USED to be great at this location? No longer on the menu..... I will be back, but will only dine during Happy Hour M-F 3 to 6 p.m. and late night as well, as that is when they have 50% off selected apps, and $2 off most drinks.......but I'll never come and pay the way too steep regular hour prices. I'd rather go to the more affordable Red Lobster, Olive Garden, or Korean BBQ all you can eat where you can feast for $20. read more

10/10 experience I went around lunch with a group of friends I haven't seen in a while to celebrate birthday and despite it being very busy we were promptly sat and our waitress briejenn was so sweet she even offered us tasters of beer which no one has done before! They were sadly out of my favorite ace guava but I got some really good recommendations unfortunately the bathrooms were a little unkept but Briej really made our whole experience feel so special she was so personable which is hard to find in a restaurant as I feel most of my experiences feel very robotic but not with her it was so much fun from the drink recommendation to the poke nachos and the lobster noodles I got. We didn't tell her we were celebrating anything cause we didn't wanna worry about people singing to us lol but she overheard us and right before we left she surprised us with a birthday desert!! The only thing I have to say negative is the little computers are such a pain and she kept having to restart them or get us a new one to pay our bill. This is the first time I've ever been to a restaurant, and they asked me to pay before I even receive service

My coworkers and I went for lunch and were not very happy with our visit. First of all, there were six of us and they wanted to sit us in one of the normal sized booths. The whole back wall was open with the large booths, but they didn't have a server for that area when we walked in. They sat us in the large circular booth in the corner when I commented that we would be squished in the smaller booth. Our server came over promptly and took our drink orders. I asked for extra ice in my tea and the tea she gave me had hardly any ice (sorry...it's a pet peeve of mine). We then waited forever for our meals. A really long time. I was getting a little frustrated because it was obvious we were on our lunch hour and they weren't even busy. They brought our food and my salad was mostly lettuce. Even my coworkers commented on the lack of other ingredients, but by this time I was starving and we had already waited over half an hour for our food. We had three birthdays, so our server asked them what they wanted and they ordered their desserts. She asked us if we wanted refills and again I asked for tea with extra ice. What does she bring me again? Tea with hardly any ice in it. Grrrrrrr. The wait for the desserts was another long wait. She brought the desserts and we said we were ready for the checks. Then we waited for her to bring them back. All in all we ended up being gone way too long, so we decided we won't be going back there for lunch. Very disappointed. read more

Went here for their Late Night Happy Hour to celebrate a friend's birthday! My boyfriend and I arrived SUPER late to the point where I thought we weren't going to make it in time to order before their kitchen closed. We made it just in time since the server got to the table less than 3 minutes after we got there to tell us that it was last call for orders. Phew! My boyfriend and I ordered some Poke Nachos and their [Mac and Cheese]^2! I actually really liked the Poke Nachos and would order them again! They were part of their Happy Hour deal so I'm glad that we tried them out. I love their [Mac and Cheese]^2 and ALWAYS order it whenever I'm at Yard House! I would recommend both of those items off of their menu to anyone. Our server was super sweet and helpful, especially when I was asking her what was most popular on the Happy Hour menu. My sister and I come here every week. Usually we have awesome waiters!!!! We even spoke to the Manager on our last visit about how superb the service was!!! On Thursday we had Ariana as our server and she was honestly terrible. She wasn't friendly or personable whatsoever. She doesn't write your order down, and our orders come out wrong. We ordered our water with lemon while we were waiting for our alcoholic drinks. She forgot the lemon and didn't card us for our alcoholic beverages either. We ordered our appetizers and our meals at the same time just to save time. We had asked her while ordering to have the appetizers and meals spaced out since it was a lot of food. Both our appetizers and our meals arrived at the exact same time. No space in between at all. My sister specifically ordered the BBQ salad without shoestring onions. Her salad came with the onions. So we had to wait to eat until they remade it. She brought my sister a new cosmo at the same time. Once she brought out the remade salad she didn't check in with us for our ENTIRE MEAL. Only after our meals were finished did she come over asking if we needed refills on our drinks!! Um we could've used a new drink earlier. Especially because my nachos were spicy. We looked for her and she was nowhere to be seen. We also didn't order dessert because even after I instructed her to leave a menu for us to decide what we wanted, she still took it. The food was great as usual. However I would not recommend Ariana as a server. She is not nice to guests, and doesn't do a good job. read more

Food varies, so does the staff. For the most part the going is easy here and it's a go to whenever I'm in the area. Occasionally you run into an insane amount of attitude and arrogance from the hostesses whom have zero customer service skills or etiquette. Some are polished and nice, others should check their attitude at the door if they want a job in customer facing environments. Someone in my party has a disability and the nasty tone expressed when we mentioned this and asked for a table that isn't too far was insanely unacceptable. Hopefully the management learns when they hire these nasty attitude employees to coach out of the business. This is overall my 25-30th visit here and my rating is based on my experiences overall during all experiences. Emily in particular needs to check the attitude at the front desk. Always loved coming here. But since it has been sold the quantity has slowly gone down hill. Ordered the ahi sashimi appetizer was horrible. Extremely fishy and very dark in color. Must have been old. Usually is the color of rare filet mignon and taste like the filet. The server switched it out for calamari but that was even disappointing. The only redeeming thing is the beer selection. If your food isn't the quality of the beer why bother. Probably will never go back. read more
