We walked in as a party of 16 on Fathers Day, once we were seated Allie took over and made sure we had everything we needed. She was patient with our big party and brought us everything we needed in a timely manner. Allie was so friendly, always has a smile on her face and we truly appreciated her service. She is awesome. I discovered this place few weeks ago when the child was randomly craving pancakes in the afternoon. When I called in I realized they were like ten minutes away from closing and the cook had already shut the stove down. I was speaking with Debbie and told her that they were for a kid and she was super kind enough to have the cook turn the stove back on and make us a few pancakes! I was super happy to be able to get what the kid was craving and the kid was super happy too! We then came in to eat about a week later. We ordered more pancakes, eggs, hash browns and a chorizo burrito. Everything was actually really tasty and we finished every bite of our food. I was impressed with the quality and taste from this tiny gem that's been hiding right under my nose as I live right down the street and never noticed them before. First time here. I was looking for a home style breakfast and I was not disappointed. I was warmly greeted by Carlos as I entered from the parking lot. He had a fabulous smile and a caring disposition. I immediately felt like I was coming home for a meal - thanks Carlos. I took a seat at the counter and right away was greeted by Kelly. She brought me their specials and had an upbeat positive vibe of fun. Carlos brought me some hot tea to start my morning off and it hit the spot, just right. I ordered the 2x2x2 special (2 eggs, 2 sausage or bacon, and 2 hotcakes). I threw in a side of hash browns to complete my cravings and all tasted fantastic! I could barely blink and my plates were served fresh and warm. Thanks to the great chefs. There is such a warm, comfortable atmosphere to just eat and enjoy. Have been searching for a spot that serves authentic menudo with pata (cow foot) every day and have not found one until now. Their menudo was so delicious, the broth had just the right amount of seasonings, hominy was nice and tender, the meat was tender and not chewy, like most places. The portion was also great, even though I had it to go, it was a lot. The one drawback was that the tortillas were store bought. Would be better if they served hand made tortillas. Another great find in Jurupa Valley off Mission Boulevard. Brings back the nostalgic atmosphere of an American Family Diner. Breakfast was great, French Toast and eggs were the bomb. Breakfast Burrito is huge! And delicious. The four stars is due to the menudo being just so, so but is to be expected for an American Diner. I did want to give it a try though. Our server was fantastic! and had to love her over easy egg earrings. It's also nice to find a place where pricing is reasonable. If you're looking for a good breakfast diner give this place a try. This place is amazing and they would've received 5 stars if it wasn't for this one lady. My husband and I have been coming here for breakfast for sometime now and everyone is really nice and welcoming. However today when we came in an older lady greeted us very nice to us and served us our coffee. My husband let her know that we were ready to order the nice lady mentioned to us that she'll have our waitress take our order. She never came to take our order although she was almost in-front of us. The nice older lady noticed and asked if she had taken our order and of course we told her that nobody has taken our order. We ended up ordering from the older nice lady, however when my husband needed his coffee refilled we asked her and she was rude refilling it and even spilled some of it. She ignored us all the time we were there and when I asked for my refill for my coffee she took her time to serve my coffee and when she did she brought our ticket and just slammed it on the table. I've been coming here for years, although it has been a couple since I've been back! I brought my dad here a couple weeks ago and he loved it. He had the chorizo and eggs plate and I had the country fried steak special. Country fried steak is my go-to breakfast order and no one makes it like Riviera. The same little ladies work there that have been there forever and I think they're all sweet. It's definitely an old school type of breakfast spot, decorated with photos of regulars over the years, and some James Dean and Marilyn Monroe photos. The last time we stopped by, I wasn't thrilled, the service was lacking, and the waitress seemed rude. I didn't want to go back, but my husband wanted to try their lunch, which we never have.
