I have been to a few of the Yard House locations and have never had a bad experience at any of them. I am a beer drinker so their wide selection of beers on tap is a major draw for me. The food is usually very good too. The parking at this location is a little problematic. There are so many spots surrounding the restaurant that you really have to compete for parking spaces. The mall may benefit by building parking garages so that they can fit more cars in without having people walk a mile. The restaurant itself has a upscale sports bar feel. There are TV's around so that you can watch the games that are going on. I was there for happy hour and they have some reduced prices on drinks and half price apps. I had the poke nachos which were really good. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Overall I will say that the service seemed a little slow however. It took time for our drinks to get out and for food to arrive even though it wasn't particularly full since it was mid week. I came here for lunch on a Wednesday. The place was empty! Like maybe 4 parties were there. And the service was still pretty slow for how empty it was. We started off with guac and chips. The guac was very good. The chips were really oily tho. I ended up ordering the Nashville hot chicken sandwich with a side of truffle fries. Great casual dining. Wonderful variety of food to choose from. It even had vegan options, a big plus. I hade a poke bowl and my husband had Jambalaya. We were not disappointed. Ordered the poke nachos to start and it was delicious. We had the classic cheeseburger with fries, Caesar kale salad with Shrimp, and jambalaya with spicy rice. All cooked to perfection. Best happy hour specials! They have half off their appetizers from 4-6!! Tables are socially distanced, staff wear mask, hand sanitizers at the entrance and scannable menus. It's one of the better chain restaurants I must say, its a pretty big restaurant, lots of seating and a menu with a lot of variety. I had a good experience once but since then it's been consistently ok, food and service wise. The front staff is nice but most of the waiters aren't that friendly, rather they give off apathetic vibes. I started with a four roses old fashioned, this was probably the worst old fashioned I've ever had, even my friends agreed. I also ordered a yuzu gin cooler, and it was horrible, it tasted like floor cleaner. It was disappointing considering I payed about 10 dollars for each , I wouldve gotten something else. For food, the chicken tenders are solid. The mac and cheese bites are also good I recommend these two. I've tried to mu shu egg rolls and those are also quite good. I once got the Lobster mac and cheese and it was the worst mac and cheese I have ever had in my life, do not get this.The burgers are also solid, not bad but not amazing. Got a table outside as it was pretty busy inside and we were trying to enjoy the nice Miami "winter" lol we had Nick as our server. Felt like he didn't pass by as much to check on us until the end. We went during happy hour and he disappeared towards the end with our 2nd order of drinks and blamed it on a new bartender. Sadly we couldn't put in our 3rd drink order because it was 6:07 PM. Mind you when he dropped off the 2nd order he said he'd be back for last call so we could put in our 3rd drink order since the system only allows you to put one drink at a time per person. The food was fond of disappointing. We ordered poke nachos and asked for no Serrano chiles and when he brought them out he said they gave you the wrong order and added the chiles but just eat around them. Since the order took so long to come out in the first place we did just that but as the customer, I asked for one thing and you brought me another one. There's a reason why I ordered no chiles. The sliders were basic. Nothing special. And we did order boneless wings with an Asian sauce, sweet chili or something like that, and it was drowned in sauce and was too pungent. He noticed after the host brought up to the table that my hubby was holding our honey waiting for the high chair we asked and he brought it immediately. He was super attentive to our orders. The service here was prompt and the food was extremely fresh. Although I ordered the grill cheese and tomato soup that was scrumptious. The grill cheese was served on artisan bread and prepared with several types of cheeses that pair very well. The cheeses were gooey and stretchy. The soup was hot, chunky, rich and flavorful. ( flavor town) The atmosphere here is very fun with tons of fresh brewed beers. I will be back to visit this establishment in the near future for some more great food. read more

Going from a YardHouse in Atlanta, Georgia to this one, I was expecting what I got from there, here. Walking in, my boyfriend and I were already drenched from the wonderful South Florida weather. The hostess at the front felt so bad for us that she provided us with towels and paper towel to try and dry off in the cold restaurant. The great service from the hostess was really the great costumer service we received during our whole dinner, as the rest was just ok. Our waiter didn't really have a personally when helping us so we were getting the vibe of "I hate my job and I don't want to be here." My boyfriend got the jambalaya w/ crawl fish and chicken. The minute you take a bite of this meal, you got a mouth full of this fishy flavor with very little seasoning. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken and I was very disappointed taking that first bite. The chicken wasn't actually spicy at all but very bland and super greasy. The only good part was the sweet potato pancakes that were on the side because they were super sweet and just a very different side to eat with this that went well. I happen to love the Yard House and have been to several locations in the U.S. I always enjoy the ambiance and appreciate the outdoor setting at some of these restaurants. The food is always consistently delicious - imo. I've tried many dishes but must say I'm addicted to their Spicy Tuna Roll which is absolutely scrumptious (especially since their isn't any rice in this roll, they always ask if you've had it before as this version is unique). My rating is based on the fact I went there with the wrong expectations. This is not the place to go have a meal where you can have a peaceful conversation. In and out. A couple of friends recommended this place for the food and the beer. I agree the beer selection makes it a great place when looking to celebrate and have fun with a bunch of friends. There were a few groups there and were doing great. By having a few beers they probably didn't mind the wait to be served and paying more for good but not exceptional food like tacos. I enjoy the vibe in the restaurant and they're always playing great rock music. They have some good happy hour deals from 3-6 like half off select appetizers and $2 off beers. I usually avoid the Sawgrass Mills like the plague because the parking is terrible and it is way too touristy for me even though I live only 2 miles away. I needed to get a gift at the Bose store and being it was near dinner hour, we decided to try Yard House for dinner. We have been to other Yard Houses in the past but it had been a while. Well...I am a big fan for a few reasons. We sat at the bar and there was plenty of seating. We ordered an appetizer and sneaked in on the last few minutes of Happy Hour discounted pricing. The bartenders work as a team and they were all very nice. We ordered our dinner meals and they were great. I really have to rave over their Nashville Hot Chicken Dinner which is a featured item. OMG, it was amazing. It was fried with a very light batter and not oily at all. The hot chili oil came on the side along with ranch dressing but I just poured a little over it and it was the best. Spicy but not crazy hot. The star of the plate is the 3 pancakes that came with a sweet hot syrup. These were not ordinary pancakes. They were like breakfast pancakes made out of sweet potato batter with cinnamon and just the right amount of sweetness. I cared that the calorie count was posted next to the item on the menu and felt a little guilty until I took my first bite and thought that I could throw caution to the wind and order this again and again! I couldn't finish my portion but that is okay because it was calling me for breakfast this morning. They have a pretty big menu with a lot of variety in diet needs as well as prices. Being that they are named Yard House, they serve beer in pints, goblets, 1/2 yards and I think whole yards but didn't see anyone drinking a beer that big. They have many many beers on tap to choose from and if you knew that this location used to be a billiards hall with an upstairs, now that is where they store the hundreds of kegs in a giant cooler room. read more

Great bar to watch a game or catch happy hour. Apps were great and portions were huge. The beer list is impressive and the fact that they have local or make your own flights is great. The Yard Stick is a tall order to drink but if you pick a good beer it's well worth it. TVs everywhere and a nice place to escape the crowds of Sawgrass. This has become my go-to sports bar every time I visit Sunrise. read more
