I came to Batch after finding it on Yelp, so happy I did. They have nice decor inside and outside, music playing while dining. We had deviled eggs, shrimp n grits (yum yum), bbq pork sliders were delicious and they were large sliders. Chicken n waffles, they were very light and airy, not thick. Our waiter was great. We really enjoyed this place so we went back the next day. Our waitress Devin was attentive and helpful with our order. I spoke with the co-owner Jerry, he was a sweetheart. I would definitely recommend eating here. Everything was amazing . I told Jerry we need a Batch in NYC

Love the unlimited drink special so that's a plus. The service was really good, but the food left a bit to be desired. Had the burnt ends app and they took the burnt part to heart, they were extremely tough but the sauce wasn't bad. But the burger was pretty good.

OMG... the food is SO good. I had the chicken and waffles, the fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, paired with warm, buttery waffles. Just chef's kiss. The appetizers were just as good. The deviled eggs were fresh and full of flavor, and that cinnamon roll situation? Amazing. Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe was on point. We sat outside with nice music playing in the background, which made it feel really lively and fun. This might honestly be my favorite brunch spot in South Florida. I'll definitely be back.

We love Batch! We visited as a large party of 6 and were quickly sat. Our server was amazing! She was quick and attentive. Of course, we ordered our favorite menu item, the biscuits! Absolutely get them with the butter and jam they come with, it's amazing!

I'm so happy to say that Batch is still serving up some of the best food and drinks in the Fort Lauderdale area! Their happy hour is second to none my only issue is that I don't live closer because I know without a doubt I'd be there even more! Recently went for happy hour with some friends to celebrate my birthday. It was a beautiful evening so we decided to sit outside. I couldn't have had a better time and the owner Kevin and manager Jerry made it such a memorable experience not only for me but for my friends as well. For drinks we had wine, Blackberry Bourbon Lemonades and New Southern Mules. I can't forget to mention the DELICIOUS pecan whiskey shots, omg, soooo good!! Apps included their amazing melt in your mouth biscuits, deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, homemade bacon tots, bbq pork sliders and Southern hummus. Everything was enjoyed by everyone but rookie move.. .we didn't save enough room for dinner. Thankfully most of our party had eaten dinner there on previous visits so we knew how great the food is. Dessert was a delicious apple bread pudding and a chocolate tart that was so good that I'm still thinking of it. One of the highlights of our visit was meeting and getting the chance to talk with one of the managers, Jerry. He was just the most gracious and engaging person to talk with and a real asset to the Batch family. I can't wait to go there again and I suggest you check out their website to stay up to date with all the great events they have going on!

The food was spot on. Exactly what I expected from burnt ends for sure. Also got the grilled peach burrata. Expected warm bread but it was still good. I took a star away for service. Specifically our server, Louie. He seemed nervous from the start. Took our order but not the menus with such a small table it was definitely uncomfortable having so many different menus around. . My daughter sat around for 10 mins waiting for ketchup. We watched him take orders from two tables next to us before he even came back to say I'll go ahead and get that ketchup for you. Everyone knows kids won't touch their food until they get what they need. Cold food was still enjoyed. Not sure I'll be back but it was decent.

Ambiance 5/5 Customer service...hard to say, will get back to that Flavors also hit/miss I would go here for craft cocktails and an app on a date for sure! 100% My problem is that I have some food challenges and when I asked to substitute the potatoes on my meal for a double veggie I was told no and had to buy the $7 veggie side instead. It's not even a big side dish, it was two stems of broccolini. My friend ordered the espresso martini that says it's garnished with toasted marshmallow but it came with no marshmallow. When she inquired from our server the server said they were out. When the owner came by to check on us we asked about the garnish, and he came back with toasted marshmallow. He also brought their house made apple fireball shots and handed them out indiscriminately which is nice and all, but those of us who declined he was pushy for us to take. The egg rolls were good, but the food runner just dropped them on the table so harshly that ranch was all over my bag, the chair, the menu and the table which she made no effort to fix. I didn't feel heard when I asked for me vegetable substitute, the server just said no starch swaps for veggies. I told her I couldn't eat them and she shrugged at me. Eventually I said to just bring the potatoes since I had to pay for them anyway and I would give them to a friend. The deviled eggs were a weird texture. I eat eggs, lots of eggs, lots of ways. Something about the egg white portion of this deviled eggs was off. It was oddly rubber. Don't recommend. My flat iron coffee rubbed steak was the highlight! The asparagus side was nothing special just plain grilled asparagus. But boy, that coffee rubbed steak was phenomenal. I asked for medium but closer to medium rare than medium well and that's what I got, although the server seemed like she had a hard time deciding how to tell the kitchen that, but it did work out! To drink I had their sangria called hillbilly 75, and while it was ok, I won't have that again either.

I choose to go here after getting in from the airport with my sister & brother in law for dinner. My sister has been several times for lunch/brunch. The food was good but quite cold, had it been served warm or even luke warm it would have been even better. It was quite empty for a Thursday evening. The cocktails are yummy & I appreciate that they make all of their own liquids, mixers, etc. for their cocktails. Overall I'd go back to try their brunch!

Made a 10:30 AM reservation for three the morning after Halloween (it could've gone either way, dead or slammed ) but since it was my mom's birthday, I didn't want to chance it. It turned out to be the perfect fall day! We parked easily in the FREE garage next door (up to four hours!) and were seated right away at a shaded outdoor table. We had two servers who were phenomenal , so attentive that even my mom, who rarely comments on service, couldn't stop praising them. She ordered an unsweetened iced tea (which many places still manage to mess up, especially since she's diabetic) and they got it right. My boyfriend had a Bloody Mary and said it was spot on. I had planned to order a peach Bellini, but our server suggested the Hillbilly instead, and it completely changed my life. Light, crisp, crushed ice, and the perfect touch of sweetness. My new favorite brunch drink, hands down. My mom and I both ordered the pulled pork eggs Benedict. As someone with a severe dairy allergy (not intolerance), my options were limited, but our server immediately acknowledged that the menu is pork heavy and not especially allergen friendly, so I appreciated her honesty. She helped me navigate substitutions right away. I really wanted the chicken and waffles, but the cheddar waffle and chili butter were a no go. My boyfriend went for the biscuits and gravy, he loved it and cleaned the plate. Everything here is made from scratch, so food and drinks take a bit longer, but the vibe makes it worth it. the music playlist was amazing, and between the fall breeze, outdoor seating, and all the cute dogs being walked nearby, it couldn't have been better. We even grabbed a dinner menu to plan our next visit. When our food arrived, everything looked and tasted fantastic. Mine was delicious ...maybe too delicious and I started to worry something wasn't right. I ate around the pork and focused on my potatoes until I could double check. When our server returned, I asked about the tots, and she realized there was cheddar in them. You could see her heart sink, but she handled it with such grace and care. I reassured her that it was ultimately my responsibility as the patron, and thankfully I caught it in time, just needed my inhaler, no EpiPen. The manager came over immediately, genuinely concerned and kind. They comped my dish, brought over a complimentary peach Bellini, and even offered to remake it to go (which I sadly had to decline since we weren't heading home). Their empathy and professionalism turned a scary moment into a testament of excellent service. We'll absolutely be back, next time for bottomless Hillbillies and those burnt ends!!

Went to the one in fort Lauderdale for brunch, the food was really good. I had the chicken and waffles with scrambled eggs on the side. They make everything from scratch so if you want hot sauce that's extra charge because they make that to. The servers were all nice it's a good vibe for a brunch spot the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. I will be back to try more of their food.

Brunch at Batch New Southern Kitchen & Tap (Fort Lauderdale). There were a few people dining in the outside patio and inside the restaurant upon my arrival, but believe me, tables started to fill up as the minutes went by. It was a beautiful sunny morning, yet I opted to dine inside (preferably at the bar) with the cool A/C and casual atmosphere. Zachary, the bartender, was so chill, funny, and attentive with the patrons. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu and helped in making a food or drink choice if you were indecisive. I redeemed a $10 bottomless cocktail offer I got from a Yelp event at the restaurant and also placed an order for a veggie frittata. The cocktail I started with was the Bellini, which was light and refreshing. I was very impressed with the presentation of the veggie frittata; served with crispy potatoes and was made perfectly with red bell peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms - absolutely delicious! Since Zachary informed me that I can switch up the cocktails, I also tried the ginger-peach white sangria and cherry-apple red sangria. They both were unique in taste, however, I favored the white sangria more. For a sweet dessert, I had some glazed & confused donuts. I chose the Elvis; two soft donuts with a sweet banana cream filling, topped with a thick, delicious peanut butter cream and sliced bananas. I managed to finish one of them as I had my last cocktail, a crisp tasting Mimosa. Leaving full & satisfied, Batch delivers an enjoyable brunch atmosphere with well-prepared food and tasty cocktails. Note: for parking, there's limited pay street parking along NE 5th Ave/Ter, as well as limited free 4-hours retail parking on the first two levels at The Manor garage.

Great service and ambience. Food came quick. Biscuits were really awesome. Brisket itself didn't taste smoked or have much flavor. Eggs were kind of tough which was weird. Smashed potatoes were cold but they got me a fresh order which was awesome. Reccomend the place for overall experience.

There's a vibe here that's hard to put into words -- it feels elevated but not pretentious. They had a DJ going and it perfectly complemented the energy without being overwhelming. We sat with the bartender AB that immediately greeted us with waters and their menu. They are currently running a pick 2 for $15.99 menu that has some pretty great options. We had 2 meals & chose the wings, blackened shrimp po boy with the small gumbo's. Wings were super crispy, juicy, and tender. With a nice light Smokey taste. They buffalo and blue cheese sauce was actually pretty impressive. The po boy had a good amount of shrimp to bread ratio, with a nice sauce included. The gumbo had a deep rich flavor, but was not overly heavy with fatty meats. We were also informed of the happy hour oyster special, so we ended up getting a few of the rockerfella and raw. The rockerfella was amazing with melty cheese, a nice garlic flavor, & served with crispy bread slices. The raw came with crackers, lemon, wine vinegar, and a tasty cocktail sauce. Both were delicious. Marco, the manager came and spoke with us about our experience which really showed the attention to detail this restaurant offers. After sharing our story of visiting New Orleans a few years ago and bragging about the beignets, he brought us 2 out to finish our meal. I have to say, these were better than the ones I've had at cafe beignet in NOLA. They were HOT out the fryer to the point where the powdered sugar was slightly melted. Crisp outside dough but gooey soft in the center. A unreal experience to end a fantastic meal. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Luckily my sister lives 5 mins from this place but I would easily drive a hour or 2 when visiting from out of town just for this experience. Marco and AB really went above and beyond to make sure this was a special outing on a regular ole' Monday, and we could not have left happier.

After seriously underestimating the Florida heat and walking a mile and a half to Voodoo, the…read moreexperience was worth every step. From the moment we walked in, the welcome was freakin' awesome. The New Orleans vibe was absolutely on point and set the tone for a great meal. Our waitress was fantastic--friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu. She recommended her favorite dish, and it ended up becoming my favorite too. Now, I'm a country boy, so the deviled eggs just weren't my style, but everything else more than made up for it. The cornbread was incredible. Honestly, I couldn't decide if I was eating cake or cornbread--it was that good. The barbecue shrimp was outstanding and easily one of my favorite dishes (our waitress clearly has great taste!). The fried oysters were cooked to perfection, and the baked chicken was seasoned and prepared just right. The gator tail was great with the sauce. I've had scalloped potatoes many times over the years, but these were on another level--definitely some for the record books. If you're looking for great food, an authentic New Orleans atmosphere, and excellent service, Voodoo is absolutely worth the visit.
