Giardino is one of my go-to spots when I want something fresh and simple that still feels like a real meal. This time around I had the Caesar salad with salmon dip. The romaine was crisp and cold, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The salmon dip was the highlight for me. It was smooth, flavorful, and not overly fishy. It paired really well with the salad and made it feel a bit more filling without being heavy. My wife had the tropical chicken sandwich. She loved it! The chicken was super tasty, and the tropical flavors added a nice sweet and savory mix. The pillowy sandwich bread held up perfectly and didn't get soggy, which made every bite delightful. CRISPY GREEN APPLES... My wife told me about this healthy eatery in the Sunrise area which she has tried before although this will be my first visit. Directly in front of the business is a tight parking lot since shared by several other restaurants. The healthy food options are vibrant and fresh in appearance separated along the display table. The two women quickly greeted us and I placed my order of a Parisian Wrap which consisted of lettuce, veggies and fruits for $11.00 with an added protein of turkey for $3.00. Due to the strong scent of bleach we sat on the outside covered patio. I loved that they actually cleaned the store although should have been done the last hour of service. The bathroom was extremely clean with basic decor. My wrap was not large but strangely filled me up. Each bite provided a crunch of the crispy fresh sweet green apple chunks. Came to grab a salad quickly and I got the Thai Thai with the ginger and spicy peanut dressing. It was delicious. Paired it with the fire roasted chicken and I was full till dinner. Every time I've been here everything looks clean and the employees are very friendly. I order - My way wrap - You get to choose your type of tortilla, base, 4 toppings, dressing and you can add protein at a 2.99 up charge. I choose the spinach tortilla, spinach base, turmeric cauliflower, roasted broccoli, beets and carrot. My favorite dressings are the creamy avocado (a bit spicy), creamy curry or caeser. I always add chicken. I enjoy this wrap. 4/5 ($12.99) My only issue with this place is I feel the portions are so small especially for the price. I feel it would make more sense to have more or unlimited choices for regular toppings and perhaps a choice of 2 premium toppings for pricier toppings at the same price. Also the chicken add on seems very small. Regardless, it's still a good spot. The food is always fresh and it's nice to have healthy option for lunch. They're definitely worth a try. read more

My first time checking into this location.I have always praised how good their salads are but was kinda disappointed in this visit. Because upon checking in a coupon popped up to get 10% off. However it was expired from 2017...and the cashier wouldnt honor it even though i showed that it was just given to me. They shouldnt have an old expired coupon populating for a new check in and should be more accountable for that since its their error. Even though 10% is not much, for me its the principle and I pay attention to how companies provide solutions to customer concerns. Because whats the point...I think they should have honored it to just show good customer service. Also when asking for extra dressing the lady almost didnt want to give it to me. This is an excellent place to get salads and wraps. We've been getting take out here for the past year and have to say that the ingredients are always fresh and of high quality and the staff super friendly. They have very filling portions and I honestly can't figure out why anyone would pass this place for the Panera next door. We LOVE the Mama Mia salad! While searching for lunchtime options near the office, I happened upon Giardino's. As I looked at the ingredients, they appeared to be fresh so I was in. I perused the wall mounted menu and found several salads that sounded good. I decided on the Thai with curry turkey. This was a great choice. My lunch partner went with the chef salad and it looked very good too. The servings were very generous (small size) and we had the option to make adjustments during the build. The person helping me was very pleasant and patient with me as I asked several questions. We were early for the lunch rush so there was no wait and most tables were open. As we ate, the line grew and tables filled. This is definitely a popular lunch spot. I have been to Giardino's on many occassions. They have ample front and rear parking in the shopping center. Upon walking in, you notice the modern setup, cleaniness, and friendly staff. Their salad board has full descriptions of each and every salad (or a make your own is an option), or you can even get the salad tucked into a wrap. I've had the Mama Mia, Greek Village, K & Q, and Fizz. All of these salads are really good. It is a salad line, so you can easily add or remove ingredients to your liking. All ingredients are fresh and crisp and delicious! At the end you can choose which protein you would like to add, if any. The curry turkey is delicious, and I've also had the tropical chicken. Nice spice/sauce blend for both of these proteins, and such a nice treat to have different options than other surrounding restaurants who serve no spice/sauce on their proteins. After that, you are given the option of what kind of crouton you would like. My absolute favorite is the pita chips, and in second are the plantain chips.  Giardino's also has a cooler stocked full of canned and bottled beverages. There is not fountain beverages available. Ample dining inside and outside. The staff are as friendly as can be. I have been here on multiple occasions since it's right by my work, and not once have I come across a rude or unfriendly staff member. Pablo, the manager/owner, is very attentive to both his staff and his customers! I have also ordered catering from Giardino's - salad and wraps. Everyone loved the wraps! They have four different wrap flavors and they put each protein in a different wrap so that my meeting guests would know which wrap was which. They also offer soup. I have had the broccoli cheddar which is good. I haven't tried any of the others. July 15th they had their re-Grand Opening. It was awesome! They offered a free tshirt to anyone who purchased a salad, or a small sampling of their Mama Mia salad. I saw their other grand opening, which was similar. Both had very good turn outs! When I checked in a 10% off coupon popped up so I showed it to the cashier and he said that it expired in December (weird that it still came up) and he showed me the expiration date on the offer, but he said that he would honor it anyway. Amazing doesn't even begin to describe how the food and service is here. I want to thank the staff and manager Pablo for being so fantastic with my catering order I placed last minute. I usually just order lunch for myself but when my company asked me to find a catering for today's luncheon I knew who to call! We had a little of everything. I ordered two large reunion salads of Geek Village (which was outstanding!) and mama Mia (a big hit in the office as well) I also ordered a large Caesar salad wrap platter, two large boccata platters (tropical chicken and curry turkey) with a small platter of salmon capperi) the tropical chicken is by far my favorite! It goes amazing with their soft, sweet and very tasty potato rolls; also with a salad or wrap! The salmon was a big hit as well! It took about 20 minutes for all the food to be done! I gets very busy during lunch time but the food is definitely worth it! It'll leave you feeling very satisfied without any of the guilt. I used to eat at Giardino's on a consistent basis when I lived close to the Doral location and I was pumped when I saw a sign they were coming to my new hood. I dropped in for lunch and was excited to see they were busy! A couple of things haven't done well in this location...so I'm rooting for them to break the curse. This is a salad/wrap/sandwich spot and great for a healthy(ish) lunch. You can build your own or go with one of the creations they have. I always go with the Greek wrap - it's excellent. I add in some tropical chicken for the protein (extra charge). Overall it's a little pricy, but you'd expect that from anywhere healthy(ish). However, there did seem to be some confusion. I wanted to get a wrap, and that was super easy to order, but my lunch date got the small sandwiches - and they didn't explain how small they actually were. Really small. So we got two. The chicken salad one was alright, but I didn't try the other one. My wrap was good - and similar to how I remember them being in Doral. The staff just wasn't on their A-game this day and it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Aside from the person that took our order being a little lost and offering no guidance, I waited for my wrap. And waited. And waited. And checked what was up and was told it was coming right up. Then I waited. At this point she was digging into her sandwiches and I was just waiting. Finally I went up again and they handed it over to me. First time at this location. We walked in at noon on a Sunday and we were the only ones there. The staff greeted us right away and were ready to help. The restaurant is clean and spacious. I ordered the caesar salad wrap with chicken. Now here is why I am giving three stars and not five. The food was fresh and delicious. However, I wanted chicken added to my wrap and there is an extra charge of $1.50. I think this is excessive considering the amount of chicken needed for a wrap. My boyfriend ordered a small caesar salad and also wanted chicken added so there went another $1.50. He asked for red peppers to be added to his salad and there was yet ANOTHER charge. The food tasted great and was definitely homemade and fresh, but the extra charges are ridiculous. We spent just under $20 for a wrap and salad.
