I went to at least one or two places before I found Yasmin's shop. And, I like that she's a dedicated Seamstress and not trying to do laundry and everything else. Yasmin was very professional. She actually set up a time for me to come in so she could measure my pants that needed hemming. I bought a really nice pair of velvet black pants from Express but for some reason the regular size was just too long. Yasmin did a nice job hemming them up to just the right length. Earlier this year, I was in a tight spot and had to replace a bridesmaids dress I previously bought just one month before the wedding. When I got my dress in the mail, I was immediately nervous about it because it was nearly two feet too long on me and just a bit loose and I had less than a month to find someone who could alter it with care and precision, and quickly. I reached out to a few businesses, none of which got back to me in a timely manner; but I knew my situation was not great either. When I reached out to Yasmin, she was so nice and accommodating with no judgement, and she was so quick! We met, we got the dress fitted to how I liked it, and she had it done perfectly only a week later! I was so surprised, and beyond ecstatic. She did SUCH a wonderful job, and I was able to feel amazing alongside everyone else without worrying about my dress not fitting right. I am a very self-conscious person, and Yasmin helped give me the opportunity to not care and feel beautiful, at least for a day. You're gonna want to hire her! Yasmin has helped me with multiple projects. The first being my bridesmaid dress. Fast, affordable, great fit. The second project was: my besties bridesmaid dress. Fun fact: my bestie is 7 months pregnant and the first professional alteration company charged $$$ for a pretty disappointing job. Yasmin had 4 days to alter the dress WITHOUT EVEN A FITTING! Yup. You read that right. Essentially with the use of our measurements, pictures, and sketches, she worked magic and crafted a beautiful dress. I'm sure she would kindly request to not make her do this ever again but seriously hat a Wonder Woman! She went above and beyond and was gracious and poised with every obnoxious demand that we had.
