Theresa worked up sketches and painstakingly deconstructed the dress with an incredible attention to detail (she saved the individual lace flowers to reattach in the same pattern). She asked my preferences and permission every step of the way, knowing it was a treasured family heirloom. I could not be happier with how the dress turned out, and she so thoughtfully displayed it on a mannequin with bows once it was ready! I can't recommend Theresa enough. I had about 13 items, including comforters. While the prices are a bit higher than what you might find in a larger city, I understand that I'm now in a smaller area and expect that. Honestly, I have no complaints. Everything came back in perfect condition--clean, pressed, and honestly in better shape than when I dropped it off. That kind of consistency and care really matters. I purchased a mens dress shirt that needed to be brought in a few inches to give it a more modern fit. I spoke to Marla at about noon and setup a 1:30 afternoon appointment. She spent some time (maybe 5 minutes?) getting the proper fit and making sure I had a full range of motion. Once I approved of the fit she assured me that she could match the stitching perfectly and that she'd be deconstructing both sides of the shirt so that there was no ugly overlapping stitches. I expected this to take a few days, nope. It was ready 5 hours later for pickup. It cost $26, cash only, and was totally worth it. The fit on the shirt is perfect, the stitching looks like it came from the factory. Marla was transparent on her process, affordable, and the work is top notch. I'll be back with a few more shirts!
