It was Saturday afternoon 90 degrees and I had no idea who to call. I found Greenlight electric on Yelp, no reviews but close to our house. He came out on his day off, made several phone calls and had the right people out there within hours to fix the break. Talk about a great team! Called LG&E and had us back on before the sun went down. I can't even begin to say how awesome they all did. On top of everything, the price was 100% fair, not some crazy overpriced amount. We now have an electrician and they now have a review of 5 stars that they completely deserve!!! Thanks again!

I called after-hours, thinking I'd get voicemail and leave a message and wait for a call back, but to my surprise, someone picked up who, despite it being late, took my call politely and professionally. He asked me to text details so he could send someone out the next day, so I did. Then, first thing the next morning, I get a call that someone is on their way. I also needed some wiring fixed in another room, so I asked about that, and it was taken care of on the same visit. After a total of just an hour and a half, both things were completed and at a very reasonable price. I have a few other things on my list to take care of at some point in the future, and I'll definitely be calling these folks back.

Gets the job done and doesn't talk down to me. I feel lucky…read moreto have always had good service from Tom Drexler, both for large and small projects and service calls. I had a major MAJOR issue and repair several years back that they fixed, quickly addressed and within a couple days, rather than the couple weeks I was quoted by other providers. The costs across the several providers as I was getting quotes were all within a couple hundred dollars of each other (for a project known to cost more than $6k) but Drexler was also able to schedule it and get it done within the week. It was done quickly and well. And I have used them for most of my HVAC and plumbing concerns ever since. They have tried to up-sell me every time they come. But that is honestly something I have come to expect everywhere. They don't argue with me or push harder after I decline, though. Most of the time they speak to ME, the solitary female homeowner, but a couple times I've been asked if I need to call in my "husband" or other male partner when discussing specifics and money, which will SET ME OFF. Even if there is a male partner in the picture or in the house, it is MY HOUSE. You've been dealing with me the whole time, continue to do so. I will address it in the moment and make it awkward. But that has been the minority of the time. Still, it's gotta be called out. When I do correct, they roll with it and give me the nitty gritty. I feel established and generally well taken care of with Tom Drexler, so I will remain a customer unless something egregious happens.

Tony K. did a couple of…read morehandyman jobs like replacing toilet ring, tightening front door closing, and hot water tank replacement. Every task had to be re-fixed by a professional. Please don't pay him before the job is done. We allowed him to talk us into allowing him to replace our vinyl siding at a home remodel that we're planning on moving into. He assured us that it would be him and a guy or two. Tony said he would be there everyday. He never would show up to the hpuse except to pay the two hispanic guys. The guys ended up using white caulk and taking the clear caulk, that we purchased for the project. It was brought Tony's attention and he lied and said in a couple of hours the white caulk will turn clear. It was taken from the job site. We actually purchased the multiple tubes of clear caulk, ourselves, along with all of the needed supplies. It looks awful. We'll end up having to rip up the caulk and replace it all with clear caulk. Tony begged and begged us to pay him half and total cost everyday even though we bought all the materials amd the job was not complete. We finally paid Tony after his pity speech. The siding job is still not finished. He still refuses to finish the siding, in writing. We're still debating what next steps we'll take. Please do not trust Tony Kaelin, Anthony Kaelin, Kaelin Property Solutions (card he gave us).

Since this directly affected my tenant, I needed the repair handled quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. I reached out to both Maeser Master Services and Dauenhauer Plumbing while trying to get the issue resolved. After comparing the estimate I received from Maeser with the final paid invoice from Dauenhauer, Dauenhauer ultimately earned my business. Their price came in a couple hundred dollars less, and I appreciated that I did not have to sign up for a monthly membership just to receive a better price on an immediate repair that needed to be handled right away. Dauenhauer replaced the old unit with a new 40 gallon gas water heater, and the process was straightforward from start to finish. The work was completed, the issue was resolved, and my tenant was taken care of. Overall, I was happy with the service, the pricing, and the completed replacement. Out with the old, in with the new. I would use Dauenhauer again for future plumbing needs.

Property Damage Caused by Improper Installation of Emergency Sump Pump…read moreI am filing this complaint against Dauenhauer Plumbing regarding significant water damage to my basement that appears to have been caused by the improper installation of my emergency (secondary) sump pump by their company. On Sunday, March 8, 2026, I noticed that my main sump pump was running continuously without shutting off, which was abnormal. Because I had a newer emergency (secondary) sump pump installed as a backup, I unplugged the main pump to prevent possible damage and contacted Dauenhauer Plumbing to schedule an inspection for the following day. On Monday, March 9, 2026, at approximately 8:30 a.m., I heard an unusual sound coming from the sump pump area in my basement. When I investigated, I discovered water forcefully discharging from piping connected to what appeared to be the emergency (secondary) sump pump system. I immediately contacted Dauenhauer Plumbing, and a plumber arrived within approximately 30 minutes and stopped the water flow. According to the plumber who responded, the emergency (secondary) sump pump had been installed incorrectly. He also stated that he found nothing wrong with the main sump pump. He initially believed the discharge line might be clogged and cut the exterior line to inspect it, but there was no standing water in the discharge line. The plumber then stated that he believed the underground discharge line might be broken and offered to arrange excavation. Instead, I suggested a temporary above-ground discharge solution to move water away from the foundation. The plumber went to Lowe's, purchased flexible piping, returned, connected it, charged me for the materials and labor, and then left. As a result of this incident, my basement sustained water damage, including: Basement flooring saturated with water Drywall/sheetrock wet Insulation wet Possible defect or damage to the main sump pump I have photographs and video of the incident and damage. I have also contacted my homeowner's insurance company, State Farm, and they advised me to begin emergency mitigation with PuroFirst. That process is currently underway. I have made multiple attempts to contact management at Dauenhauer Plumbing regarding this matter and have not received a return call or meaningful response. Given the seriousness of the damage and the fact that their own plumber acknowledged the emergency sump pump had been installed incorrectly, this lack of response is unacceptable.
