Brilliant!! Amazing!!! Incredible!!! I left the Apple store feeling so defeated- hearing there wasn't much they could do after my 10 year old spilled lemonade all over our MacBook Pro and closed it without telling us...for two days!! By the time we opened it for online school Monday it was fried! The liquid, plus the sugar, plus the acid from the lemons... disaster!! It was old (2012-14 ish) and unless I wanted to send it out and pay thousands for them to "try"to fix it- I was better served to just get a new one. As I sulked back to my car (that happened to be parked in front of Yea!Mac)... I looked up and saw their sign... I decided to walk in. I figured I didn't have much to lose, and really I just wanted some files that were saved on the desktop... maybe they could help me out. Fast forward a week later, they recovered all the data, replaced the fried logic board, fixed a blown speaker, and even managed to clean all the crumbs and gross things that were wedged in the keyboard after a year of 4th grade distance learning!! It was a fraction of the price the Apple store quoted me... and the computer is running like new!! These guys are legit... so friendly and nice... and will get my business any time we have an e-crisis in the future! read more

Had the 'spinning wheel' on a relatively new desktop Mac. This place is a few blocks from my office so it was an easy choice to bring this particular computer here out of sheer convenience. Discussed with the person at the front what I had going on and what I'd like to upgrade. There were some quite simple yet variable instructions which I had given as well. I forgot to bring the external hard drive I had with me so I told them I'd be back the next day with it so I could avoid having to buy one for them to copy things onto. Well, to my wonderful surprise, they had the whole thing done the next day when they called. Prices I felt could be slightly better, but here's my take; I want to have local, brick & mortar locations in my surroundings. I value that, I'll pay a very slight premium for this. I'm sure that having a local location isn't a cheap proposition, so I'll pay a few bucks more than I would shipping something to someone via the net. The convenience was well worth it. My computer is stupid fast again, my itunes library is able to be enjoyed and literally be music to my ears. Thanks YeaMac! read more

Excellent service! I came in for data recovery, and since there was water damage to the mother board they weren't able to retrieve the data. They did not charge anything for their time, and they referred me to specialists that hopefully will be able to do it. I'm going to bring in a Mac laptop that I'm having trouble with. I brought my Mac book pro to get fixed after using it for over 10 years. Being a Dj, I needed to take all my music to be transferred to my external hard drive. I went by the Apple store in the city, and they said they couldn't fix It. So I decided to pay them a visit. Reggie was at the counter and he was nice enough to help me out. He explained all my options and said he would be able to fix the problem. It was a relief because I was stressed out that I couldn't retrieve all my music. Reggie said the computer transfer would a take a couple of hours. Later that same afternoon he called to say it was ready. Yea!Mac has your back. Great service. Had them replace a tired battery on a 2018 vintage MacBook Pro in April 2022. Fast forward eight months, power management problems (laptop randomly shut down even when the battery indicator showed charged to 55-85% range; wouldn't start up at 85% charge; endless frustration). Called Yea!Mac to troubleshoot over the phone. After describing the situation to the tech and all the failed remedies on my part, he suggested bringing it in to swap out the battery. Turns out it was a faulty battery that prematurely failed. Yea!Mac went to bat for me pushing it back to the manufacturer after eight months. New battery, no charge, no friction. Excellent service experience: Keyboard replacement for 16" 2019 MacBookPro due to wine spill. CleverTech was one of the few shops who actually responded with a quote to me on Yelp. Reasonably priced. Keyboard replaced within 24h, MacBook tested, cleaned, and handed over in a sleeve. Nice in-person service and Apple antiquities from the 80s/90s in the shop. read more

A few things: 1) great customer service, friendly and quick to help 2) I was sent here because a friend send they did great work for her friends MacBook Pro, so I gave it a chance. I got my laptop back today and noticed several new scratches, the laptop case I had on it is now broken in several place, and where they suggested tightening at the fold is now off and has scratch marks from when they, I'm assuming, went to tighten it. It in fact looks like they tightened it too tight on one side because it's not even with the other side. 3) to end on a better note, my new hard drive so far is working so I'm happy with that. I'm just really bummed that I now have to buy a new case and have several new scratches and dents. read more

No one wants to be without their Apple device for more than a few hours. As much as I like the Apple Store for all their help, they're so SLOOOW when it comes to repairing your iPhone, MacBook Pro or iPad. Yea!Mac was so quick and very honest (!!!!) in advising me about repairing my trackpad. I dropped it off around 10:05am and they called me to tell me it was done around 1pm the SAME DAY. Staff couldn't be NICER!!! Super friendly! Happy people who made my day!!! They told me that it could be just a simple cleaning or replacing it. Instead, it was a cable but I was happy to pay more than an inexpensive cleaning. Very reasonable, competitive pricing. Cheaper than a brand new computer. AND, they cleaned the whole thing. I have tried other repair facilities, but YeaMac has them all beat. The staff was very knowledgeable and great to work with. My i mac would not boot up and it was not a software problem. They were able to take me same day I called and they had the work done in 24 hours. I have tried other places but decided to go to YeaMac because of there great reviews and how they talked to me on the phone. YeaMac is actually about 40 minutes from my house, but I would drive over an hour because they are so good. read more

I have been to yea!mac three times and each time I've walked away with confidence that my MacBook Air will run the way it's supposed to The first time, my screen on my MacBook Air was all messed up. I was worried about how much I was going to pay but really needed my laptop for school. I searched around for options and found yea!mac on yelp. Went in and it was cheaper then what the apple store had offered me. I was a bit skeptical since I've never used an outside vendor but I'm glad I did. I gave the my laptop while I went away on vacation since they do need some time to fix it (highly recommend doing that if you're a workaholic like me). I came back and picked it up. It came back to me clean and it's like I never had a broken screen. It's been three years since then and I haven't had trouble with it since then. The second time I went in was because my charger was broken due to wire issues. Instead of paying 100 bucks at the Apple store or ordering online off of some sketchy site (which I have done before), I bought one from yea!mac for wayyyyy cheaper than both options. I think I payed around 40 dollars for it and it works perfectly. The third time I needed my battery replaced and they were having a deal. I was worried about not having my laptop for work but low and behold I called ahead of time asking if they had the battery in store, came in, and got it fixed in an hour. Every time I've come into the store, the employees have been very real with me and aren't trying to sell me more stuff than I need. I was trying to replace my Macbook Air battery during Thanksgiving break in time for finals. Went to the Apple Store originally and was told it would cost $299 with a turn around of 6-8 business days. Great help from Will today!! I initially came in thinking that I would need to repair/replace the logic board on my Macbook Air based off Apple's diagnosis at the genius bar. While it was something simple, I am very thankfully Will was able to figure out that I just needed a new charger. In addition to the help from Will, Ricardo (or whoever manages their Yelp account) is also great as they are extremely responsive. I wish I found these guys years ago....before I tried to follow the DIY videos on YT to replace hard drives in iMacs. I called a month ago, told them my iMac model, they pointed me to the SSDs that would work in it. I bought one and transferred the files over (they offered to do this for me) and then needed an expert to swap drives. No way I'm doing that again. I showed up on a busy Saturday morning without an appointment and was greeted with a super friendly and helpful guy (so sorry I didn't get his name). They took it in and promised to have it by Monday. Perfect. Two hours later I get a call from them, it's done. They asked me to come in to make sure it is working properly....it was/is! Quick Apple Pay and I'm headed home to put my precious iMac back on my desk. The yelp reviews a spot on. This is a first-class business with people who love what they do. An honest and fair estimate of the cost upfront. Service provided in a timely fashion. And all with handshakes, smiles, and a "Thank you for coming in" to top it all off. After my computer crashed and the Mac store wasn't able to recover my data I was devastated! Another data recovery service quoted me $400-$1400 to fix it depend on the extent of hard drive damage and said it would take 8-10 days. Yea!Mac was able to take my hard drive right away and get all of my data back that same afternoon and restored it all onto my new laptop the next day at no additional cost and all for much less than I'd been quoted elsewhere. I needed to get a key cap replaced on my MacBook Pro. Went to We fix Macs first but they didn't really want to do the small job. At CleverTech, Mauricio looked at it and said, sure I can fix that, no problem. I left the computer for 1 hour and he called me when it was done. He charged me 1/3 the cost quoted by We Fix Macs, and he even gave me a nice bag for the Mac. Excellent Service, great pricing and great attitude at CleverTech. I had two super old Macs - one from 2001 and and from around 2003 that I couldn't charge/turn on anymore but there was still data on the computers that I wanted. I asked CleverTech if they could extract the data off of the hard drives for me. A few days later, I had a hard drive with all my old data on it! Well worth the money.
