Yee is the best family photographer I've used to this day! She has artistic eyes to capture all the precious moments of my family interaction (not to mention, I've included quite a few extended families so we were a big crowd) and her personality is very warm, down to earth and friendly; which eliminates any stress and anxiety. I cannot emphasize enough that being able to relax and feel comfortable in front of your photographer is pivotal to generating the natural, candid smiles on camera. I've experience a pitfall using a self-proclaimed "world renowned" celebrity photographer Anamaria Brandt located in Tustin in 2022 who showed no client care or professionalism and produced photos resembling those you can take on your iPhone with a steep price that makes you furious. Yee is the complete opposite. She is sweet, personable and most importantly, fun to work with! All of my family enjoyed the on spot experience because there was no rush, no tension, only fun! Yee's post-photo session communication also exemplifies great customer service. She was proactive in every step of the process, I never had to reach out to her to check in. She took the initiative to keep me informed via text and phone along the way and the photos were ready before the supposed "due date" and I was delightfully surprised to receive her text on Christmas Eve that our photo gallery was ready and they looked stunning! I'm referring to the lighting, the layers of color in the sky, the sharpness of details and our natural expressions. A week later, my mother-in-law asked if Yee could smooth her wrinkles and whiten her teeth a little bit in 1 photo so she can look the best version of herself with her granddaughter, I felt bad to relay the message since I had already told Yee that we approved of all photos. But Yee responded immediately as she always does and sent us a re-edited photo in a few days and my mother-in-law was very grateful for her willingness to accommodate such request and she mentioned: "I wouldn't ask Yee if I didn't feel comfortable, it's only because I sense this is a genuinely caring person, that's why I wondered if it's possible". Based on these positive attributes, I highly recommend Yee for any photos sessions involving your family. Yee Lim Photography is amazing! At first, I didn't want to spend the money to take the newborn photos because to me, I thought most newborns look alike. However, my sister spent days to convince me to take pictures. I finally gave in, and I'm glad that I did it and have no regrets! Before the photos: Yee was very responsive and responsible. Before we booked her, she had answered all of our questions and concerns. She recommended taking newborn photos asap / two weeks because it's easier to work with younger newborns. During the photos: She was also very good about wearing masks to protect the client and especially the baby. All of the baby clothes are washed (I didn't see stains or weird stuff), and I'm impressed on how she organized her props and wraps. During our call, she said that taking photos generally takes about 4 hours but it ended up taking 6 hours because our baby was extra fussy. She didn't eat lunch or drink coffee and was very patient with the baby. She waited patiently for the right moment to capture pictures of our baby. She is also very optimistic and very easy to talk to! After the photos: Again, she was very responsive and responsible. Usually I have to follow up with vendors about getting the photos and getting the products; however this is the first time that a vendor had to follow up with me a few times. She made sure that my husband and I were satisfied with the edits and the album before she printed them. After the album was ready, she personally delivered it to my house, and we just "awed" a bunch of pictures together. She is truly amazing! 10/10 that I would recommend her! read more
