Thankfully we didn't have to wait for a table for 3 (the folks in front of us in line most have had a bigger table and were given a wait time). I really enjoyed the vibe here as well as the food. I tried the waffle Benedict and thought it was great. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast but their weekend hours should be updated if they open they open before 9am...

I didn't want biscuits or an Egg Sandwich, so I chose this cafe because it had the most menu options to choose from. Also, the location was close enough to our hotel, without driving too far, which was perfect. Although the space is small, this cafe has a lot of charm. It was vibrant and full of energy, and the staff was attentive, ensuring our visit was comfortable and orderly. I'm so happy that my husband & I visited around 9am, because we were seated right away. We came hungry, so we quickly placed our orders, and the food arrived shortly after. The food was excellent. We both ordered the Spicy Chicken Omelette and it was very good. The chicken was flavorful and cooked well. It wasn't spicy at all. Even the breakfast potatoes were crispy and lightly seasoned. And our beverage, two Peach Palmers, was lightly sweetened and refreshing. This cafe is a good place to visit if you're in the area. Plenty of street parking, quick and efficient service, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

I recently re-visited The Vandal again for dinner. I made a reservation online. I had one of the…read morebest meals I've had in quite a while here! They offer a choice of still or sparking (complementary) water. In addition, I had a glass of wine and my boyfriend had a beer. To start, we had the warm sourdough with butter and sea salt. We also split the Market salad which has shishitos, radish, cucumber, "grateful ched", breadcrumbs, and bistro vinaigrette. After eating the bread and salad, I knew we were in for a treat. For dinner, I ordered the Hanger Steak Au Poivre with hotel butter, frites, and aioli. My boyfriend ordered a duck dish. From start to finish everything was delicious and the presentation was very appealing. In addition, the vibe is on point with low lighting and small details like having a little bottle of fresh flowers on each table. I'll be back soon! lol

I almost had my bridal shower here back then (before life shifted in a different direction & I said yes to myself instead), and somehow that makes coming back now feel even more full circle. Different season, same table-just enjoying some of my favorite food in the city with my favorite people. If steak frites is on the menu, it's not even a question. I'm ordering it. Every time. I'll savor it properly at the table like a civilized adult...but once I'm home and the pressure's off? Let's just say the restraint disappears because it's that good. I'm not really drinking right now-maybe a celebratory sip of champagne here and there-but if I were, their martini service never misses. It's one of those places that's consistent in the best way. Familiar, special, and somehow always exactly what I'm craving.

This little cafe is across the street for Children's hospital where I was taking my daughter for an appointment. We all know going to a new doctor is stressful, so I am so glad I got us there early so we had time to walk over to get a little treat. Christina put a smile on my daughter's face with the Charlie Brown cup and the "Baby Yoda" cup (Grogu)! I will return to this cute cafe to try one of their delicious looking crepes. Thank you again Christina for making a stressful day a little more bearable!

The only downside was that it took a really long time for someone to come take our order, and we had to ask twice before someone finally came over. The food was so good though! We ordered the pesto savory crepe, French toast, Nutella crepe, Dubai chocolate crepe and the CHICKEN CHIPOTLE MELT (definitely the best thing we tried and a must-order). Everyone loved what they got. The food also took a little while to come out, but we were a big group, so it was understandable. Other than the wait to order, everything was great. The café has a cute, casual vibe with nice outdoor seating, although it can get pretty hot outside in the morning. Overall, I'd definitely come back and recommend checking it out!

Our server was in orientation. She was quiet, friendly, but well versed in the menu to make recommendations. We started with the mussels with pesto and leeks. Nice size order. Toasted bread was available to sop up all the mussel, pesto, and leek juices. Very good. The wedge salads were a nice size. The blue cheese had a good tang. The Cornerstone roasted chicken was a hit. The salmon inside was perfectly cook but outside was a little too charred. The roasted potatoes were in a vinegarette very tasty. Large portions. We decided to split the lava cake and cheesecake. I'd definitely come back, looking forward to trying more things on the menu, some of their cocktails, and dessert!
