Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

Places we called to help take the pain away from our buddy boy had a week plus wait for an appointment. One of those places actually recommended Dr. Perry and said she would personally use her if faced with that decision. We called and Dr. Perry was quick to reply. She continued to communicate and reply to our questions and was able to come out very quickly so Hugo could be relieved from the pain he was suffering. Dr. Perry arrived amd immediately her demeanor put our fur baby as well as his puppy brother at ease. She explained each part of the process and what to expect. We questioned our decision to do this...was this the right decision or could we do other things to extend his life. While Dr. Perry did not giver her opinion, she did access and evaluate our fur baby and found his lung function was very low....had lung cancer, and this heart rate was super high..it was far elevated over the normal range. She also gave time to spent with Hugo privately in order to say our good-byes. She even provided information as to what puppy brother might do and how he might act...she was 100 percent right about what puppy boy did and how he might react. She really does know animal behavior. I am so very sad that we were faced with this decision....i wanted more time with our fur baby. However, Dr. Perry solidified and confirmed that this decision was the only and right decision for our fur baby.

Dr. Perry promptly responded to my inquiry and offered several in-home euthanasia appointment options, including emergency appointments and those that would allow us to have the time to say goodbye to Elsa, while not unnecessarily prolonging her pain. She explained everything thoroughly over the phone and also provided all the information in writing - this was so helpful as I was extremely distressed and my mind was spinning. Dr. Perry was very considerate in letting us know when she was on her way the next morning, even giving us a head's up when she was just a few minutes away. She treated Elsa and all of our family members (human and canine) with respect and care when she arrived, putting us all at ease. She calmly and gently explained everything that would take place and allowed us to ask questions. She gave us space and privacy to say our goodbyes and spend as much time as we needed with Elsa. Elsa passed peacefully in her care. She assured me that she would take good care of Elsa when she left with her, and I had complete trust that she would do just that. Although she didn't need to (and I think she was even on vacation at the time), she went above and beyond and texted me to let me know when Elsa had arrived at our vet's office and could be picked up. The keepsakes that she offered were lovely - obviously created and prepared with great care and respect. They have become cherished mementoes of Elsa. I truly believe that Dr. Perry has a special gift to guide animals and their families through such a painful time. I will never forget her kindness. It is always an emotional decision and situation to say goodbye to a beloved family member. She helped make it the most peaceful and loving experience as possible. I know we will call Dr. Perry again when we need her, and I hope that this review will lead anyone in need of her care to her without hesitation.

We traveled for 10 days and never once worried about our 2 (fur babies) cats, Jack and Sally. Joleen, who cared for them daily, sent regular texts with photos and updates. She was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our cats' comfort, (and ours!). She was funny and quick to respond, just like a close family member! So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.

The thought of him in the back of the truck all day, bouncing around with people's online shopping orders made me sick. Then I get the ashes, and when I went to take 1/4 tsp to send away for memorial jewelry, it was nearly impossible to get 1/4 tsp of smooth ash as the container is FULL OF BIG BONE fragments! I cannot believe how lazy and uncaring this company is. Utterly heartbreaking experience. EDIT: I would like to note that a manager has called, twice, and offered a refund, additional mementos and to reprocess. He confirmed that the state I received Max back in was not up to their standards. I appreciate his sincerity, and just wish this never happened in the first place.

The cost was $500 just for the cremation, which through a non-emergency vet would be around $200. Because of the holiday I could not transport the body to a vet and so paid up. Then I was shown a folder of memorial urns and items I could buy. I was appalled. Grieving people do not make good choices, but usurious Agape thinks it can make more bucks by playing on our sorrow. But the real horror, after all that, was finding out my cat's cremains were being shipped through the post office--the cheapest way possible and so insulting. sending your pet home on a mail truck. I was able to get the cremains off the truck and to the vet, but for $500 I should have received Fed Ex kid glove treatment. I fault the vet clinic for using this greedy company. I have had other cats cremated and have never experienced such treatment. I just wonder if the ashes I get will be my cat's--some places take videos of their cremations, but I expect Agape has no proof the ashes are whose they say they are. Shame on them.
