Other than never being able to figure out whether I was due for a free dog wash after my six visits, I always had good experiences with this location, that all changed today. Today's issue happened to be that I got a call 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there saying that they needed me to come 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment, when I said, I would split the difference and be 15 minutes late because I already had the dog in the car and was on my way. I was put on hold and then told that would be OK. Upon my arrival I was put in a room that had so much hair from the previous dog that the tub would not drain and I walked out covered in hair that was blowing around when trying to dry my dog (that was after having to move the dryer as they did not have the 2 that are normally there). Meanwhile, they were having one of their employees groom another dog in the room next-door instead of having the self wash stations open for self washes for their customers. Then to top it off the price to wash my own dog (with someone else's dog hair) is now $30 for a 20 minute time-slot, a teaspoon of shampoo and some of their water. I've been frustrated that it was difficult to call to schedule an appointment. Their website was/is cumbersome and not conducive to actually scheduling a time but gives an "afternoon/morning/evening" option. Then they would reach out to you with what times were available and you'd go back-and-forth trying to iron out a time instead of just being able to call. Very disappointed at the direction this new ownership has taken this establishment. This will probably be our last visit here...

So grateful to Dr. Perry for helping us say goodbye to our Aggie. Having the procedure done at home…read moreallowed our dog to remain comfortable and surrounded by family (including fur brother and sister) in a familiar environment. I felt very supported by Dr. Perry and she explained each step, answered our questions with patience, and gave us all the time we needed. She was very mindful of Aggie's and talked to me outside before she came in so that I understood everything that would happen. Surprisingly, Aggie didn't mind Dr. Perry entering our home. She gave her a quick shot to make her fall asleep and slipped out so it could take effect. Only after Aggie was asleep on her favorite bed, did Dr. Perry come back to administer the medication. Truly no fear or stress for Aggie in her final moments. She allowed our other dogs to be present and explained to us what she saw in their reactions to Aggie's passing. We all found great comfort in that especially. I'm so glad that Dr. Perry takes on this difficult type of work with such kindness and professionalism. Thank you.

They will just not be open sometimes, like today, a sunny Sunday. We like being able to support our local independent pet store, but we can no longer rely on them for our dog's food because they just decide to sometimes not open on Sundays, a day they have listed as open, or open late. So we decided today we are just ordering dog food online from now on. This has happened too many times to us now. We need reliability, and we don't have it here, sadly.
