Dr. Zakai evaluated our darling Bonnie and determined she still had quality of life. The weight lifted off our shoulders and we immediately made an appointment with our local vet. I am extremely grateful to Home with Dignity and Dr. Zakai. He was so kind and caring, answered all of our questions and put our minds at ease. Khloe will soon celebrate her 15th birthday and is set in her ways. She's really not "into" hanging out with a veterinarian, but that's life. She made a lot of noise to let me (and Dr. Nickens) know that this exam was not on her schedule. But Dr. Nickens was very patient with Khloe, calmed her down (even long enough to take a blood sample). Dr. Nickens was great, and her fees are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend her.

I first connected with Loving Kindness to line up the inevitable for my first doggie Jelly. However, knowing the time wasn't quite right for that, with their guidance and excellent vet care, Jelly had more and better quality of life with me. Dr Dahlgren provided excellent care and was available when the going got tough, whether by text or visit and you know things always seem to happen after hours - and having Dr Dahlgren available to advise versus not knowing if a cold show up at some ER was warranted. Along with our primary vet at Betty Baugh's I am confident both Jelly and Boone got amazing care. Emma was visiting monthly and was always able to find the meds Boone needed at the mg best so I didn't have to cut pills etc and when you get a few meds going, it is very very helpful. Gail gave wonderful care with massages and Brandi was gentle and kind on the phone. Dr Dahlgren spent a complete Sunday reassuring me of how to get thru the day, from upping some anti nausea meds to a diet change. I sent pics of things I am sure she has seen before but who wants that diarrhea pic. I just love her and them. I am forever grateful.
