Dr. Perry's conduct during an incredibly emotional moment for my family was cold, unprofessional, and deeply insensitive. From the beginning, she came across as unfriendly and dismissive, answering questions from my mother with short, one-word responses and seeming impatient to move things along. During a moment that required empathy and compassion, her demeanor felt detached and uncaring. After the euthanasia was complete, she asked for my help carrying my dog to her vehicle, which I was more than willing to do. As I laid him down, I became emotional and hugged the towel he was wrapped in. In response, she snapped at me and said, "Get out of my car, I have a mask on for a reason." Losing a pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, and Dr. Perry's behavior made an already heartbreaking situation significantly more painful. Her lack of compassion was honestly shocking to me. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. There are many other mobile veterinary options available, and I sincerely encourage others to choose a provider who values empathy and treats grieving families with kindness and respect. As for any response from the business, I am not looking for an apology or excuses. I am simply sharing my honest experience so potential clients know what to expect. Dr Perry is the vet you want to be there to help you release your pet from their struggles in this life. Every interaction with her is marked with her genuine empathy both to you and to your pet. Hiring Dr Perry to come to my home was expensive, but worth every penny for the way in which she makes the experience absolutely free of pain, free of fear, free of drama and free of trauma. After a bad experience with the euthanasia of one of my pets a few years ago at our regular vet, all I could think of as the release of my beloved Joe Boy neared was the true horror show it had been for me at the regular vet to release my beloved Stella from her struggles and suffering. My experience on 8/18/25 with Dr Perry was the exact opposite of that. 3 weeks ago we had to make the decision to assist our girl cross the rainbow bridge. Pumpkin told us it was time. I reached out to Perry Integrative Veterinary Care, LLC, recommended by our Vet Oppssum Pike Clinic. Dr. Perry was incredibly responsive and direct with communication, and was able to come quickly for in-home euthanasia service. Max, our 19 year old Tabby cat was suffering from bladder stones and was unable to urinate. He had trouble with this in the recent past but this time was not able to urinate for 24 hours and was in significant pain, likely with high blood urea nitrogen and nausea. Since Max was old, we decided to have him put down to relieve his suffering but wanted to have it done in our home. We called CARE Veterinary Center in Frederick MD who recommended Dr. Tia Perry for this purpose. Dr. Perry answered our call on the second ring and arrived at our home 30 minutes later. This was Memorial Day, 2020, 6:00 pm. After a brief assessment, she provided us options and we chose to have Max put down in lieu of surgery. I am so grateful for Dr. Perry. I had to make the hard decision to end my beloved dog's suffering. My dog, Pippa, was always very stressed at the animal hospital and I knew I wanted to give her the most peaceful passing I could, and that would be at home with her family. Tia was a god send in our time of need. From the very first phone conversation to the day she brought home our pup she was hands down amazing. I had to make that most difficult decision recently to have my 16 year old dog put to sleep. Going to the vet's office always made her anxious, so I was looking for a vet who would come to my house to do the euthanization.
