Dr. Perry's conduct during an incredibly emotional moment for my family was cold, unprofessional, and deeply insensitive. From the beginning, she came across as unfriendly and dismissive, answering questions from my mother with short, one-word responses and seeming impatient to move things along. During a moment that required empathy and compassion, her demeanor felt detached and uncaring. After the euthanasia was complete, she asked for my help carrying my dog to her vehicle, which I was more than willing to do. As I laid him down, I became emotional and hugged the towel he was wrapped in. In response, she snapped at me and said, "Get out of my car, I have a mask on for a reason." Losing a pet is one of the hardest experiences a family can go through, and Dr. Perry's behavior made an already heartbreaking situation significantly more painful. Her lack of compassion was honestly shocking to me. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. There are many other mobile veterinary options available, and I sincerely encourage others to choose a provider who values empathy and treats grieving families with kindness and respect. Paralysis which eventually resulted in him not being able to get up on his own. When he had accidents in his bed, wasn't eating and having a hard time breathing, I knew I had to make that tough decision. On the morning of, I had called all over trying to find someone to come to my home. I was either out of service range, the vet wasn't available or I'd have to make arrangements for another company to come pick him up. I had called Dr. Perry and instantaneously she texted me right back. She was thorough, extremely attentive to detail and compassionate. Her services included transporting my boy to the crematorium. She provided me with information on costs as well as the options the crematorium provided. She gave me a price and an exact time she would be at my house. She texted me when she was 15 minutes away and arrived right on time. She explained each step in detail and what to expect. She was kind, gentle and understanding of the situation. She gave us time to be with him and grieve. She worked around me and what I felt comfortable with as well as my boy, as he had ended up in a awkward spot between the couch and coffee table. It was literally one of the hardest days of my life, but Dr. Perry made it bearable. I cannot say enough good things about her. My daughter suggested Dr. Perry when it was time to let our Sonny go. She had Dr. Perry come to her house when their sweet Daisy was ready to say goodbye. I'd never heard of the vet coming to the house, but knew my daughter felt it made a big difference. We knew the time was coming. Sonny had laryngeal paralysis and his back legs no longer functioned. He stopped eating and that week his front legs weakened. That day, he couldn't walk, wouldn't eat, and just looked at me. We both knew. My daughter called Dr. Perry who was able to come within hours. I was shocked and grateful. We had enough time to gather the family. When she arrived, she asked some questions about his illness and current condition which helped assure me that it was time. Dr. Perry came to our home to help us say good-bye to our Newfoundland. She was a very senior dog (14 years old) and her health deterioated rapidly where we had gone from thinking we had a few months to realizing that the time to let her go was already here. Dr. Perry was able to come the day we called on a holiday weekend. Although we were sad...having Dr. Perry there was such a blessing. She was kind and compassionate with our dog and never made us feel rushed. She did an excellent job of giving us a sense of what to expect both during and after. She was very thoughtful in stepping out and giving us privacy but also being very present and available for support. Max, our 19 year old Tabby cat was suffering from bladder stones and was unable to urinate. He had trouble with this in the recent past but this time was not able to urinate for 24 hours and was in significant pain, likely with high blood urea nitrogen and nausea. Since Max was old, we decided to have him put down to relieve his suffering but wanted to have it done in our home. I am so grateful for Dr. Perry. I had to make the hard decision to end my beloved dog's suffering. Tia was a god send in our time of need. From the very first phone conversation to the day she brought home our pup she was hands down amazing. I had to make that most difficult decision recently to have my 16 year old dog put to sleep.
