Very cool place for a smoothie, coffee or a small bite to eat. I had the Avo Tomato toast which was an Avocado Mash, Cherry Tomato, Basil Oil, Whole Grain Bread, Local Mixed Greens which really hit the spot for a small breakfast along with a hot honey lavender latte which was delicious (not too sweet and super smooth). My husband got the Tropikale smoothie that had Mango, Banana, Pineapple, Kale, Coconut Milk and he said it was awesome. Happy vibes abound and a cool place to just chill for awhile. read more

This is a wonderful place that goes beyond providing satiating, nourishing food and an ambient atmosphere. It provides for tremendous local support to our farmers who needed. It provides a passionate voice for the transformation and upkeep of the downtown area. And most importantly, it provides for a hub that the community can grow from and support each other and everyone's freedom of expression through the activities that they help promote and the events they host themselves. For a detailed account of my first experience here, read below: This place is my new favorite stop when visiting Twin Falls. While I do have a few criticisms to offer, I absolutely LOVE this place. I'll start this out by saying that in the entire Twin Falls County I find it difficult to eat it out. There are maybe 4 places that I feel are even worth going to... the rest of the restaurants are just junky or chain restaurants that I find very little culinary or nutritional value. To me, the best food to eat tastes good and is super healthy. Health food in Twin Falls is an extremely under saturated market, and there aren't many places that offer super foods... let alone making anything with them! My boyfriend and I came here for breakfast. They had a wonderful selection of juices, smoothies, bowls, and wholesome/creative takes on breakfast classics. We ordered their fresh squeezed orange juice, the tropikale smoothie, cinnamon apple kombucha, earl grey tea, avocado toast with spinach, smoked trout benny, and Libby's French toast. My boyfriend liked the tropikale smoothie (I did not however) (added bonus- they use paper straws which I REALLY appreciate as any eco conscious alternative makes a difference). Love, love, loved the cinnamon, apple kombucha. It was flavorful and sparkling... where I often find homemade kombucha to be lacking in one of those areas. The earl grey tea was actually not earl grey. I didn't notice until after I steeped it that it had actually been English breakfast that she brought me. No worries, I still enjoyed it! Love the organic Rishi tea brand that they source. Also, they had nice almond milk that I used to add to my tea. I just wish they gave me a saucer so there was somewhere I could place my used tea bag. I also ordered avocado toast with spinach. It was delightful! I was expecting sautéed spinach honestly, but I didn't specify when I added it on and still enjoyed it! The only critique I would add here is not adding butter to he toast-- I try to cut out dairy as much as possible-- and if a vegan ordered that seemingly vegan item, they would not be happy. The smoked trout benny was divine. My boyfriend loved it. It was such a great way to put a local spin on an eggs royale. The hollandaise sauce was very nicely done, and it came with a fresh green salad. Libby's French toast was fantastic. It tasted like an orange cinnamon roll, only better. It had a raspberry purée, blueberries, strawberries, orange rind, vanilla custard, and sugar grains for a nice crunchy twist. This place was awesome! The ambiance is great, and the food was amazing. I ordered the Classic Breakfast, but substituted potatoes for bacon (sans fontina cheese). My wife got some sides. I also ordered a pour over coffee that was great. Everyone was super friendly! We met the father of the owner, Ken, and he told us about how the family has been slowly trying to revitalize downtown Twin Falls. The whole block looks great. Wish I could award this place ten stars!! I come to Twin to visit friends and have come in for lunch, dinner and coffee/snack breaks. This place is the perfect addition to downtown! Food: FRESH, LOCAL and SEASONAL so the menu changes. Everything I have had was amazing! To name a few, for dinner, the lamb was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, the chicken and mushroom risotto was so moist and melted in my mouth! For lunch I have had the Idaho steak bowl and the Banh Mi pork belly sandwich was delicious! And I thought the portion sizes were perfect, I was stuffed but not about to explode at the end of the meal. The fresh pressed juices are healthy and taste amazing!! Atmosphere: love the cafe vibe during the day but at night the lights dim and it becomes a great dinner spot. They have great beer and wine (local brews and wineries of course) and I cannot wait for their ROOFTOP PATIO to open!!!! They have already started to do events (I saw a flyer for speed dating) and I heard they are going to have live music in the future. Honestly this place is an important addition to the revitalization of downtown. Wow. What a gem to be added into my favorite area of Twin Falls. The minute I walked in I knew I loved it! A great vibe. It feels very "big city style" in our small little town. The decor is fabulous. Where did you get those love seats?!?! I walked up to the counter and you order there, then they bring it to your seat. A hand full of beers on tap, and to my surprise 3 wines on tap! How fun is that. Cinder & Coiled wines were available. I went with the one Cider they offered. $4 for a Ball Jar of beer. Yep, I'm a fan. I was handed the "small plates" menu which is awesome because I love tappas style restaurants. This made me even happier. I ordered the quinoal, meat & cheese plate, & the ricotta. The ricotta was my favorite dish by far!!!!!!!!!!!! Very well done. The cheese & meat plate had 3 different kinds of cheese (about three slices each) 2 different meats & about 4 pieces of toasted bread. For $14 I thought there might be a little bit more, but I was happy with the mustard & pickled onions on the side! After my first experience here, I will definitely be back again and again and again! My experience at Yellow Brick Cafe was lack luster. The open spaces layout and decor made for a great atmosphere. However, the my dads 2 egg breakfast took about 40 minutes to get to our table and once it got to us the eggs were not what he had ordered and bacon was very greasy. I am vegan and was excited to try there apple pie oatmeal as it was on the menu on their website, however they did not have it that particular day. Instead I had an Acai Blueberry bowl that was quite good, but I was done with my bowl before my dad even received his small portioned breakfast. The staff was very kind and answered all of our question, however the food and wait time over ride the other factor. We will not be returning. read more

Went "full millennial" with an avocado toast - received a giant, dry slice of bread with maybe 1/4 of an avocado that was smeared across trying desperately to cover the surface area. The menu said it was topped with roasted tomatoes. Mine had chunked raw beefsteak tomatoes and lettuce, which was exactly what was in the side salad that was served with it. Sent it back - just a mistake, no biggie. They brought it back out this time with more raw tomatoes and lettuce on top. When I pointed out that they weren't serving what was on the menu and I was out of time, they didn't offer a refund but asked if I wanted it boxed. Lol. No, thank you . I hope our experience was just a fluke/bad day because I want to see independently owned places like this succeed. Stopped in for brunch while driving through town. Being from Kansas, we loved the name of the cafe. Great food, great drinks, great service. Parfait was a great, light bite and had a few interesting ingredients that were surprisingly delish. The hash was ordered by my husband. He liked the flavor but thought it had a bit too much meat and not enough eggs. The tropikale smoothie and kids pancake were shared by my kids and was a perfect amount of food for them. We were able to order the smoothie sans kale and the pancake had a light, lemony flavor. The golden latte had a nice turmeric ginger flavor and again, a substitution was requested and easily accommodated. The lamb kebabs in my Greek feast dish were all beef. No lamb. Not even the flavor of a cow raised in the same county as sheep. We loved the atmosphere and coffee, beautiful place to come and chat with a friend. Inviting, beautiful and the music wasn't too loud so you can still hear people! Staff was very kind, we loved the experience. The food was presented well and we knew it was fresh, cause of the farm to table. The only downside was the wait to the food, they came out at different times. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, and the burrito wasn't fully cooked (cheese clumpy and not melted) and the flavor was not what he expected. He said the tortilla was the most flavorful thing, which is odd cause there was a lot in there. My açaí bowl was tasty, a few ice chunks so maybe it needs a different blender. Overall we would come back, give it another shot but the food wasn't our favorite. read more

We were from out of town attending a soccer tournament and stumbled on an Idaho gem of a restaurant in downtown Twin Falls. The Yellow Brick Cafe where we sampled the Weekend Brunch menu was delightfully zany. THE BRAISED PORK BELLY SANDWICH with roasted and pickled green tomato and avocado was probably one of the top five sandwiches I have eaten. My wife who loves a plant based diet had a vegetarian bowl with roasted purple cauliflower topped with house made cashew cream that was delicious. My daughter had perfectly cooked poached eggs, seared pork belly covered with velvety Hollandaise that was fresh and wholesome. A creative and an epicurean treat for the whole family! Really cute spot in downtown Twin Falls, coming from DC for a wedding we didn't know what to expect with restaurants in the area, but this place surprised us with warm friendly service and AMAZING food. The place serves lots of local ingredients and they have lots of healthy and vegetarian options (plus some fancy juices that are YUM) but you can still chow down on some hearty satisfying dishes (I'm looking at you big daddy breakfast burrito). I am a health conscious traveling sales person. Since I don't travel to this area often, I was pleasantly surprised to find Yellow Brick Cafe with not only fabulous coffee options (you will find the standards plus nitro cold brew as well as matcha and chai lattes).....plus wonderful menu options for morning and afternoon. I enjoyed a nice late, an avocado toast as well as a refreshing Emerald City smoothly with spirulina, kiwi, pineapple, spinach, cucumber, lemon, chia, and coconut water. The cafe itself is a large, industrial - brick and reclaimed wood concept with an open view to the kitchen. It's very clean with a light airy feel. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly.
