I have used this taxi service for over a year. In the past 6 months, twice I have waited over an hour or more to be picked up. My husband had an appointment on a Friday at 3pm. I called the day before and asked for a pick up at 2:30. I have done this in the past. At 2:50, I called them and asked if the taxi coming. The dispatcher said that there was nothing to show there was a reservation. Had to call drs office and tell them if we should wait or reschedule. Ended up rescheduling. read more

I usually don't do reviews but felt this one was needed.At approximately 7pm on 4/30/21 I requested a taxi from the Town Plot area of the city to Watertown Ave to pick up a vehicle that was serviced. The dispatcher informed me that they didn't have any taxis available in Waterbury. How is it possible in a city of 110,000 people that no taxis are available?I am in complete shock.This is pathetic. Called for a cab an hour and a half in advance and they were 30 minutes late yet dispatch kept feeding me crap about "he's on his way, he should be there any minute" worst damn cab company ever. I only gave it one star because I had to otherwise I would have given it none. This cab company is TERRIBLE they were supposed to pick up my fiancé to bring him to the airport at 6:30am. At 7:00am the cab finally showed up after saying he "was a block away" for 30 minutes. This ride was pre-booked, so there should have been no reason they were 30 minutes late. So there is a nice lady that handles the woodbury area. I have used her a few times and hope to fond her again I mistakenly thought that this was the company she worked for and called to book a long ride (round trip to Laguardia airport to pick up a family member. Not sure if the lady works for this company vut the female dispatcher was so unhelpful and rotten that i gave up trying While i will have no problem finding a replacement car i cannot help but let the world know that yellow cab is nasty and i would walk before calling them for anything. I moved here from NYC (no car) & had to use their service numerous times. There's a restriction on using cab services from different towns to pick you up ...that's the ONLY reason I used them. I now have a car & needed a ride to and from the Hertz rental for my road trip. A cab came to the wrong address (next door) so I walk over. The cab driver is on his cell phone and doesn't unlock the door or roll the window down. He waits for 5 minutes on still on his phone & pulls off. I call the dispatcher & tell her "Hi was Cab #59 for me ? He came next door,chatted on his phone for awhile then left...I don't want you to think I missed it but he didn't let me in when I walked up." The dispatchers response "Well l just got here, so do you need the ride or not.." I didn't even call upset or angry & that's the response I received. Hopefully uber or Lyft will be in the area soon. Very very bad! They are almost Never on time and phoneline people are so rude. They take long roads so they could charge you more money while still being LATE. Called for an 11:00 they haven't even called back till after 12 . Worst expirience ever!!!! read more

I give this company NO stars. Driver number 89 should be taken off the road. Today is Sunday July 6th @ 4:30am. My daughter took this cab to get back to her friends house because she had broke down. She is from Boston and doesn't know the CT area very well. She was explaining to the cab driver how to get where she was going and I am appalled at how he treated her.He told her your from Boston so shut the fuck up. He slammed his brakes on called her a white fat bitch and threw her out of the cab. She was so scared she paid him and got out. Now my 23 year old daughter has no clue where she is and is walking trying to find her way back to her friends house. Oh yea crying her eyes out. This has got to be the worst cab company around. I called the dispatcher who really didn't seem to care. He told me it was a broker cab and that those drivers don't follow the rules. HELLO THEN YOU SHOULDN'T LET THEM TSKE CALLS FROM THE RADIO AND LET THEM WORK THE STREET. read more

So mixed reviews on this taxi service. It seemed to depend upon the time of day, dispatcher, and driver. We took a car service from NYC to CT to be spared the hassle of driving in the city (which I don't enjoy anymore). We used this tax service 4 -5 times to get around the Waterbury/Middlebury/Watertown CT area. The day time dispatcher was a very nice lady; she was polite, courteous and helpful. When she said the driver would be there, the driver was there. When she said she would call, she called. So thumbs up to her. Nighttime dispatcher guy, not so much. He behaved more abruptly with less customer service, and wound up leaving us stranded. We called for a taxi from the Crowne Plaza off of exit 16 off I-84 to the Hampton Inn off of Exit 17 from I-84 (so you get the picture that it was a very short drive, with one destination very close to the origin). He agreed to the pick up at 11PM, but said it would take an hour. An hour and 15 minutes later, still no taxi, and no phone update from them. I called again, and he basically said "too bad, we're too busy in Waterbury and we have to take care of that first". Then, dear sir, do not make an agreement to pick me up at midnight to bag out on me at 12:15 AM. There were no other taxi services available, and we wound up really inconveniencing some close friends. It was really bad business to make that commitment, and then rescind it an hour and 15 minutes later, made worse by the fact that I was with my 14 year old daughter and we needed a safe means to get back to our hotel, and he had agreed to do it. If they were really that busy, he should have told me, and we would have made other arrangements, and would not have waited to then panic after midnight. Neither polite nor good business. For that reason alone, I would give 2 stars, but Trevor, our driver the on Sunday more than made up for the Friday night debacle. Trevor picked us up on Sunday AM, drove us to Watertown, and made arrangements to pick us up again roughly an hour later. He was GREAT. So friendly, polite, funny, personable, and flexible - I gave him a $10 tip and he deserved. He even stopped at Starbucks for us. We also had good luck with Shawn on Friday evening - he took us to the Highfield club, and he was polite and helpful and we had a nice chat. In short, these guys have some nice drivers, need better dispatching, and probably need to upgrade their vehicles. I would recommend they clean their taxis' interiors because those were pretty dirty. Otherwise, mixed reviews, depending up which dispatcher or driver we got. read more

So sad, this company left me on hold for 15 minutes at which time I called back to be informed that they do not cover the Cheshire area thats about 10 miles away from Waterbury. In any case, if it takes 15 minutes on hold to get a response that says they do not cover an area 10 miles from them then I can't imagine how prompt they would be at any other part of their business. read more

They are horrible!!! Everytime i try & give them a chance they show attitude & never show up on time even when u call in advance. Horrible service & the manager is equally rude. Just awful service. The dispatcher is nice, but the cabs do not arrive on time. I had to show up at court. Placed the order for taxi the day before to make sure I arrive on time. The guy was 30 minutes late, and the lawyers were not happy with me. I asked the taxi driver to pick me up in 1 hour and take me home. He never showed up. I ended up walking 7 miles with my broken ankle in a cast. Took me 2 hours. read more
