Can't forget about the iconic website that cuts out all the time and is the abosulte best thing to mentally challenge yourself. Dont worry if you get it wrong though, the buses like to mix it up anyways that is if the schedule is updated in the first place. Thankfully they'll close the door in your face for showing up right on time or even if you have a minute to spare. Or my personal favorite, when its 5 degrees not including wind chill, dark, you have the overhead bus light on, have been waiting for it for an hour, and instead of stopping they nearly runs you over whilst speeding. Only downside is I've seen a singular nice bus driver and thats clearly not the aesthetic they're going for but since it's only happened once, I'll let it slide. 10/10 *In all seriousness, it seems to be management issue and an underpaid issue. Management didnt really think about Normal's routes and which routes that actually need to be more frequent, nor did they find easily accessing routes and times important. Honestly I would say what do you expect from public transportation but of all the places I've been and lived its one of the most funded and yet one of the worst. Its usually pretty clean for public transportation though.

Arrow Taxicab saved us last night. We called them and they immediately drove an hour from Urbana down to Mattoon, found our stranded geniuses and got them back to their dorms. Thanks Arrow!! Was charged 21$. This was a longer trip. My sister went 0.5 miles to Dollar General to get my nephew DIAPERS & right back. Wasn't even in there 5 minutes. Got charged 25$. I've also been tipping all of the drivers & then they're gonna pull this shit. I'll start taking ubers! She's been riding with this cab company for a long time. When I called to confront the guy he was rude & stuck up. The driver told my sister they were having a bad night, I don't give a fuck if you guys had 0 customers or not. You charged my PREGNANT sister 25$ for a ride down the road. This is just sad to be honest.
