I ended up mentioning it to the store manager after cashing out at the register. He apologized for her behavior and said, that "he was gonna have a talk with her about it." I've never had even a remotely similar experience with an employee of any business in my life. It was pretty disappointing that she was more concerned about getting to her lunch break then putting the least amount of effort forth possible when a customer was in need of some help.

All of the animals are in clean cages with ample room, and they are all clearly loved and cared for. The stories bright, clean, and welcoming. The employees are very kind and insightful, and have no problem pulling the little critters out for you to pet. Worker said one thing to me and that was to yell at me for touching the cages with the puppies in it.... not to mention they had multiple puppies in tiny cages together.
