Previously, I have tried their waffles, crepes, and standard bacon and eggs breakfasts. All were delicious. They have a great selection of flavored coffees and a variety of creams/milks. Really good stop for gelato, and sweet and savoury crepes. Before this, I wasn't a huge fan of savoury crepes, however, the Yellow Cup Cafe definitely changed my mind! I strongly recommend the New Yorker. The chicken was grilled to perfection with delectable crunchy bacon and béchamel that added the perfect touch to the dish. I have been to this cafe many times and have always had incredible food and drinks here. The tutti frutti smoothie is their most popular (the staff informed me of this) and it is definitely now my go-to. I also love their chicken fajita wrap which is loaded with veggies and comes with a side of potato chips. The ingredients are always fresh and high quality. The service is also great and the staff are friendly. If you are ordering something like a sandwich to-go, just know that it may be a couple minutes wait as they are freshly made. It is worth it. This is my favorite coffee and crepe place. The location is unusual because it has a great patio that looks onto the busy street. However, the cafe is so cute with their yellow themed dishes and Volkswagen Beatle cars. Yellow Cup has a great sweet and savory crepe menu. I always pick a different crepe but I always have to get their fresh squeezed OJ!! Cute, non- chain coffee, breakfast and lunch spot in a suburban (non- downtown ) locale. The place has a good vibe, patio and free wifi. I had a coffee which was a very typical, average drip coffee. The blueberry danish was heavy and not flaky. It's a semi self-serve spot and you can spend time at the table working if you like or chatting away with friends ( no pressure given by staff to leave). Overall, a good experience for a working lunch or casual meet up with friends. I didn't try any of their sandwiches or food yet, but would go back to give it a try. I recently got a new office space about a block from Yellow Cup Cafe and it is now my go-to for coffee in the area. They have a variety of blends and their latte was amazing!! I've come here a few times while in the area visiting friends. It's hard to find a place in Etobicoke that is independent with a warm environment so I appreciate Yellow Cup for this reason alone. It's cozy with TVs and throwback music, fast efficient service, so you can end up spending hours here. Sometimes it's hard to get a seat as it's pretty busy but one usually comes up within a few minutes. Hello, It's so true what they say, 'one bad experience is all it takes for a customer never to return'. For the past two years my husband and I have been getting our cappuccinos and breakfast from your establishment. We supported you all through Covid with Uber eats. Our Uber Easts order usually consisted of two cappuccinos, two breakfast wraps and an order of pancakes for our two little girls to share. Most days (Mon-Fri) my husband and I would order two cappuccinos (one with just cinnamon and the other with cinnamon and two brown sugars). Every single time my husband and I order our cappuccinos we ask to have the cinnamon and sugar blended for us and every time it is done without an issue. On Saturday, Jan 22nd however we were told by a server we don't usually get served by refused to do it. She told us we had to put the sugar in ourselves. I actually jokingly asked the server if the service was different on weekends than during the week because during the week the servers do it for us. I honestly thought she would say, 'no problem I can do it for you too' but she never did. I asked her again if she could put it in for us and she still refused. She said she's been working there for twelve years and she's never put the sugar in for the customer. I have to admit I was kind of hurt because some of the ladies that usually serve us didn't step up and tell her that they usually do do it for us. You can tell that for whatever reason they were a little intimidated by her. Anyways not sure if me writing this will do anything but I thought you should know. My husband and I unfortunately will not be returning to the yellow cup cafe. Yes we've had a wonderful two years coming to your establishment but this last visit really just left us sad and disappointed for many reasons. Not that you need to know this but my husbands father passed away a couple days ago and we came there today to cheer us up. It did the complete opposite. :( On a happy note we will be saving around $2400 a year. May you all stay safe during these uncertain times and I hope you have a conversation with this server on how to properly deal with customers. I usually don't care for white meat, but their chicken was so juicy and tender. It was so delicious. I will definitely be going back. They have quite a large selection of food to choose from. Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a couple of friends to hang out. Everything is yellow here, all the plates, mugs, walls, etc. The decoration is very cute and bright. It seemed like a fun place to meet up with friends and chat. The noise level was okay, too. We didn't have to speak loud or lean in to hear each other. This place has a pay-and-sit process, so we went up to the counter to order then sat down. First we ordered a salmon crepe to share and individual smoothies, which I got Acai Blueberry Pomegranate. Salon crepe was excellent. The crepe was very chewy and the combination was perfect. The drink was okay. It was a bit sweet for me. I would recommend asking for less sugar and/or no whip if you don't like the sweetness of the regular frapps at Starbucks. I'd say they are about the same sweetness. The second crepe we got was Nutella and strawberry with an addition of vanilla ice cream. This one was just as expected, but I liked how their crepe is so chewy. While all tasted great, the service was a bit less than satisfactory. First, they forgot about our drinks so we had to remind them after 20 min of waiting. We each got a free coffee coupon for it. Second, the servers aren't very attentive. We had to try to catch their attention every time and whenever we said "excuse me" to a server passing by, they would just reply with a hi and walk away. Third, the staff behind the counter, taking food orders, were not at all friendly. The lady taking the orders had an annoyed face and tone of voice that it made me feel uncomfortable to even order my food. Overall, the atmosphere is something different, fun, and bright. Awesome food! I've been here a lot of times since I live only a few kms away. I've had the Nutella and strawberry crepe a couple times, always delicious. I've also had the Cuban Sandwich which I loved!! On many occasions I've had their lattes and other hot drinks which were really good. Unfortunately I've stopped visiting because it is really over priced. I like popping in a local café that reminds me of my European decent but $10+ for a crepe is a little much for me.
