    Waffle with fruits and chocolate

My wife and I went to D-Spot as we wanted to treat ourselves to some dessert given the hectic week we had at work. We decided to go to D Spot as we had been before, but had heard good things about this location. We ended up getting a waffle with fresh fruit and chocolate to share and it was the perfect decision. The fruits were fresh and the waffle was nice and creamy. The employees were also very kind. It was raining outside so we asked for some hot water to warm us up and they brought it to us in no time. The interior was also nice and cozy with a great atmosphere. I wish it was buzzing a bit more but it may have been a bit slow given the rain outside.

I came across D Spot Desserts near my gym, always like to try new places. It's a cute little date spot for deserts. There was a lot of selection for desserts and beverages. I ordered the tiramisu cheesecake and it was delicious! They also have a variety of teas. I would definitely come back.

Ordered a strawberry banana Nutella crepe. If you're not hungry, you can definitely share. Generous portions. Staff were friendly

I've been a few times before, but first time at this location! Price Range: Roughly $10-$20 per person Items Ordered: - Strawberry Rose Palmer - Hug in a mug - My Little Secret - Spicy Tandoori Sausage Food Quality (Menu/Taste/ Portion Size) - 4.5/5 Menu is massive and has definitely grown since the last time i've been here. They have a huge selection of cold drinks, hot drinks, food, waffles, crepes & cakes. All the dessert items are really filling that I usually have to share. The drink sizes are pretty good, will last you most of your hangout. I HIGHLY recommend the Strawberry Rose Palmer, it was a great twist to a classic. My friends really loved the Hug in a mug, was perfect for a cold day. The "My Little Secret" is a great dessert that doesn't feel super heavy. It's a vanilla cake, wrapped in a crepe with white chocolate drizzle. Atmosphere - 4.5/5 It's a really good family vibe with colourful dessert themed walls that make you happy to be around. It's really good for late night hangs. It's great for groups and could be good for dates but it does tend to be very loud. Though it's pretty crowded, you'll still be able to find a spot. Service - 4/5 The staff are really nice and super helpful when suggesting menu items. They came around quite a bit in the beginning to get our order and then check in on us, but later on it was really hard to get the staff so we could pay. Would I go here again? Always one of my considerations when it's late at night and we're craving desserts. Lash's Recommendation - Strawberry Rose Palmer - Hug in a mug (if you're feeling something warm & comfy) - My Little Secret (best if you split it with someone)

The place was very crowded. The service was decent. The food was rushed. The quality wasn't the same as the other d spot I've been at in heartland

New york style cheesecake, milk chocolate drizzle

Feeling a sweet tooth pull that I could not resist led me to checking out some of the offerings that dedicated dessert joint D-Spot had to offer. The have a wide, and I mean wide selection of cakes, pastries, shakes, ice creams, crepes to choose from. For me it had to be the New York style cheesecake, a classic. You can get your slice customized with the type of drizzle you want, and I went with a Belgian milk chocolate, which was just about right. I also tried their cookies and creme milkshake and one done with honey and dates. To be honest, both the milkshakes didn't overwhelm me with the flavors they were promising, and I was looking for that. The cookies weren't prevalent, and neither were the chunks of dates. Both drinks tasted of ordinary vanilla milkshakes with a teeny tiny somethin' somethin'. Gotta try the crepes next time 'round.

This is a massive dessert restaurant. I've never seen a place like this. It is HUGE! They can seat hundreds of people. Service is quick and the menu is MY OH MY large! You can get crepes, shakes, waffles, cookies, sundaes, oh my goodness! We ordered a shake, a cookie and the chocolate cake crepes. I need to move to this area just to eat here all the time! This is truly decadent! The selection on the menu is large and you can pretty much get any flavor of whatever you want on your gluten of choice. It's a mountain when it comes out. I went on a Sunday at 9 pm and they were busy! They open late. Be patient, the parking lot is kind of horrible. Be patient! When coming in, you may have to wait a few minutes, but you'll eventually get seated within a few minutes. I mean, they have hundreds of seats!

I highly reccomend this for social gathering or date night! I often visit this place before covid19. Their desserts are the best! This place is big and is so aesthetic. It's great to take pictures for social media. Usually it's not very crowded, i never been told to wait few minutes for a seat. When i enter, there's always an empty spot. I always go here with my family, and hopefully with my boyfriend soon! I don't remember what is the average cost in this location but i do know it is quite pricey and they don't show the price for the items. Their menu though, has a variety to offer! They have pizza, poutine, dessert, hot/cold drinks, etc. D spot also have washroom at the back near the cashier. All the employees are so nice - i don't think i ever met anyone who was disrespectful. The service is great every single time. I think out of all dessert places i've been, D-spot is probably one of the top few names i can say it's my total favorite. I am not sure how they handle it now during covid, but i do know they do takeout and delivery. Other than that, hopefully i can visit again!

This is your one stop dessert spot. If you ever need to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is the place! The portions are huge, so I highly recommend sharing with a bunch of friends. My absolute favourite is their "my crepe ate your brownie", the brownie is warm and chewy while the crepe is thin and soft with a layer of chocolate sauce; a must try! Honourable mentions: "you better brûléeve it waffle" Let's not forget they also got savoury food too if dessert isn't your thing. Their vegetarian poutine is pretty good too!

I must caveat everything I say with the glaring headline that the review is based on the drink and few bites of dessert that I had at this location. I didn't get to order an entire dessert order this time, but my friends who did appeared to thoroughly enjoy theirs. We came as a party of 5, and were shocked at the size of this restaurant. As it got later in the night, it became evident why such a size was necessary - it does fill up quite fast, and is a popular joint among all age groups! The waitress who welcomed us was very friendly, and immediately gave us sharing utensils by our orders without us even informing her. She was also very accommodating with the bill splitting. I ordered a single shot cappuccino, with some chocolate sprinkled on top. It was nice and foamy, but nothing spectacular - particularly not given its high price. My friends ordered an apple pie, another chocolate dessert, a matcha latte, and ginger twist tea. The apple pie came in an interesting shape; it was circular with the filling wrapped within. The two women who shared it did appear to enjoy it, and I was shocked to see that it came with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream. The ice cream alone overpowered the pie! At $14, I found it quite pricey though. The chocolate dessert consisted of chocolate ice cream wrapped in a crepe, adorned with two dollops of whipped cream, and served with chocolate chips and dark chocolate sauce for you to drizzle it on. The two who shared this liked it, but when I had some of the chocolate chips and sauce, I found it quite stale. There was that unpleasant cardboard smell associated with chocolate that's been stored too long. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a social gathering or night with friends - however, do be warned that it is quite expensive and the desserts aren't always the best.

Heavenly Desserts has plenty of locations across the UK and now Canada. I'll cut to the chase - everything we had was outstanding. The Iced Rose & Lychee Martini is a perfect dessert drink. Think floral flavors meets milkshake meets mocktail. The flavors meshed together so well. The Speculoos Milkshake was super satisfying and indulgent but overly sweet as you can expect. The Saffron Milk Cake actually tasted like saffron! The saffron milk syrup was pleasantly creamy, light, and cold. The Pistachio & Dark Chocolate Croffle was another winner. The croffle was cooked to perfection. It was crispy on the outside and soft yet flaky on the inside. Now adding pistachio and dark chocolate to that, it was a very memorable bite. I will say that although the desserts are beautiful, elevated, and tasty, the ambiance didn't quite match the vibe here. Nonetheless, this is a great spot for a date, catch up with friends, or to just satisfy a dessert craving. Highly recommend!

Decent, but these sweets are not for me…read more I enjoy sweet and even the occasional Timbit, but I found these puffs drenched in oil and super sweet. Overall just very wet and aggressively sugary. In an age where people are trying to eat healthier, I cant really imagine myself coming back for this when I could have a larger portion of more refined sweets elsewhere. Likely a better fit for people with a major sweet tooth or for kids. It's similar to a treat you'd eat at a food truck in a festival or outdoor event. I feel as if I ate an entire week's worth of sugar in one go. The shop itself is pretty modern, spacious, and clean. Sparse seating, lots of mirrors, etc. But the location is great, and there's lots of plaza parking. Staff were ok but very busy with orders. The rest of the menu seems good. Lots of variety of other sweet drinks and pastries, but also items to balance out the sugar like coffee, tea, savoury pastries, etc. Kind of like a crossover between Tim's and Starbucks. I am hesitant to try other items though because of how sweet the puffs were. The pricing is also really steep for the kind of food it is. Personally speaking, Id rather hit Krispy Kreme because those donuts while sugary, don't feel as greasy / heavy as these puffs. For comparison these puffs are around $1/pc and an original donut at Krispy Kreme is around $1.50 An additional minus is the online/app ordering process. I ordered on the app, arrived, and didn't notice any instruction for pickup ( no signage , markers, etc). I waited 10 mins because it was pretty busy, staff were working nonstop, and I had just ordered less than 5 mins ago. I had to ask the staff about my order, and it turned out it was ready all along sitting in a cabinet with frosted glass doors, so I couldn't even tell they had any orders waiting. The app also didnt have a progress bar, just an estimated finish time at time of order. Less than seamless, for sure

Speculoos was so good!! Very rich, decadent, and sweet. The Reese's & Chocolate was a good try but the peanut butter was too thick for my liking. I prefer the lighter drizzle options.
