The food is pretty much run of the milk. Good service is on the 3 1/2 out of five stars ambience well it's just a good old little town bar where everybody knows your name but it's not cheers. It's yellow dog. But that's what makes it special to all of us that live in Warden. It's a nice place to go and just talk with your other fellow residence. BEST WINGS EVER! We moved to Branson MO but still come by when we are in town. Get the dog sauce, it's amazing. We would get a big batch when we were having a party and going to order a big batch for our 4th of July party tomorrow at the Casino Queen. I'm more looking forward to the wings than the fireworks. Was in the small town of Worden IL and a local recommended this place. They offer many selections on their menu. The food came out in a timely manner and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Pizza Burger because it was unlike any other burger I'd ever tried. It tasted good but didn't overly excite me. I got the sweet vidalia onion dressing for my salad, which I wasn't a fan of. I heard their creamy garlic is delicious but they were out that day. The pork rinds were the best part of this trip! The are made to order with different flavors. You can hear them still crackling when you receive them. I got cajun which I highly recommend!! 2 of us Stopped by about 4 pm on a Friday & ordered garlic lime shrimp skewers for appetizers. Done perfectly. Each of us ordered whole catfish with Bahama vegetables &baked potato. Received 2 whole catfish, perfect! Baked potato was done perfectly and fresh. Just the right size. Bahama veggies were grilled and quite flavorful. Everything was served with real butter!!! I come here often for the fish fry on Fridays, lots of selections, catfish filets, whole catfish, buffalo, Alaskan whitefish, cod, and tillapia. All the food is cooked to order and I've never had a bad meal here. read more

This was a very happy find on our way along the highway from Dallas to Chicago. I had the cat fish and it was delicious My husband had the boneless wings and said they were very good. My soup was the best part, southwestern chicken and I wish I had just ordered a huge bowl of that. The atmosphere is classic small town bar which was aw some. I freakin LOVE this place! What a find... just a little off I-55. Have been back now 3 times in two months. Three housemade soups, each excellent. Nice to support a small business. Not many diners during our visits but lots of take out orders. Going to try getting there earlier next time so I can try their breakfast... you know a place is good when you are planning your next drive that way just so you can stop in! Note: it really is a bar so I feel obligated to mention that for anyone with children. And it is not fancy but that adds to the charm IMO. read more

Came here Monday night for the inexpensive wings, live music on the patio and to hang out with some friends. Music was really good just a tad too loud for my liking. It was difficult to carry on a conversation. But I did order for the first time the salt and pepper wings. They were delicious. Nice and crispy and did not taste greasy at all. Can't wait to go back. Took some friends there for the first time tonight and we have been here many times and we have never had any problems it has always been great. So we told them how good it was and how we have never had anything bad but our experience was so terrible tonight that I felt the need to write this review. I always have the cat fish and never have to put anything on it it is so good and tonight it was muddy tasting and under cooked!!! My husbands kabob was barely done there was blood running out of the meat. Our friends had to wait 20 to get their food after we had gotten ours his kabob was also barely done. The waitress did not even bother to ask how they wanted Their meat cooked. Then when we still paid for the food that we should have not paid for and did not ask for any kind of discount or anything for the terrible food or service that we received and leave. Our friends were deciding what tip to leave and the waitress thought they weren't going to leave anything and she started complaining where we could hear her about how she didn't get a tip to the other people in the resteraunt at the bar. For that she should not have been given a tip. I am very sad one of my most favorite places to go and have enjoyed going for the last 4 or 5 years and now I may not return because this experience it was that awful!!! read more
