Wonderful family that runs it. Unbeatable food and drinks.. Quality ingredients, best salsa and chips around.

Finally got to try the new mexican restaurant in Staunton. It definitely was some tasty food but still not the best we've had. I loved the thinness of the chips and the freshness of their salsa. The Tamale I had was amazing and so was the Beef Birria tacos. Try to get a regular Coke a couple times but kept being given diet. The food did not take long and was pretty hot when came out. I would definitely come back if did not want to travel as far to our favorite spot. One thing though is that it was extremely loud with the music trying to drown out the conversations trying to out drown it so be mindful if wanting a more quieter setting.

The owners are the great!!

I tell him" gratuity is a option and I didn't have to leave anything if I didn't wanna" owner responded" well then we don't need service from people like you. Will never go back to a bar that has a owner that begs people for more money because that is illegal in the first place. Owner was drinking at own bar during work hours and managing a new bar tender. I'm telling you this now, do not bother coming here if you don't tip big I guess. Otherwise you may get told to leave to just over a few bucks. Will not be around a owner who lies about his own name as well to save his own skin. Because there is online so I don't get why he lied to my face about his name to save himself when I found it in 5 minutes. Win Lose or Draught is a great bar but a terrible terrible owner.

Great staff and drink prices. I usually go their on Thursday and I love the environmentread more

The bar itself is gorgeous and the selection of drink drinks and what they have on tap is more than I've seen anywhere else. The service is pretty much immediate, the mixed drinks are fantastic (and I am very finicky about my mixed drinks), and the food....OMG THE FOOD! I really don't like burgers, but the person I was with got a burger and it was amazing and insisted I tried it and let me tell you, it was the best freaking burger I've ever tasted my entire life! I went there a second time, on a Saturday night, and it was very busy, but service was still very quick, my mixed drink was perfect, music was great, but not too loud where you couldn't hold a conversation and they even had security! At a bar/restaurant on Main Street in Collinsville!! as a tiny little female, who happen to be there with her tiny little female family member, I felt super safe and had a great time! So if you're looking for somewhere to go eat, I suggest Sloans, (I just found out they did brunch on weekends and I can't wait to try that, plus they have a full Lent menu, so no having to search while I'm allowed to eat on a Friday right now!). And if you're looking for a place to hang out and have a good time, while still feeling safe, with good service and good drinks later on in the evening, go to Sloan's!

We had ordered one of their lunch specials- pizza with 2 toppings and small side salad for 11. Good deal, right? Well our bill had the $11 as expected but $1 for each ingredient so we were charged $13 instead of 11. One of friends went to ask the waitress- she was aware but wasn't sure how to change it. Geez at least tell us about it. The main bar /restaurant area is pretty cute but I thought the restroom could use some upgrades.

It was…read morea struggle, but I forced myself to order something else off the menu and I am glad that I did. Instead of my typical order of wings and fries, I got the Pump Jack Burger. It's made with Angus beef topped with Pepper Jack cheese, Grilled Balsamic Onions, Mild Banana Pepper Rings with a Sweet and Spicy Sauce, all served on a Onion Roll. It was served with a side of Fries. I was impressed by the size of the burger and that it was hand pressed. A hand pressed burger always tastes better to me. I requested that it be prepared medium rare and it was done perfectly. The fries were soft, I'd prefer mine a little crispier, but they were seasoned well. I got a giggle from their ketchup bottle, it said it was "Fancy". They have an impressive variety of beers. They offer draft, bottle and canned. I personally always go with one of the many craft beers they have on the menu. When dining alone, I always sit at the bar. The bartenders are typically female and are friendly. I am fan of hooks under a bar and Pump House takes it even a step further. They also offer, outlets. If your phone needs a charge and you've got a cord, you are set to go. Offering outlets under a bar, is top notch customer service. Now that I know they have great burgers as well as their wings, I'll have to rotate between the two when coming to dine.

Like I said in my first review you need to learn low and slow for a pork steak. Oh we don't have that anymore. Thank goodness. Your pork steak was chewy and not done appropriately. Horrible to try and eat. Tonight one of us got the chipotle chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked to death. Ugh. Came out like chicken powder, you know the kind they put in your dog's food? Way too dry. Hard to eat. All the menus online are out of date so just about everything we chose we were told oh we don't have that anymore. Not good business practice. Put out a new menu and delete the old ones!! You fit right in with the rest of the crap food we are served in this area. Not a bit better. We won't try again.

We've stopped in to Mississippi Culture a several times, and have usually found co-owner Tracy…read morebehind the bar. He's created an atmosphere--and product--that makes me want to stick around awhile. In fact, for our last visit we got carry-out food from an Italian restaurant in town and enjoyed it at MC's bar so we could make an evening of it. The mood in the room is comfortable, with high ceilings, dark wood, and just enough warm lighting. The music is cool; Tracy knows what works in the space and creates a nice vibe. Printed menus are readily available, listing current house beers, guest taps, and can and bottle offerings. They also have a nice cocktail menu featuring house-made cordials and such. And the beer--it's really good! They specialize in oak-fermented ales, and seem to know what they're doing and take pride in their work. A couple farmhouse ales hit the spot on a recent hot day. My fave on the menu was the Orange Peeler saison, and I regret not bringing home some cans (the first beer they've canned, I believe.) They also have some collabs with Perennial Artisan Ales available in bottles; those did come home with us. Another beer that's not currently on the menu, but I enjoyed a few months ago: Fuzzy Guitars, an oak-aged saison with blackberries. There's always something new and interesting here, as well as beers worth coming back to each time. Also a hit for me: the cocktails and mocktails. I chose a cocktail off the menu (the name of it escapes me... something about a worm) that involved tequila, absinthe, vermouth, and... I don't know what else but it was perfectly balanced and lovely to sip. I followed that up with a flavored soda that was also top-notch. Mississippi Culture is hosting events, including live music and trivia nights--I'm looking forward to returning for those soon.
