The prices aren't low, but they're fair. Similar items selling on Poshmark and eBay and other such sites are going for double and sometimes triple the prices that they are asking for. They are extremely knowledgeable in their vocation. They know what they're doing and they know the proper price point. They also offer really cool and unique up-cycled products. I urge you to go check out the up-cycled vintage 80s jeans. Vintage Shop Carmel is also a consignment shop so if you yourself are looking to sell vintage or antique goods, including clothing and purses at a great price, they're the ones for you. Last, but not least the ladies who own and work at the shop are absolutely positively incredible. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are funny. They are kind. I have shopped here for small items and gifts for specific sacraments over the years; however, I recently made two separate trips--one time was just to browse and pick out things for myself and the second was to find small gifts for a couple of cousins' graduations, one high school and one college. Both times, the employees along with the owner could not have been more helpful! The variety of merchandise and vast range in prices makes it so easy to find a lovely and thoughtful gift with in any budget. For example, one can pick out a very thoughtful prayer card for as inexpensive as around $1.

I had the worst experience with Kay jewelers in Yorktown Heights NY. ...by no means do business…read morethere. I reluctantly brought in my wedding ring consisting of my engagement ring and anniversary band and wedding band all soldered together. I decided to take care of removing the sizing beads which had caused the ring to become too tight. An easy fix in my eyes. To my surprise I was told they had to send it out for this repair. Again I should have listened to my gut instincts and not left it with Kay. .I was told the crown was damaged also and needed to be replaced. A work order was filled out and I paid IN FULL before the work was done. A HUGE MISTAKE. 10 days later I'm told the ring is back at the store not before I called after 8 days to check on the status. My ring had been taken apart as well as the sizing beads removed and the crown replaced. I was told by kay that there was a miscommunication between the instructions on the work order and the repair center...which is KAYS MISTAKE by their own admission. ..Kays also filed down my bands so thin they are all so fragile and I'm afraid the integrity of all 3 rings is comprised. ...AGAIN KAYS MISTAKE BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION ON BOTH ISSUES. After speaking with Kays assistant manager, daniel, on August 17, the eve of my 15th wedding anniversary which is the reason I wanted my ring repaired in the first place as a gift from my husband to celebrate our years together. He not only treated me rude by not listening to my feelings about my precious ring but continually offered to resend my ring out to have it fixed....WHY WOULD I TRUST KAY TO TOUCH MY RING AGAIN AFTER THEY OBVIOUSLY RUINED IT THE FIRST TIME. I repeatedly requested kay do the right thing and refund the cost of the repair or provide a partial refund to cover the work that was done correctly so that I could take my ring to a competent jeweler of my choice to have it put back together. He did not budge from his manager lingo and just kept repeating himself which was extremely condescending ...I felt humiliated as what I was asking for was not unreasonable. He did offer to expedite service but again I explained I am not comfortable with that offer. Needless to say I left kay with my thin, fragile 3 piece wedding band in tears and very upset....due to Kays inability to make a simple repair. I HAVE CONTACTED MY BANK TO FILE A CLAIM AGAINST KAY FOR UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE ....PLEASE AVOID KAYS AT ALL COSTS. BUYER BEWARE. They do not care about the customer at all only the mighty dollar. Obviously customer service does not begin with Kay.

However, I walked into this store, browsed every case, stood by the ring I was interested in and then walked over to the sales associate, all to be ignored the entire time. I then stood there for THIRTY SIX minutes waiting for her to acknowledge my existence in the store. Finally after 36 mins, she looked at me and said "'ll be with you soon". Cool...fine...wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that even the customer she was helping was starting to get frustrated with her lackadaisical approach to helping customers. Honestly, it almost felt like she was purposely repeating herself because she didn't want to help me. After another 12 minutes, she finally looks at me and says "what can I help you with"..... 48 minutes later. Who's the foolish one? Her for making me wait or me for waiting? I have no idea...all I know is that an almost hour wait with almost no acknowledgement is completely unprofessional and every store manager's nightmare.
