We needed a form of transportation out of Six Flags at 4 PM, so we called these guys. They told us to wait for 30 minutes and took down our phone number, but we never received a call. Finally, we called them again at 5 and they said the taxi was here. We went to the pickup loop outside the park and saw no taxis. Finally, when a taxi did come, some awful woman ran to it and persuaded the cab driver to take her instead, saying that she'd been waiting a long time for another cab company, and that she was "disabled." Obviously, her disability didn't prevent her from being a massive jerk and climbing into that cab. The cab driver told us he would be back. A couple minutes later, we saw the same cab drive past the park. It was 5:30 PM by then, so we just sat there for another 30 minutes waiting for the trolley. Terrible service, terrible communication. I'd rather have spent the $20 for parking than deal with this company.

Each time I went through about 6-7 calls, saying they will be there in 20, there should have been there already, another 10 minutes, something came up we have a new driver on the way, etc. One night I waited so long I end up calling a friend late night to pick me up. We went back to my apartment and started drinking some more and the taxi driver calls me about an hour later (about 2+ hours after original phone call) and is all pissed off that I wasn't there! The f**k? The most recent experience they sent one of their new drivers (drove us earlier that night) all the way from Hollywood to pick us up. Poor guy! It had probably been an hour and a half after original phone call (driver was supposed to be there in 15 min), when he arrived. Our girlfriends were not too happy sitting around in a cold parking lot at 1am! So what I've learned is... if you are going a short distance their drivers don't want to pick you up because they don't make enough money.Try telling dispatch that you are going far and see how fast they show up. Or better solution, don't use them at all!

We just completed a 17-day cruise on Cunard from NYC to LA through the Panama Canal. We enjoyed…read morethe trip, but it could have been better if the management at Cunard paid attention to a few details, like these: -Air quality. On several days our side of the ship had paint and varnish fumes circulating into our rooms via the AC, forcing us to vacate on several occasions. We know it was not just our room since we had relatives in another stateroom on the same side. -Activities on at-sea days. While we enjoyed the lectures, there could have been more activities available. On another cruise line, we enjoyed movies on the top deck throughout the day over the pool area. It would be an easy add to the pool areas. -PA system. We were told that they didn't wish to "disturb" us in our staterooms, so PA announcements would only be in the public areas and on one channel of our TV. However when you have an all-day tour guide during the Panama Canal transit, you don't want to be stuck inside trying to hear, when you have a balcony room. Why can't there be outside speakers with an on/off switch? -Better coordination with ports-of-call. I realize we were only one of many ships in Ft Lauderdale that day, but seriously you'd think they would get together and BUY the darn water taxi service so it could be run right. Also some of our lesser ports (like Puntarenas and Manzanillo) relied entirely on the guests purchasing the shore excursions to escape a depressed downtown area, when the cruise line could have worked with the locals to ensure there were clean accessible activities for all that would benefit their local economy. In one location, the street market vendors were trying to sell in vain to the visitors who had been spirited away by bus. -Seems like a lot of chemical use onboard for "sanitation"... what the heck are they spraying everywhere? -Coffee. I realize the Brits aren't known for coffee, but can't they get a real barista onboard to teach them how Americans like to drink coffee? Yes, I realize we are spoiled by Starbucks. The good: EXCELLENT service. The people who work for Cunard are the best, truly they work above and beyond to serve guests. Great food in general, esp. in the dinner service. Should make the most of that, by giving folks more opportunities for "culinary education" or galley tours etc, than only on the last day at sea. We also enjoyed the very informative tour guide who joined us on the Canal day, who (if you were in earshot of a speaker) could be heard throughout the ship.

Uber car seat didn't seem to be a reliable option and ride hailing services required a super far transfer to another pickup location. The bus was also triple the time to our destination near the cruise port. Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy). Drop off at the hotel was smooth and we tipped in cash for great service - he impressed us! Definitely would recommend to anyone especially families looking for a smooth experience getting anywhere from LAX airport. I will be using them again for future travel. Pricing: reasonable and competitive for door to door private car service with car seats. Communication: from booking to actual day of it was the right amount of detail Quality: car and car seats were super clean Safety: our driver Oscar was safe while navigating LA's freeway and street traffic. Car seats were properly installed and well maintained. Convenience: Door to door service was amazing and easy - I had bags but didn't require a luggage cart at all.
