Horrible service I got left stranded at LAX. So I was scheduled for a 10pm pick up when they still haven't showed up at 10:20 I called dispatch to make sure I was still getting picked up and they said yes to keep waiting. So I kept waiting until 10:45pm and I called them back and told them I'm still waiting, finally she said she will call the driver. I got a call back at 11:00pm saying the van is halfway to AV they had a miscommunication with the driver was all I was told. Look for alternative transportation do not use this service read more

I love the friendly drivers. Today I had a sweet driver who picked me up at LAX 30 minutes behind but at the exact spot I requested. People need to remember that the drivers pick up other travelers and depending on traffic at the Airport, the drivers can't always be on time - but they are pretty darn close. I feel so bad for not leaving a tip but I came in from Japan and had no cash on me. Antelope Valley Express is such a convenient luxury. Commuting can be draining and frustrating. I normally park my car at thier office. On 3/28/25 I was dropped off. No problem and smooth ride; however, upon my return on 4/5/25, my plane that was scheduled to land at 6:30pm had landed at 7:30pm. Unfortunately, 7:30pm was the time Antelope Valley Express was scheduled to pick my up. The driver provided a courtesy call, requested info of my exact location. I informed the driver I was waiting on luggage, etc. She tried to stick around, picking up other customers. By this time it is 8:30pm...My pick up location, miscommunication, back and forth. and frustration developed. The owner of the company called the next day. Inquired about last night situation. Unfortunately, due to the plane being late. Ect. The driver tried to accommodate me by waiting. I belive passengers became upset due to the delay.....I could have waited for the next van to arrive at 10pm, but as tired as I was, I called Uber......(super expensive) Anyway, I believe Antelope Valley did thier best. This service is not very punctual...you need to be flexible. Ride 1: 2200 pickup at LAX, didn't come until 2245 because waiting for passenger. Ride 2: 1730 to LAX, no issues Ride 3: 0800 to LAX, broke down right before 14 and 5 merge. Waited 2 hours for another shuttle. Ride 4: 1730 to LAX: left at 1740 due to late passenger. Ride 5: 1730 pickup at LAX, didn't come until 1810. I don't know why I continue to use this service...I just really hate driving. read more

Recommend. Used this shuttle for the first time when I had an afternoon flight out of LAX. Booking was easy, but I couldn't book online as it was within 24 hours of my flight. So I called, and was able to get on the shuttle I needed. The Palmdale waiting area and clean and had WiFi. There was also a small market next door. The shuttle itself was clean and nice. Larger luggage goes in the back. My only issue was that you really felt every bump in the road. Not sure if the shuttle needs work or if maybe the roads did, but overall it was a perfectly fine experience and I would use this company again. read more

Antelope Shuttle is a good service, and the operator means well. For Bakersfield residents, it's one of the few options to LAX since the "Airport Valet Express" service has stopped running. However their pricepoint is around $60, and parking is only available at their Palmdale location (for $2/day). For AV and Santa Clarita passengers who wish to save $ on their fare by utilizing public transit, I recommend the weekday early morning LADOT 574 commuter bus from the Sylmar/San Fernando station ($3.75). For those needing long-term parking, the Van Nuys FlyAway station at 7610 Woodley ($9.75, with parking at $5/day). Both options are significantly cheaper to get to LAX on time. read more

The person I made my reservation with told me pick up time was at 10:00 A M, and I needed to be at the pickup place 10 minutes early at the Orange ride share terminal. Found out that they are not even allowed in the airport until 10:30 AM. The reservation staff needs some more training. The driver is very nice and polite. Good at her job. read more

This is the second time Antelope Express has left me stranded at LAX, with nothing more than an apology and an offer to refund me for the shuttle ride I did not receive. No assistance getting back up to the AV or offer to reimburse me for what I had to pay to get home from the airport. Just an "oh, sorry. We can refund for this ride, if you want". Just wow. I will never recommend them again to anyone traveling between LAX from the AV. The schedule they post is a joke. They should call it a charter or limo service, because "shuttle" implies that they make continuous trips, per the posted schedule. They do not. The first time they left me stranded, they didn't feel picking up one person was worth the trip (their words, not mine), so they moved it from a 3:30 pick-up to a 10pm WITHOUT so much as a courtesy call. This time, I had to change the return date. I called, explained that my plane was due in at 2:55pm, so it would be tight to get luggage and make the 3:30 shuttle. She told me it was no problem, that they would wait, if I ran a few minutes behind. I actually came in early, called twice to find out where the pick up would be, because LAX changed things around. Two times I called with my name and told her I had been reserved on the 3:30 shuttle. She gave me directions, even though there was nothing scheduled on their end until 10pm! Waited for almost an hour and called to see how late they were running. She had to call the driver to find out there was no shuttle heading to LAX. She told me my pick up was scheduled at 12:30, which it absolutely was not. Once again, they left me stranded, with an apology and a refund. No help. Oh, well, they did offer to put me on the 10pm shuttle, since they had cancelled all of the ones in between. Again, no offer of assistance, reimbursement...nothing. I should just happily wait for 7 more hours after a 12 hour day. Because they can't be bothered to help with a solution. As nice as their people are (they are), this cannot truly be called a "business", when they provide rides at whatever times they feel like it and cancel when they don't, without any notice to their customers I highly recommend the LAX Van Nuys Fly Away for more professional Shuttle services. Antelope Express has no idea about good customer service. read more

With the fire going on in Sylmar, the 14, part of 138, 118, 5 and part of 405 was closed. AV Express called me twice before my pick up location and time to communicate the news and the driver is taking the Angeles Forest route and expect 4 hours to get to LAX (instead of 2 hours). Despite these inconveniences, AV Express maintained great service, professionalism and quality of care. Shouts to the driver Ms. JJ who is such a positive loving ball of light. She was such a sweet person AND she was a safe, prompt driver. Even with the detours and alternate routes, I didn't stress at all and she helped. It's definitely unfortunate about how these fires are affecting so many lives and sending prayers to those who lost their homes. I surprisingly still made my flight! Great idea but don't depend on it. Made reservations 2 weeks in advance, then they canceled the day before.

The shuttle is convenient, that's about it. The shuttles have lots of head space because you will be hopping up with every bump, especially if you are unfortunate to be in the back. I brought my cat in a carrier and we were in the back. His carrier came off the floor a few times during the trip. That is a 13 pound cat made airborne and then falling to the floor in it's carrier. If I put him on my lap it was even worse. Fix your suspension! California roads are wonderful compared to most places... fix YOUR suspension. I've felt less bumps doing motocross. read more

Be VERY CAREFUL about parking your vehicle here. Staff advised they aren't responsible for anything that happens to your car when it's parked here, which would be fine. Except for the fact that they DO HAVE cameras that record say, my vehicle being hit, but won't assist with reviewing it. Lazy. In addition, driver made it from LAX to Palmdale in 58 minutes. I'll let you do the math on how fast she was going. Unsafe is the key word here. That said, it's a decent way to get to LAX. Just beware of no help from the staff to resolve your hit-and-run issue as well as a bad driver who may kill you on your way home because she was driving way too fast for the conditions and vehicle. read more

This shuttle service is not dependable at all! If you are a lone traveler, just drive to Van Nuys flyaway for your convenience. This transport business requires a minimum of 3 passengers per trip to be able to do the trip to the airport. So, if you're traveling alone and there's no other passenger for that particular time that you need to be at the airport, you're out of luck. They will not do the shuttle service for you. They cannot do anything for you to do the trip. And please do not buy any gift certificates as a gift to your friends and family. It's a nightmare to be dealing with them to get your refund if you're unable to use it. As much as I would like to promote a small business like they say they are, they cannot commit a reliable and dependable service because they cannot follow through the kind of service that would require each individuals needs. The person in charge said, "we cannot provide the need of transportation for one passenger only, it has to be minimum of 3 passengers for our shuttles to do the trip. I totally understand that you cannot provide transportation service because of the gas prices, the drivers salary for that particular trip. So if you cannot maintain and sustain the demands of this type of business, might as well shut down rather than keep the business and lower down the customers high expectations. Very bad business considering they are supposed to be a service oriented business. They will dictate the time that is convenient for their business. Please read their policy if you're a lone traveler before you make your reservations. They have the right to cancel your reservations because of lack of passenger load. Horrible service!!! Had a reservation to get pickup at 7:30pm Saturday, waited for two hours no call no show and they don't even give you a phone number to call the driver. The driver picked up two other people without asking the name and they took our seats. We had to get a taxi back home from Lax to Palmdale. Went to get my money back and the owner is being a bitch saying that the people they picked up looked like us? WTF? Did they take a picture of passengers to know who is who? So needless to say that if we didn't figure out how to get home on our own we would still be at the airport like dumbasses waiting for a pick up. This has been the worst experience! This is S.S I was the driver of the wedding party. I work for the "Antelope Express" I am A Professional Driver with 30 Years of Driving experience. There is A bad Review here from a Wedding Trip I did & about my Employer and myself that I feel that Needs to be Acknowledged. Customer said "I" got theme Late to the Wedding AND Late picking theme up After the Wedding too!? Fax is i got to my pick up spot on Time. "Leave Time" was 2pm & They Knew that because I told theme My Self Over the Bus Mic. We took off at 2:18 pm #Why, Because the Group Said there was More People coming. Usually & ALWAYS there a Group Leader to take Charge. NO one Knew who was in Charge? Finally someone step up. But by then we was almost 20min Late & Group had people getting Back Off and On the Bus before we left. Truth be told "I" was Responsible for 4 minutes of late time cause I took the Group to the wrong church with the SAME Name accidentally and for that I'm Truly Sorry & I Apologise to everybody I Hurt And to my company too. No buts,,,But the Fax is Google Only had me 4 minutes away from my Destination. For the record no one Miss the Wedding and everybody attended. So I Drop them off At the reception as requested. I was scheduled to pick them up at midnight. I showed up on time BUT the Gates were locked going into the Event. I had no idea. By then the Group called the owner looking for the bus. Unaware the bus was locked outside the gate. They then provided a Gate code to my employer who Relayed it to me. The code only open the exit side of the gate. I had to Drive the 45 ft Bus Through A narrow exit gate only giving me about 1inc on each side of the bus from getting damaged from the gates. As I slowly drove the 45' bus through the gate I noticed the gate started to close! I had to walk OUT of the bus 4 TIMES and RUN back into the Bus just so I can Move a couple of feet each time until I got through completely. The Lady who called looking for the bus was told by the owners to make sure the gate was unlocked & open when the driver showed up At the final pick up at 2:00 a.m. But that did not happen. We requested this because we wanted to assure our buses did not get damaged. To my knowledge The trip has gone fairly well. My company and myself were never informed That there was a problem with this trip. Wasn't until Tuesday when my company reached out to return there cleaning deposit$ that this was brought to their attention. By that time They took it upon themselves to post a Negative review Before reaching out to management. As the driver I take responsibility for going to the Wrong church. From my perspective They needed To appoint a group leader to Keep this event on schedule And handle minor details like keeping the gates Open. I would like to congratulate the bride and groom and wish theme nothing but the best. read more

Horrible shuttle service. I've always been uncomfortable with their vans, especially the fact that they have no head rests in case of an accident. The last time I used this shuttle the van blew a tire while speeding at ?mph in the fast lane during (usual) heavy traffic. The driver managed to get over 3 lanes without getting hit by pure luck but it felt like the entire van was going to come apart from the vibration. Even the driver acknowledged that if it had been a front tire that blew, he wouldn't have been able to control the vehicle. If all that wasn't bad enough, as soon as he changed the tire (scary sitting on the edge of the freeway too), the driver went smack back into the fast lane at what? 75+ mph? I thought I would be sick. I contacted the owner afterward but received a pretty rude and unapologetic response back. Of course I had to pay full price for nearly being killed. From now on I'll do anything NOT to use this shuttle. I'd rather pay MUCH more and either hire a limo service or fly into Burbank and take the Metrolink. Another option: fly into LAX then take Lyft to the Metrolink station. Metro goes right to Palmdale and Lancaster. read more

After a very long day of travel, delayed flight and lost luggage, the friendliest voice I heard was in the AV Shuttle office assuring me that she would ask the driver to circle back around LAX. Please do yourself a favor and do not make any reservation with these people. Me and my wife booked a bus for our wedding guests and they screwed up the ceremony. Not only they took our guests to a different church, but the Owner (Thomas) called 3 days later to yell at my wife telling her it was her fault (they had the right address in the contract). They not only are very unprofessional, they will also not admit they make mistakes. I am 100% sure you can find a better service than this. Friendly drivers, great times for shuttles, and I think the reviews are very far fetched!! Me and my friends have used this shuttle company for years and their busses just keep getting bigger and better and of course some problems can occur with a vehicle in the heat or tires can blow out but that's just unfortunate and can happen to a taxi or limo service you just can't plan those things. I know that I've gotten to the airport and back safely and comfortably each time! As I write this I am in the back seat of a van being driven by a woman who is making me sick to my stomach! There is some sort of air freshener that is clogging the air with a sickening odor. The driver can't just keep a steady pressure on the gas, but goes in fits and starts, making me feel car sick. She also has a friend along in the front passenger seat and is telling stories about her family and I feel in danger because she is distracted talking to this woman. We have used the Fly Away service several times before, but now that they are another company, and their prices have gone so high, I'm not sure I will take this service again. Might switch to Uber, they might be more professional. In addition, the driver has a cough that sounds bad, and does not cover her mouth when she coughs. I hope we don't catch something! Very aggressive driver. At one point she was tailgating another driver in the carpool lane and then on the side street by the airport a car was pulling out a little from a side street, instead of going around the guy, in the empty lane next to us, she slammed on her breaks and laid on the horn. She then went out of our way to the airport to drop off the friend in the passenger seat!! That was strange. read more

I had a reservation for last friday at 3pm from LAX. I've used this service three times in the last year.... one time the driver drove quite erratically and it was a bit unnerving. Another time everything went fine. But this past week I had purchased a ride from LAX to Palmdale and it was supposed to be a 3pm van pickup. I was next to the green sign (that is posted on their website) at 2:30....a full half hour or more from when the van was supposed to stop. I watched as bus after bus and van after van came and stopped and each one was marked with "Van Nuys" or "Long Beach" or "Hollywood", etc. Not one was the AV Express van. At about 3:20 I called and asked when I can expect the van to come by....they said the driver had tried to call me and that he stopped and was looking for me. I had to wait another 2 and a half hours for the next van. Another woman who got on that same van said she was waiting for the 3pm van and it never showed. This driver NEVER came by... let alone STOP. IT'S A BUS STOP.... YOU NEED TO STOP!!! I have a friend who took the same van a week earlier and she said that the guy just slowed down at some of the stops and never stopped. I noticed a 'Flyaway' van that did the same thing... he was in the second lane from the curb, he honked, slowed down just a bit and just kept rolling on by....never stopped. A young lady in front of me wanted to get on that van and she was waiting for it to stop but it never did....her mouth was just open in disbelief. From now on I'll take a car service or Uber.... it's worth the extra money to know you'll be picked up on time. After missing that non-existent bus, I ended up waiting a total of 4 and a half hours at the airport to get a ride home. And I checked my phone call data..... there was one 800 number call that I'm not even sure if it was from AV Express. This driver just never showed. I won't be using them anymore. After 5 hours flying across country, the last thing you want is to have your ride not stop WHERE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO STOP!!!! read more

Today I had to take an Antelope Valley Airport Shuttle at 11am to LAX. I'm not sure who the driver was because he did not properly introduce him self to me the first thing he said was, " I BEEN CALLING YOU". I was a bit confused because I only received one phone call at 10:55 and I was in the lobby heading out. For this to be my first shuttle ride, and the only woman in the van I didn't feel safe at all. He was so rude. when he dropped me off to my terminal he slams the door then yanked my suit case out and slammed the back door and just walked off I said thank u, and didn't get an response. I didn't understand why he was so upset I wasn't late for the shuttle I was on time, and we made it to LAX 45 minutes before the time estimated. I know I would never use their service again, nor will I recommend to anyone. read more

They'll get you to and from LAX in a jiff. The staff is friendly, the ride is comfortable enough and fast, and the best thing is...you don't have to be the one worrying about driving on the 5! It cost me $95 round trip from LAX to Lancaster (about 1.5 hours one way). I think it was worth it and would do it again! read more

Worst service ever. Would not recommend using this service at all. When I was departing from LAX, I got dropped off in the wrong terminal and had to walk to the right terminal, almost missing my flight. When I was picked up from LAX, the shuttle was thirty minutes late and didn't leave until an hour after it was supposed to. Horrible service. They don't know what punctuality is and they didn't pay attention to the correct terminal. Would not use this again and would never recommend for a friend.
