We had a very special Birthday dinner for my husband. 12 attended the dinner. We had a fabulous dinner.we had wings, calamari and the most amazing trout dip. All our meals were perfection and if you are a carrot cake lover, this was one of the best I have had. Great atmosphere, and the employees were top notch! The Ranch looked absolutely amazing and we were thrilled when we arrived only to be turned away at the door. Their policy stated a no pet policy; however, our animals were licensed service animals. We did call before hand and left several voice-mails to verify that the ranch excepted service animals but never got a call back. The ADA policy about accommodating service animals for indviduals with disability, we felt confident without any confirmation from the ranch that they would honor our reservation. Upon arrival we didn't even get a hello, but an aggressive "Nope! I seen you have dogs and we don't allow pets!" I response was that we have service animals and I even have handicap plates as I'm a Disabled Veteran and traveling with my parents, my mother suffers from panic attacks and she holds on to her dog for comfort. After leaving a review and looking into our refund since we were turned away. They didnt refund our money and they responsed that we were trying to hide the dogs because my mom had her service dog wrapped in a jacket, because it was literally snowing. Only good thing I can say is they helped send us to Yellowstone Valley Inn that actually abides by the ADA and I suggest everyone stop at Yellowstone Valley Inn it was more welcoming and understanding. read more

We booked our stay for Yellowstone at the Cutthroat cabins not even knowing they had a on site restaurant. We had a 3 night stay and ate their the first night. The steak was amazing. We are from texas and love a good steak and this was cooked to perfection and was an excellent cut. The food was so good that we came again for the second night of our stay. Everything we had was delicious. They had a band playing the second night and even though they were packed the staff was running around making sure everyone was taken care of. Fraudulent business practice. They cancelled our reservation and then charged us twice. Once in February and again in May and refuse to refund the money. They argued it was through Booking.com but they charged my credit card after the cancellation with Booking.com. read more

We stumbled on this place outside of Yellowstone. They squeezed us in on a busy night. The service was quick and friendly. We tried the pan fried walleye and bourbon glazed salmon. Both came with the most delicious risotto and perfectly cooked vegetables. We were more than satisfied with the quality and quantity of food. read more

They were able to accommodate on short notice for Mother's Day. Food was great - sirloin filet and ribeyes. Chocolate flourless tort was good. Speed Goat beer and cocktails. The server stayed past closing (we weren't aware of closing time) but still took time to make us feel welcome and like part of the area. Loved it. read more

This place is a criminal enterprise. I booked a one night stay using booking.com in January 22. The total cost was $249.00 and they billed my credit card twice for the one night stay. I called and the lady was very friendly and refunded the double billed amount. Fast forward to June 15th and we decided to cancel the reservation which was FULLY refundable if done before 14 days of arrival. After a week the money had not appeared so I called and they actually answered the phone and the same lady said they would process the refund. After two weeks sill no money and I called Booking.com and they opened a case. I sent them the requested bank statements and it's now been 6 weeks and nothing. Places like this give the entire hotel industry a bad name. STAY AWAY !!!! read more

Our party had dinner. Walleye, ribeye and bourbon fried chicken sandwich. Service was friendly but food and drinks were slow coming out. Cloth napkins would be a nice touch considering the prices. Also a nice bun for the sandwich would have added to the presentation and some fresh baked bread or rolls for the table would have been appreciated. Bloody mary had great mix but garnish of a single lime slice with a dry little rind was pitiful. Food is overall good but the place could use a little upscaling with a few details like glassware for water not plastic cups, etc. to make it classy. Music was good but too loud for dinner. Will give it another try after tourist season. Carrot cake is a winner! read more

Got food poisoning from the cheeseburger. I ordered it medium rare, and it came way too undercooked. Food took so long and they lost our ticket in the process. Our waitress forgot about us. The owner was also very rude to us. The view and atmosphere were amazing though!! I had to buy a new pair of pants at Walmart after having the shits on the 30 minute drive home. read more

Amazing meal at Cutthroat! The casual atmosphere is comfortable and fun. We went there with our teenage son, who ordered the grown up grilled cheese and said it was the best he's ever eaten. I had a Caesar salad and chili. Flavorful chili with a little spice. My husband ordered a chili cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Excellent! They have a great selection of local beers we enjoyed. We recently moved back to the area and my husband took me here for dinner back in late June. I'll admit it, I can be a food snob. My culinary experiences should have made me wiser (see my liquor store poke review ) but I was expecting to be disappointed by this little restaurant out here in the "wilderness". We had the seared ahi tacos to start which were absolutely delicious. I had the filet topped with a blue cheese butter, loaded baked potato and sautéed green beans and ... it was one of if not the best steaks I've had in my life! So now for my disclaimer, I ended up taking a job waiting tables here for the summer... and I have been very proud to serve the food that is prepared here! I mean from the hand cut fries to the homemade carrot cake (which sells out on the reg) it's all sooo good! When my employment ends here soon I will definitely continue to come for the delicious food and great service ;) if you are visiting the park or a hunter or a local you need to come out visit the cutthroat you will not be disappointed! Oh also there is a full bar as well as many local beer selections on draft! read more

If you're headed to Yellowstone look up the Cutthroat for dinner. Food is AMAZING. Went out with some friends--I had the 12 oz Ribeye with rosemary potatoes and asparagus. Perfectly prepared, and just delicious. But--my wife had the salmon with pecan and balsamic glaze and she said it's one of the top 5 she's ever had--truly a spectacular dish. Service (as always) was fabulous (thanks Courtney!) but wow--the food was just wonderful. If you're not from Cody you may need to Waze it, but it's definitely worth the effort--trust me on this and head to the Cutthroat, you won't be disappointed. read more
