Spicy salmon roll ( two orders)
    Angela L.

I wasn't expecting much but I was craving some sushi and decided to grab some take out from this place on my way home. I was pleasantly surprised. Inside wasn't very large. You have to go to the back to order. I got two spicy tuna roll. After putting in my order I paid cash which saves me 5% and sat to wait. They were relatively quick and I was soon on my way home. When I finally had the sushi I was surprised at how expertly they rolled these sushi. There was a perfectly thin amount of rice hugging the outside of the seaweed while the super soft spicy salmon made up the filling. I'm glad I stopped by.

Great place for scallop dishes! Most fish pieces are fresh but the scallop is hands down the most worth it thing on the menu. Ratings on pictures Pepper Tuna Salad 8/10 Spicy Scallop Roll 10/10 Spicy Scallop Hand Roll 10/10 Salmon Roe 9/10 Green River Roll 8/10 Miso Eggplant 9/10

Had their lunch specials dine-in and take out and were always satisfied. Liked that they have beef negimaki for lunch bento. Rolls are good. Very easy ordering online Friendly service. Small place with a few tables for dine-in.

This is my favorite sushi spot!!! So good and fresh as always I recommend this place!

A neighborhood Japanese bar and sushi which is quiet and homey. The taste is on par with the restaurants from Manhattan, but you get cheaper price with better quality. We ordered spicy kani salad, sashimi appetizer, shrimp tempura and some rolls which are perfectly made. The service is very friendly and attentive. I see a lot of take out and delivery too. Will definitely come back again.

Whenever I come here the sushi is always hitting the spot, I found this place one day a few years ago craving sushi and have been coming here ever since. The lady at the counter is super sweet attentive and on it! I would recommend coming here for a quick bite or to go! (Rock shrimp is the way to go for appetizers)

I was very impressed with the selections listed on the 3 Combo Roll and ordered spicy kani, spicy tuna, and salmon tempura with avocado. The eel sauce is the perfect sauce for all of these rolls and complimented them well. The ingredients are fresh and high quality in taste. Yellowstone Sushi is now my go to spot since my favorite place closed permanently a month ago.

I love this forest hills sushi spot! My favorite things to get in any sushi place are seaweed salad, shrimp shumai, and a shrimp/eel/avocado roll of some kind. All very high quality! Perfectly sauced. Quick delivery.

We love going to this new sushi restaurant in the area! We have been here twice in the past month and plan to make it a regular lunch/dinner spot. The staff is very friendly, genuine, and courteous. The restaurant is incredibly clean. I find this important for a place that sells raw fish. The rolls are nicely crafted, miso soup is delicious (not too salty). We have ordered tuna rolls, salmon and eel. All are plump and delicious. At the moment they do not have their liquor license. They will probably have one soon. We shared the udon pan fried noodles with vegetables. Delicious!

Ask the Community - Yellowstone Sushi

Why no one is answering the phone 4 different time, different days?

Closed but I reopening soon. They had trouble with staff and couldn't run two businesses. Glad they are coming back soon!

Is it closed down again? It's mid June at 9pm and their gates have been closed and no one picks up the phone. Sad.

I walked through there and saw it was closed at noon. I did not see any post outside the restaurant mentioning why it was closed.

An Unforgettable Omakase Experience!…read more We celebrated the 4th of July with an incredible omakase dinner at Masaki, and it exceeded every expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, impeccably fresh, and perfectly balanced. From the delicate Red Sea Bream and buttery Scallop to the luxurious Toro with Caviar, Sweet Shrimp with Uni, and the unforgettable Eel with Foie Gras, each bite was a masterpiece. What truly elevated the evening was Michael, our sushi chef. He was warm, engaging, and exceptionally knowledgeable. He took the time to explain every course, the origin of the fish, the flavors, and the best way to enjoy each piece. His passion for his craft was evident, and his attention to detail made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Dining at the sushi bar gave us a front-row seat to watch the artistry behind every piece. The quality of the ingredients, the precision of the preparation, and the genuine hospitality made this one of the finest omakase experiences we've ever had. Thank you, Michael, and the entire Masaki team, for making our holiday celebration so special. We can't wait to return for another unforgettable evening!

There are lots of servers so you never feel like you're waiting. The food is delicious and there's a mix of platters and smaller plates so you can try a bit of everything. The fish is so fresh. The tempura got mixed reviews from our party. Some of us loved the thick breading and others weren't a fan. The tempura sauce is amazing. There is an omakase option, which we haven't tried but would like to one day.

I went with my usual order -- a spider roll and spicy tuna -- and both were solid. The highlight of the visit was honestly our server. She was cool, spunky, and had a great sense of humor.
