High quality work, professional staff, and whole process with yellowtail was smooth. I had 12 recessed lights, a ceiling fan, and a control unit for my pool stsyem all installed. Prices/estimates were reasonable. I would do business withh them again for my electrical needs. read more

After searching for electricians for a while we were lucky to stumble across Joel from Yellowtail. We were in search of someone to help install our brand new swim spa and Joel with Yellowtail was the best man for the job. He was always readily available, communicating effectively and overall provided great customer services. The staff was friendly, respectful and worked efficiently to get the job done. Joel and his crew displayed professional courtesy and expertise in their work. We moved into our home 2 years ago and have used 3 different electricians from the area. When I had additional work to do as we were installing a spa and it needed to be supplied by a 225 amp from the panel I could have relied on any of my previous electricians. I decided to go with Yellowtail. Not only did he install the supply for our spa we had additional work adding ceiling lights in our family room. Honest. Reliable. Fair. I needed a chandler installed in a room that had no electrical outlet and that had a vaulted ceiling so I knew I wanted a really good electrician. I wanted to provide an update since the owner's response below does not reflect what has happened…read moresince my original review. The company stated that the waterproofing work was completed and documented. However, after that response was posted, new leaks continued to appear, including leaks in areas that had never leaked before. Additional damage occurred to my home, including hardwood flooring and interior finishes. The company also stated that it does not reinstall unsafe components. Yet I personally documented damaged and broken pillars being reused, and multiple workers told me they had objected to reusing them. Most importantly, the company has since involved its insurance carrier regarding the conditions and damages at my property. Their insurance consultant inspected my home on March 18, 2026. If the work was completed properly and there were no issues related to the project, I find it difficult to understand why an insurance claim was necessary in the first place. Since then, I have been repeatedly told to wait for the insurance process. Months have passed, no meaningful testing has been performed to determine the source of the continuing leaks, no repair plan has been provided, no leaking doors have been repaired or replaced, and the missing railings and pillars remain uninstalled. The most frustrating part is that my home is still left looking like an unfinished construction site while the company points to an ongoing insurance review as the reason for delay. I do not believe a homeowner should be expected to live with continuing damage and an incomplete project indefinitely while waiting for an insurance determination. I genuinely hoped this matter would be resolved after meetings with the company's ownership and licensing representative. Unfortunately, despite promises that things would move forward, very little has actually happened. I will continue to update this review as events unfold so that potential customers can make an informed decision.

I needed a 240V outlet installed to charge my car and reached out to several companies. Joel was the only one that was upfront with his pricing and followed up promptly. Right after I made an appointment and he was here in no time. Punctual, quick, knowledgeable and professional he took care of running the wire, installing the breaker and setting up the outlet.
