This place was great for flowers and chocolates until they gave me old tasting chocolates from Marshall's. It's their policy that if you are dissatisfied even after 48 hours come in and they will make it right. I came up here yesterday and on the door hours were from 11-4. Today at 3:39 store is closed. My husband spent just over $200, twice, for a special occasion for me. Each time the florist used orchids. They were dead on delivery, and the tips were dark and bent. Like they were left in a car overnight and the cold killed them. For $200, it's just inconceivable that the arrangement would look so shabby. I placed an order for flowers from their website. The order, plus a card, plus $20 delivery charge was about $100. What was ordered and what was received are not even close. Maybe because there was a purple colored flower in the arrangement they thought they could just get away with it. I guess the lesson is you shouldn't order flowers from a place that also wants you to buy their barbecue. I called and left a message. I thought perhaps they could discount my charge since the delivered flowers didn't come close to the quality that was ordered. No response. I read reviews after the delivery and the responses from the business were very defensive and I am sure my review won't do much to help me. A friend sent these flowers for a very important death anniversary, even though this card says it was delivered on 7/24/2018, it was just delivered today, a day late. I wonder if the business owners know/understand the significance of delivering arrangements on time because sometimes they can be for very sensitive occasions. If they couldn't be delivered on the designated day, a call should have been made or no guaranteed delivery day should be given if they knew they couldn't fulfill the job in a timely fashion. I called late morning and although a good part of their deliveries had gone out, as was explained to me that they were closing at two for Christmas Eve, they took my order. It was a little pricey, but really not out of the ordinary these days. I can't say as I remember who answered the phone, but they were cheery and kind. Granted it was in Roy and not very far away, but they could've blown me off. But, she did not and my sister sent a picture of the arrangement that was just beautiful. My order was for a cute dog floral arrangement as advertised on 1-800 Flowers. What was received looked nothing like the original product as advertised and in fact, my dad thought it was just a poorly designed flower arrangement and had no idea it was a dog at all. Not only did this cost 1-800 Flowers a longtime customer, but I would never recommend any business that sends out third and fourth rate products to their clients. What you present to your customer speaks volumes as to the kind of business you are. The arrangement you delivered told me that you didn't care about the quality...period. What a disappointment and what a waste of $89. It ruined a special surprise for my step dad as the dog looked like their Maltese in the advertised photo. But what was delivered was a monstrosity. Ordered flowers for Celebration of Life service. Thing is, we didn't get the what we ordered. First call was that they didn't have any white gladiolas, could substitute red & we said ok because wanted to keep length & Magnificence of the spray; next day got 2nd call that we couldn't get the stand, had to be basket because of watering needs of a Sunday service, so this changed the height & presence of the "Spray", making them sort of like "ceremony flowers"; 3rd call news was that we can't have the ribbon with his siblings names because ribbon maker didn't work so couldn't supply. Now the flowers are officially "ceremony" flowers, not special. Yelm Floral did offer to take off charge for ribbon & 1/2 of delivery charge ($12) or cancel & order elsewhere. This info came on late Friday via email with service on Sunday. The remaining siblings (aged mid to late 70s) viewed the service from out of state. Our flowers were set next to urn & his daughter made the banner for us & saved the day. Also, two other family members that ordered flowers here did not get what they thought they ordered. Would suggest if you have an important occasion, order from another florist. She could have explained in advance. We were deeply disappointed. read more

I live out of state and was trying to send flowers to my mom who lives in a gated community. Most others said they couldn't help me because they couldn't deliver there and I was so frustrated. Then I found Yelm Floral and they were not only able to do the delivery but were very friendly and efficient. They delivered the flowers the same day and my mother was delighted with them and said they were lovely. What you get vs. what is shown in their online bouquets is a JOKE. I was sending my mom some flowers in the hospital - what she got was less than half the size of what I ordered - SO embarrassing. Nor was there a polka dot sash on the base of the bouquet - nor did the base look like what was pictured. When I called to give feedback - the owner just said she can't control the size of the flowers she is sent. I said well - if the size of the flowers you are sent is smaller than what is pictured then maybe you should add more flowers to make up for it... she said she used the amount of flowers the bouquet called for and has no control over the size of the flowers. I requested a partial refund - she refused and offered to make the bouquet over. So insulting. Why would I want her to make a crappy bouquet over again with her same "small" flowers? The daisies shown online are nice and big and full - the daisies my mom got were about the size of a 50 cent piece. So disappointing as daisies are my mom's favorite flowers so I wanted her to have a nice big splash of them to cheer her up in the hospital. In the picture of my bouquet there were 15 roses also shown just on the front of the bouquet. the bouquet came with only 5 and they were tiny even smaller than the daisies. Complete waste of money - will never order flowers from a floral shop again if this is how they operate. I'd rather go to Costco and get a real bouquet. Small businesses complain about getting eaten up by the big companies - well - Yelm Floral - this is why you've lost my business and that of anyone I know - I'll be sharing this story with friends and family. read more

Every part of this transaction was a delightful experience. The woman who took my order was cordial and very accommodating with my many questions. There was a prompt email confirming the placement of my order, plus an email confirming delivery. The bouquet was beautiful, tasteful and creative. Never do an online order with this business! They overcharged, the arrangement looked nothing like the online pictures, and customer service was very poor to say the least. Just moved to yelm in june. I love the small town feel of yelm and was excited to find yelm floral. The outside of the shop was beautifully decorated. And inside had a wonderful assortment of gifts and flowers. I didn't see a flower arrangement that I liked in their premade grab and go cooler. And the staff was more than happy to make me a fresh arrangement with exactly what I wanted on it! It was wonderful. Will definitely come again and recommend to everyone! read more

I spent $175 on an arrangement for my wife for our anniversary. I was told they were going to give her a "WOW" effect when she saw it. I wanted something big, lots of flowers and a crystal vase. What she received was a large arrangement of green leaves and fillers with less than 24 flowers in it. I called and complained. Their fix was to go pick up the original and leave a cluster of cheap carnations and random flowers in a cheap glass vase. I once again called and complained. Not only did they not fulfill the contract but they had the nerve to humiliate my wife by taking back an arrangement and leaving something a preschooler could put together. They refunded half of the money. So for $87 my wife received an arrangement of garbage and embarrassed on our anniversary. Don't waste your money! read more

Flowers have always been fresh, beautifully arranged, reasonably priced, and delivered on time. I ordered my sister an arrangement directly off their website. When my sister sent me a picture of what she receieved, it looked NOTHING like the arrangement I picked online and they didn't deliver the balloon I ordered either. I understand that I agree to them subsituting to something similiar if they don't have the arrangement I pick, but it was their personal website and I would expect if it's on their website they would be able to make it look somewhat similiar. Lots of green filler and less flowers. Then, when I called about the $5.00 balloon, the lady was really short and rude about it. They did credit me for the balloon but it was the way they handled it. My Grandma sent me flowers for my birthday from Germany, i am sure that is not what she had in mind. Bouquet is supersmall, i would not even call it a bouquet. Flowers are ok, but not arranged very well either. Went there to ask if thats what got ordered, and i got told, because valentinesday is around the corner, flowers are expensive, so thats as good as it gets, and the order did not give them a specific picture to work with. My mom and dad have told me the arrangements are beautiful and delivered on the days I had selected. I'm glad to know that my mom is receiving beautiful flowers and I can support a local business! On my most recent order, Shelby called me to let me know that they didn't have the pitcher for the arrangement I had ordered. Shelby offered me two or three options as a substitution. Because i read the reviews posted and saw 2 five star reviews from people who frequent this business NOT posted on the main page and the other 2 not posted but readable if you click on other reviews not currently recommended (which i have to wonder why that is since two of the three were 5 stars and very clear, sincere, and accountable...) so , i felt compelled to write something. I have received only top quality customer service and flower bouquets from this business and the prices were equal or very close/comparable to any other local business that sold flowers. They did explain that in Feb costs go way up EVERYWHERE (even in the local supermarkets...which cost about the same or the same as this business) and they do go up that time of year i noticed...everywhere else as well, due to Valentine's day. They always took extra time and attention to give me more than was expected to make a bouquet look most beautiful and even as though i had paid a lot more for it, by asking me if i would like certain trimmings and arrangements to make it even nicer and would tell me what they would do without extra charge. Those who received the bouquets would be touched and tell me how beautiful they were and asked where i got them from. Now i am not affiliated with this business and i don't know the people personally, but i do think they are good to their customers and it worth supporting them as a local business and that most people would be thrilled at what they get for their money and for the kind of consideration they are giving regardless of what they spend, as i always was shown and treated with the upmost consideration, whether getting one rose or a large bouquet...or anything in between. I hope this gets posted or i will have to wonder about this site as a source of reliable information. read more
