But I am retired and I no longer turn wrenches. Recently my car had had a P0303 code which means the number three cylinder was misfiring. I took it to Savannah car Care. They ran a diagnostic and quoted me $1,000 for the replacement of 8 spark plugs and wires on My 2013 Chevy suburban 5.3 motor. They called me on the phone and I thought it was a joke. But it wasn't! I had the spark plugs and wires replaced in my car 26,000 miles ago for $378. Now Savannah car Care is telling me that I have to spend $1,000 to replace one bad spark plug cable that has gone bad since the last replacement of all 8 plugs. I asked them if they could just replaced the one bad cable and plug. They said NO - that all the spark plugs and cables were bad. Well, to make long story short. I am traveling the country and I needed my SUV, so I said go ahead and do it. Because I complained about the price. They lowered the cost of $906. I've been going to Savannah car Care for about 4 years now. Initially, when I started going there they were great. The manager that I used to deal with left and things have gone downhill. At that time, I had Car Shield warranty and Savannah car Care bad mouth that company to death. Now there are sponsors of that company. Make a pack with the Devil - money talks! Savannah car Care it's no longer the company I used to recommend. They have sold out and now they WAY overprice their services. It's a shame! I will not be back. THEY RIPPED ME OFF BIG TIME! $906 for changing eight spark plugs and wires. SHAME ON YOU! Savannah car Care!

I refused the strut work and approved the sway bar work for around $420. They told me noise was still there even though I had sway bars replaced. A few days later my wife almost gets into a accident. Her ball joint and control arm ripped off the car and pulled out the Drive axle and transmission seal. Had to pay another shop $175 for towing and have to the items above replaced for another $1260. Not only did Hometown replace the motor, they added fuel injection and air conditioning systems along with working on the brakes and cooling syste. The car runs like new. They diagnosed me needing wheel bearing on the front of my 2014 Corolla on BOTH sides and needing to replace both my control arms. This would have costed me almost $3000. I called Robert and Auto Doctors and asked how much for all the work and I was quoted about half the cost. Once the car was at Auto Doctors, they did a diagnostic and said that all I neded was one wheel hub. So rather than spending $3000 on parts and labor from an over-inflated price gouger, I spent less than $500 on a GREAT SHOP. Jason the owner and Robert his service writer are awesome.
