10 years ago I was looking for a new dentist after a very traumatic experience. I was looking for recommendations and a top dentist in New York (family friend) recommended Dr Yessayantz and even went so far as to say if she needed to see a dentist in LA, it would be him! Apparently they were in the same class and he was a top student. I have been his loyal patient ever since. He and his friendly and knowledgable staff and hygienists have helped me get over extreme anxiety I had from my prior dentist. Dr Yessayantz is a truly good human being. His advice is not overly aggressive and very thoughtful. We moved away from Burbank about 10 years ago and still drive an hour to come here. The best Dentist I've had in my life, and great for my kids too. We never feel guilty or pressured, everyone on staff is kind, there is always 80's music playing in the background, and it really takes the edge off when you need anything other than a basic cleaning done. I also love that the staff is super mindful of the insurance system, and makes practical and pragmatic plans for your dental health and wallet. I will fully admit that the facility is not state of the art, but after going to more modern Dentist offices and having poor experiences, the quality and professionalism of the staff is what matters, and Yessayantz wins hands down. This dentist uses old antique equipment in his office and the xray machine is from 1970's and can't diagnose tooth problems. Had to get a tooth implant after my tooth was cracked because he did 2root canals on it and my tooth had to be extracted to get an implant. read more

I am in between insurance companies and don't have coverage at this time but Dr Yessanyantz was still able to see me. I expected to pay a lot of money for the repair since it was out of pocket but that wasn't the case. He was able to work with me and gave me a VERY reasonable price.
