My encounter with Emma the front desk receptionist was just the sweetest and so warm and welcoming! The dental assistant Taguhi was also extremely kind and would help get my kind of the fact that I was even at a dentist office! Hands down THE BEST dentist -- if not doctor of ANY kind -- I have ever been to in my life. Literally, if you have any dental needs, RUN don't walk to him for treatment. I call Dr. H my dental savior. I came to him in bad shape and totally defeated about what to do about my teeth. I needed major dental work done and many crowns, and Dr. H was my fourth consultation. The doctor before him quoted me $32,000 and by the time I got to Dr. H's office I was in tears. I have a complicated lifelong phobia involving the back of my mouth, and I can't do xrays back there or any of the bite plates you typically need for crowns without being put under anesthesia, which is an extremely expensive additional cost. Dr. H was the one doctor willing to work with me with the xrays we could get, and because of his whole laser scanner 3D printing technology, he could do all of the crowns without any bite plates (and the crowns print during your visit, so you can complete the whole crown in one visit). I saw Dr. H every week for 2 months, and by the end we had done 8 crowns, and 11 cavities. And all for a fraction of what the dentist before him quoted me. He literally restored my whole mouth, and did so in the kindest, gentlest, and most caring way imaginable. I am a mess at the dentist in terms of fear, and he was absolutely wonderful with me. He is meticulous as a dentist but also the most patient and caring and funny and good-natured practitioner I have ever been to. All the assistants in the office are wonderful too, and he treats them with a lot of love and respect (and they seem to love working with him), and by the end we were like this little joyful family all working on my terrible teeth. I really cannot recommend Dr. H more. He was a godsend, and I have already sent 6 friends to him who all feel the same way. He legit makes you feel like you are his ONLY patient in the world, even though he has a very busy practice. And somehow you can always get them on the phone or get an appointment when you need one. The office is lovely and relaxing too. Dr. H literally loves teeth and dentistry and this man was made to be a dentist. At the end of my treatment I even had a trophy made for him (see photo!) because he was such a hero to my disaster teeth. He is an absolutely fantastic doctor who I owe so much to, and I could not recommend him more. A+! read more

The best! I came to Stepan by recommended of my best friend whose entire family he takes care of. I myself had a bunch of emergencies and unfinished business for him to deal with. My experience with him now includes an emergency wisdom toother extraction, an implant(!) and two crowns. The office has just been fully remodeled - feels like a nice spa - and re-equipped with latest tech - crowns can be 3D printed on-the-day etc.. Stepan is lovely and so is his staff. Scheduling and communication are a breeze. Somehow he always makes himself available (came in on a Sunday when I broke a tooth!). And even parking is free and easy at his central Glendale location. And yes, he takes insurance and works well with them so even that part isn't as painful as with others. I am glad he's young and I don't have to worry about him retiring on me any time soon ;-) read more

I have been going to Dr. Harutyunyan for about a year and a half, once my dentist retired. He is a very unusual dentist in that he is consistently working to be at the top of his field. He remains curious and committed to the advancement of dentistry that will enable his patients to have a better life. He really thrives on seeing his patients happy. He is caring, attentive, a perfectionist, and he listens to what goals I want to achieve. I have had a bridge replaced, some veneers for cosmetic reasons, cleanings, and cavities filled. Everything (I mean everything) is done right in his office. Same day! No more waiting for the bridge to come back after 2 weeks. I go out for coffee for 2 hours and I come back and it's ready to put in my mouth! He has a 3-D printer that prints porcelain. That's another things. He LOVES technology and gadgets. So he has a big screen at each dental chair that he shows you exactly what's going on with your teeth and how he suggests you proceed. For one thing I did, it was really expensive, and he approved for me to pay it through a dental program that lets you reduce it to monthly payments. That was so helpful. I got to have a beautiful smile for my son's wedding and I have a year with no interest to get it paid off. His office is fantastic. It is right in the middle of Glendale so lots of options to shop or eat. He just totally redid everything. Filled with light. Very minimalist. I highly recommend him and his dental work.
