This is one of my favorite Yeti stores and it's at Santana row. There's a wide selection of items and colors. There are even early access items that you can't get online or other retailers. The staff is super nice and so helpful. I appreciate how knowledgeable everyone is and they always want to pass along knowledge of the product. We prefer to buy items in store if we can. There's even customization engraving that can be done same day when it takes 1-2 weeks from the website. read more

I love Yeti products and have been eyeing the YETI Crossroads backpack for a while now to replace my falling-apart aging backpack. I went in the day after Black Friday and bought it, and the service was excellent. The gentleman helping out was very kind and informative about new products and the backpack. Initially, they didn't have the black color on display, but he looked in the back, and the backpack was unsealed and recently got shipped in! It was a very smooth transaction, and we paid via a portable card reader. This store has all the Yeti products you need in every color. They even have customizable stations for specific products. P.S. I highly recommend their Crossroads backpack; it has so much space to fit clothes for a small weekend trip and your Yeti water bottle. I've come to this location a couple times now and I always leave happy. I was in and out today within 15 minutes. I was on a hunt to find a travel coffee tumbler. I left with 2 hehe! They always have a great variety. What I always look forward to is their selection for Bay Area teams! The first time they had Sharks and Giants items. This time they had Warriors and 49ers! The employee, Josh, was so helpful and patient with me. I highly recommend this location!! read more

I've had my eyes set on the Roadie 24 for quite some time but never pulled the trigger because I keep waiting for it to go on sale. I really like the tan color but was also open to other colors too. We already own a Tundra 45 but wanted something smaller for weekend grocery runs. I personally love Yeti items because they are durable with great insulation to keep your ice to last longer compared to regular coolers, which is why they are high in cost. I finally decided to stop by this location to take a look once last time. I love how huge the store is and all the different items that they sell. From water bottles, to backpacks, to coolers, they have everything that you need to keep your food/drinks cold. The employee that helped us was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up pulling the trigger and got the Roadie 24 in Wild Vine Red! They also had a promo that if you purchased this specific roadie, you can get 2 free 34 oz Yonder Bottles. It all started with a YETI thermos. Then a YETI lunch box cooler, and I was hooked. Happy to see so many YETI items in one place here and all the different colors. I typically order their products online, but it's nice to actually touch and feel their products before purchasing. YETI is known for their high quality materials in their products. I want a YETI cooler, which supposedly keeps ice for something like over a week. And those cool colors too! The one downside about their products is that they tend to be heavier and bulkier compared to similar products. That's due to the much higher quality materials used, but it can be an issue nonetheless. Speaking of quality and durability, they have a cooler on display that a bear tried unsuccessfully to tear into. I must say, that IS impressive! In terms of value, it's not inexpensive. Sure, a styrofoam cooler technically works too. But you get what you pay for. If anyone wants to buy me a Christmas gift, anything from YETI would be great! lol read more

Every time I come in here no one says hi or offers assistance. I wanted to buy one thing for myself since my other items easily collect mold. I went to ask a team member twice and both times someone else jumped in and got their questions answered first then the team member just walked away. Didnt' realize the Amazon book store closed down some time go so decided to pay a visit. I am not exactly a fan of Yeti products, I have only seen them around and it seems to be a very reliable brand. I am aware every single product here is built to last a long time and keep your stuff cold for who knows how long. The interior is nice and trendy so you can't say anything bad about that. My issue is..the prices...they are really selling single hats/caps for 30 dollars each??? That's a mind twister, YETI's prices for all of their products are very high. Maybe there is a need for this kind of higher quality productline, however there are a lot of alternative product choices besides YETI that still get the job done. I was stoked that the Bay Area had a YETI store. I've been a fan of the products for years. I wasn't aware of the grand opening till I got an email from Santana Row about upcoming events. As you enter, the first things you see are the coolers. Different sizes and colors. They had a couple of coolers filled with beverages, but I wasn't sure if those were free for customers so I didn't grab anything. Further in the back are the mugs and tumblers. I have a couple of mugs, but always wanted to get a tumbler that can fit in a car cup holder. So in a future visit, I plan to grab one. I was told they came out with 2 new colors - a lilac purple and a light teal blue. In the middle of the store are the backpacks, duffle bags and packing cubes. I bought their Crossover 22 backpack. I wanted a backpack for travel and work and this was the right size. The most expensive backpack I bought , but the backpacks come with a 3-year warranty and the material is solid and sturdy. I'm confident the backpack will last long. Positive experience overall. Staff were super nice and very knowledgeable about the products. There are no cash registers, so finding where to pay can be confusing. There is a table in the back in front of the mugs/tumblers where you can pay for your items. read more

For Father's Day I thought it would be fun to go to this store with my daughter and get *her* a "fancy water bottle". We got her an orange Rambler and she was really excited. It was certainly more expensive than any other water bottle she's had, but we thought it would be special. When we took it home we quickly realized it was a bad decision. The amount of suction needed to get water out was insane, and FYI, if you're getting a bottle for someone on the smaller side, take note that these bottles get heavy. We went the very next weekend to exchange it for something MORE EXPENSIVE. I figured, well, if she's going to have a hard time drinking from it and carrying it, perhaps she's not ready for a Yeti. I knew I couldn't return it because I used it (they have a poor return policy) but the way the receipt is laid out, it'd seem I had 60 days to exchange the product. Plot twist: You have 60 days to exchange the product if it hasn't been used. They don't consider needing a lot of force to drink water from a bottle to be defective so they won't do a return or an exchange, but, paraphrasing "call headquarters and maybe they can send us a message giving you a 1 time exchange" CS Comm 1: Virtual chat - person immediately left mid-chat with an auto-response saying someone would get back to me CS Comm 2: Someone got back to me via email to get photos of product CS Comm 3: Someone called me and we talked for quite some time. They understood where I was coming from and said someone would call me the next day to help with the exchange CS Comm 4: Someone emailed me (didn't call me) saying they couldn't help but to send photos (again???) Even employees inside this store will tell you they have terrible CS policies. I just can't believe that in 2024 there is a store that sells water bottles and won't do returns on defective products, or exchanges where a customer wants to pay *more*. Now I have a $40 rambler I'll never use because the suction is crap - literally goes against the idea of hydrating. Will stick to Hydroflasks, Simple Moderns, Theraflasks, and literally any other high reviewed bottle on Amazon over this "premium product". read more

These products would likely hold up well to the rigors of camping, beach parties, monsoons in some tropical jungle where pandas roam, or crazed adult toddlers. I bought a "customized" 49ers Yeti cooler... this was NOT customized by me, mind you, it was sold this way on their website. Turns out, it is not returnable, and they will not make an exception. NOWHERE does it say it is not returnable on the webpage on which I purchased it. I will not be buying Yeti again. 100% deceptive practice on this "customized" item. What a joke read more

I stopped by a few weeks ago to see if I could special order a laser etched yeti bottle. I was greeted by Sophia! She told me that this service wasn't offered in store as of yet. She offered to show me her yeti bottle that she created online as an example and told me I could do this on their website. I asked if she had time to help me since I brought my artwork I wanted to put on my bottle. She was more than happy to help me We took pics of the images I wanted while she still helped and greeted customers walking into the store. I waited patiently as she helped others. I showed my pictures and she helped me crop them to fit my bottle and walked me through the entire process. In the end I purchased my bottle online with her help and my bottle will arrive tomorrow. I'll be bringing it by the store to show her once it's delivered. Sophia really showed excellent customer service and cared about making my bottle perfect for me!! Thank you Sophia!! read more

First off--I am a BIG Yeti fan and have far too many Yeti products--they are built to last just as their slogan states. However this new Yeti store in the fancy Santana Row outdoor walking mall is a letdown. It is a cool modern store with a decent amount of products around. Yet I unfortunately can NOT reasonably recommend people to visit this retail store (unless your bored and want to check it out as I did) because of the following: 1. They can NOT order products for you that are not in stock in the store. "Huh???" was my reaction when the store reps told me this. Isn't this a retail store for customers to buy Yeti stuff from ? 2. They could not use my Yeti Gift Card to buy anything in the store! "Huh???" was my second reaction when they told me this. The Yeti retail store reps told me that "this is really just a product show room and they can't help place alot of orders." Makes me ask a "dumb question:" why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars opening a fancy pants retail store to customers, but not be able to ACTUALLY sell most products to customers? What kind of "not-smart" business model is this??? Trust me, there is a much bigger selection at the Ace Hardware store in Menlo Park than this Yeti only store in Santana Row. read more

Although they were not rude to me, I noticed they were completely ignoring certain types of people coming into the store. I wanted to share my experience in this store. Bought my 36 oz bottle with a chug cap 10 days ago. But unfortunately the top layer cap thread broke. So, I went back to the store for exchange thinking they will replace for a new cap. But needless to say their exchange and return policy have to be online which makes me irritated, bec the last time we bought Yeti products from the non-Yeti store they exchanged without hesitation. The store manager that happened to greet me, was rude and unhelpful lacking customer service. She sounded very bothered by my issue. I was very disappointed at the time, since most places they will take the product and exchange. My frustration is the way she handled my concerns which she reiterated couple of times that there's nothing she can do. My point is I am a paying customer and they should have a better customer service policy to make us happy. But she's not, she threatened me, she should not be a store manager if that's how she handled, customer service is out of the window, sad to say. read more
