Went to yetis for Sunday night football The vibes were great fun atmosphere, good energy, and a cool place to hang out. Many beer and mixed drink options but Unfortunately, the food really missed the mark. I ordered chicken tenders and fries, and both were disappointing. The chicken tenders were very dry and lacked flavor, definitely not what I was expecting. I'd give them a 2/5 at best. What really upset me was the fries. I paid an extra $2 to upgrade to the garlic Yeti fries, but they came out as plain fries. I asked for it to be fixed, and when they brought them back, it was just Parmesan sprinkled on top no garlic at all. If I'm paying extra, I expect it to be made correctly. Customer service was just okay. Staff was polite, but when my order was wrong and I asked for it to be fixed, it still came back incorrect. Not much effort to make it right, especially after paying extra for an upgrade.

I drive by this place a lot and finally had a chance to stop by. We came to watch the Warriors game. The good - there are so many TVs, staff is super friendly, they have a pool table, and later after the game we enjoyed karaoke. No one was there after the game so we tested out our singing skills. Big bar and a lot of space indoors including a couple of couches. The Ok - the mixed drinks and tap beer were not so good. My friends ordered the same beer and it looked different. One was cloudy and the other not and it tasted different. The cocktails didn't quite test right, maybe the mixer? Not sure. Anyways, I'd stick to canned drinks and beer. The food was ok - we had momos, wings and tater tots.

Yeti is a great place for a good hang. Football and hoops watching are really fun here because of the plentiful screens, good taps and cool bartender. When the Warriors are in playoff mode, I especially appreciate this spot with so much seating and good fans. The W's didn't make it last year. But it's still a good hangout for all playoff action. The menu has the coolest kind of split personality. Half Himalayan restaurant, half sports bar menu. Momos are the best thing I've found. The wings are my #2. Plus, the fish and chips ($14) and the burgers are better than most you'll find at a sports bar. With the new mega beer wall flowing, Yeti now has 40 taps with an incredible selection of IPAs and lagers, pilsners, blonde/golden ales, a bunch of lagers and three wheat beers even ($9). Local IPAs from all your favorites. Drake's and East Brother are well represented on the menu. The Denogginizer is my go-to brew. The Fort Point Kolsch is so good. They even have a Kona from Hawaii and the Spaten Dunkle from Munich! Modelo and Trumer Pilsner are solid options and the tequila and whiskey collections are surprisingly impressive. The owner is a really cool guy. So are most of the fans I've chatted with at the bar. Berkeley and Oakland seem to blend well at this DMZ spot.

Great view of bar and drinks

Amazing service!! The bartenders are amazing and the food is great love coming here. I'm a local and a regular.

Date: 6/18/2023 Time: 4:15 PM 70° Sunny My girlfriend and I are at the Berkeley Juneteenth celebration on Adeline Street, about two blocks from the Ashby BART station. We got hungry and were looking for some place to dine. We didn't want food from the street vendors. We happened to see Yeti's, which used to be a Bank if America branch many years ago. The service was slow, as there were only the bartender and a bus boy serving the customers. I told my girlfriend I was hangry...just kidding being angry and hungry. Perusing the menu, we decided on their classic charbroiled cheeseburger with yeti fries. That cheeseburger hit the spot. I must say it had everything thing I wanted in a cheeseburger - slaw, thick burger patty, melted cheese, tomatoes, sliced dill pickles and mayo. The yeti fries were amazing. Well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. Since they did not have an Arnie Palmer, I ordered a lemonade. However, I found it a bit strange that they had Long Island iced tea on the menu as a cocktail. Wherever I go for lunch or dinner, I always order an Arnie Palmer. My theory is if the "Arnie" is good, then the food is tasty and delicious. As mentioned above, that cheeseburger was bomb-diggity good. So good that if I'm in that part of the 'hood, I would get that classic with the fries again, and a side of onion rings. I believe I saw that they have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday; 5 PM to 7 PM, Sunday. There was no happy hour today. They closed at 5:15 PM. Bar area, four flatscreen TV's mounted on wall and two pool tables are quite nice. Ambience is comfy and casual. Great place to hang out with friends.

Stopped in here on a solo dolo since my kids had an event they were at and my hubby was bussy so it left me with nothing to do and I needed to stick around the area until my kids got done with their event #momuber I've herd good things about this place so I decided to me for a few minutes It was a quiet Friday night here today. Sat at the bar. The bar tender helped me right away. Ordered me some mozzarella sticks and a house margarita. The margarita was so refreshing you can definitely taste the freshness and my mozzarella sticks were crispy hot and gooey in all the right places Glad I stopped in on my brief excursion with myself

1 hr, no food. only sports bar to not be prepared or staffed for a playoff game featuring the local team. after 1 1/2 hrs we received raw/undercooked chicken tenders. actually do not come here. discriminates by age. $33 pitchers is absurd. without cash you will not receive service. how do i put less than one star?

Jupiter's been a Berkeley staple for 30 years and it's easy to see why. The two-level beer garden with the firepit and string lights is the whole vibe, and the church-pew-and-tin interior (it's an old livery stable) gives it character you can't fake. Came on a busy night, which is Jupiter's default state, and the service was still great. Ordered a personal pizza. Their wood-fired stuff is solid, not life-changing, but exactly what you want next to a house brew. Decent food, great beer, unbeatable atmosphere. It's a two-second walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART, so there's really no excuse. Student, alum, or just passing through, post up in the beer garden and stay a while. I'm sure it's more of a nighttime experience. Firstly, I took advantage of the speakeasy beer option, which is hidden in the back of the bar. It's self serve with a nice selection. You're given a card that allows you to pour what you want. For food, I did a shrimp and a lamb, yes, I said lamb, taco. Both were great. The lamb was surprisingly great as a taco meat. Very rich and tender with warm, Indian type spices. I finished it off with a Pimm's cocktail from their happy hour menu made with a ginger syrup. Delicious. The bartender/server, Christine, was excellent. She really made me feel comfortable here. As I said, I feel like this is more of a nighttime place, and my review is for afternoon.

They have a variety of different beer flavors available through dispensers where you simply tap your card and pour as much or as little as you'd like while keeping track of the total $$. Our group shared one card and asked for four cups so everyone could sample different beers, which made it a really fun tasting experience. It's a great way to try multiple options without committing to a full pint of something you're unsure about. For food, we ordered the pizza, chicken tikka masala, naan, and tamarind chili black ribs. The ribs in particular had a nice balance of sweet and tangy flavors. However, the portions felt small for the price point, which was the biggest drawback of the meal. While the food was good, it didn't quite match the value of the drinks and atmosphere. Tap in lounge is a solid place to grab drinks and hang with friends. Just be prepared for food portions that are a bit smaller than expected for what you're paying.

Attached is a concert hall that has some pretty interesting live music acts and very diverse from hip hop to jazz to funk to rock and roll and that dark sider stuff, heavy metal, etc. They rent the whole joint out if you have a party or they rent sections as well. Great spot for wedding rehearsal dinners, high school reunions, company parties, etc. Stimulating conversation abounds and a lot of laughter bouncing off the walls. A great place to see sporting events, especially the Warriors. Very nice patio as well with big umbrellas and fire pit. I went to see the visual kei, Japanese rock band, JILUKA, here with my boyfriend and we lined up beforehand for VIP. The staff walked out, showed us the rules for the VIP that was printed on a piece of paper and explained it to us too, they walked down the line to scan us in as well. Venue itself is pretty neat. The front part is a bar area with lots of tables and seating and outdoor seating as well. Since it was before the concert, we were able to enjoy some food and drinks from the bar and kitchen. It was also during their Happy Hour too which was great. My boyfriend got a drink (not sure what it was, but it was refreshing and citrus tasting?) and we shared a Bavarian soft pretzel with mustard and we got the white cheddar dipping sauce added on for a nominal fee. One of the best pretzels that I've ever had! Deliciously soft interior, nice chew to the texture of the exterior. Comes out hot, warm and delicious. Great on it's own, but great with the sauces too. Perfect dash of the coarse salts on it. I'd get this again for sure and would like to one day order more from their menu. The live house music area is in the back in a separate room. Restrooms were clean too. Enough space for the bands to sell their merch and do a meet and greet. Wasn't a huge venue and insane turn out, but it fit the crowd and I liked how intimate setting was. I was around 3-4 rows from the front and even with a mosh pit and wall of death, I was able to shift around and see the band more clearly. Easy visibility no matter where I was shifted around. Lighting was pretty good and made it easy to take pictures and video. I think the vocals were a bit more muffled than the rest of the band members playing, but that might just be the set up more than anything. Of all the venues I stopped by for the week, this had the most approachable and friendly staff. Greeted going and as we were leaving too. I didn't overheat at this one either, so the AC was A+!! There's paid parking nearby but if you read the signs and go around, you can get free street parking too. Bring more J-rock/over seas acts here, it was so good!
