    Long Island Iced Tea
    Camela S.

We've driven by this restaurant a few times and finally decided to try it. Upon entering the restaurant my initial thought was, "It's warm in here." But it seemed tolerable so we sat ourselves at a table and began looking at the menu. After about 5 minutes a waiter came over and asked if we would like to sit at a different table that had less sunlight and we wouldn't be as hot, so we moved tables. At this point I realized there were no fans turned on and no air conditioning. We ordered a long island iced tea, chicken tenders +fries, and a diet coke. The tenders were overcooked, the fries were undercooked, the diet coke was flat BUT the long island iced tea was perfect. In fact, it was so good I ordered a second but the second one had a dead bug in it . When the food was brought out, we didn't have ketchup, napkins or utensils, but our waiter (possibly the owner) brought all 3 without me asking. On the down side he didn't check on our drinks for over 30 minutes and it wasn't busy. When we did order another round of drinks we learned that soft drink refills were not free and there was a $5 charge for each. It's a sports bar and the atmosphere is loud, on this day there was one extremely loud group of college guys cheering and high-fiving. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We were at Yeti's Saturday night. There was a really good band playing called Alchemy. It was great music for dancing and just having fun. The singer was funny and he can really blow! The band was tight and all-in-all it was a very good time for me and my girlfriend. We will definitely go back on September 12 when they play there again! The food was good and folks were ready to party as soon as the music started.

I drive by this place a lot and finally had a chance to stop by. We came to watch the Warriors game. The good - there are so many TVs, staff is super friendly, they have a pool table, and later after the game we enjoyed karaoke. No one was there after the game so we tested out our singing skills. Big bar and a lot of space indoors including a couple of couches. The Ok - the mixed drinks and tap beer were not so good. My friends ordered the same beer and it looked different. One was cloudy and the other not and it tasted different. The cocktails didn't quite test right, maybe the mixer? Not sure. Anyways, I'd stick to canned drinks and beer. The food was ok - we had momos, wings and tater tots.

Yeti is a great place for a good hang. Football and hoops watching are really fun here because of the plentiful screens, good taps and cool bartender. When the Warriors are in playoff mode, I especially appreciate this spot with so much seating and good fans. The W's didn't make it last year. But it's still a good hangout for all playoff action. The menu has the coolest kind of split personality. Half Himalayan restaurant, half sports bar menu. Momos are the best thing I've found. The wings are my #2. Plus, the fish and chips ($14) and the burgers are better than most you'll find at a sports bar. With the new mega beer wall flowing, Yeti now has 40 taps with an incredible selection of IPAs and lagers, pilsners, blonde/golden ales, a bunch of lagers and three wheat beers even ($9). Local IPAs from all your favorites. Drake's and East Brother are well represented on the menu. The Denogginizer is my go-to brew. The Fort Point Kolsch is so good. They even have a Kona from Hawaii and the Spaten Dunkle from Munich! Modelo and Trumer Pilsner are solid options and the tequila and whiskey collections are surprisingly impressive. The owner is a really cool guy. So are most of the fans I've chatted with at the bar. Berkeley and Oakland seem to blend well at this DMZ spot.

Date: 6/18/2023 Time: 4:15 PM 70° Sunny My girlfriend and I are at the Berkeley Juneteenth celebration on Adeline Street, about two blocks from the Ashby BART station. We got hungry and were looking for some place to dine. We didn't want food from the street vendors. We happened to see Yeti's, which used to be a Bank if America branch many years ago. The service was slow, as there were only the bartender and a bus boy serving the customers. I told my girlfriend I was hangry...just kidding being angry and hungry. Perusing the menu, we decided on their classic charbroiled cheeseburger with yeti fries. That cheeseburger hit the spot. I must say it had everything thing I wanted in a cheeseburger - slaw, thick burger patty, melted cheese, tomatoes, sliced dill pickles and mayo. The yeti fries were amazing. Well-seasoned and absolutely delicious. Since they did not have an Arnie Palmer, I ordered a lemonade. However, I found it a bit strange that they had Long Island iced tea on the menu as a cocktail. Wherever I go for lunch or dinner, I always order an Arnie Palmer. My theory is if the "Arnie" is good, then the food is tasty and delicious. As mentioned above, that cheeseburger was bomb-diggity good. So good that if I'm in that part of the 'hood, I would get that classic with the fries again, and a side of onion rings. I believe I saw that they have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Saturday; 5 PM to 7 PM, Sunday. There was no happy hour today. They closed at 5:15 PM. Bar area, four flatscreen TV's mounted on wall and two pool tables are quite nice. Ambience is comfy and casual. Great place to hang out with friends.

Great view of bar and drinks

Amazing service!! The bartenders are amazing and the food is great love coming here. I'm a local and a regular.

Stopped in here on a solo dolo since my kids had an event they were at and my hubby was bussy so it left me with nothing to do and I needed to stick around the area until my kids got done with their event #momuber I've herd good things about this place so I decided to me for a few minutes It was a quiet Friday night here today. Sat at the bar. The bar tender helped me right away. Ordered me some mozzarella sticks and a house margarita. The margarita was so refreshing you can definitely taste the freshness and my mozzarella sticks were crispy hot and gooey in all the right places Glad I stopped in on my brief excursion with myself

    Chicken Tender & Fries

1 hr, no food. only sports bar to not be prepared or staffed for a playoff game featuring the local team. after 1 1/2 hrs we received raw/undercooked chicken tenders. actually do not come here. discriminates by age. $33 pitchers is absurd. without cash you will not receive service. how do i put less than one star?

For the appetizers, we got the caprese salad ($19), cheesy garlic bread ($14), chicken wings ($18), and BBQ pork riblets ($18). The caprese salad was one of my favorites. The spring mix was super fresh, and even though I'm not the biggest cheese fan, I really liked the fresh mozzarella. The vinaigrette had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors, making this a great spring or summer salad. The BBQ pork riblets and chicken wings were both a little dry. I liked the seasoning on the riblets, while the chicken wings were a bit lighter in flavor. The cheesy garlic bread was, as expected, super cheesy! I didn't realize the roasted garlic was served on the side, and personally wasn't the biggest fan of its flavor, but the focaccia itself had a great texture. We also shared the Aries ($22), Mercury ($21), and Cassiopeia ($25) pizzas. The Aries was a classic pepperoni pizza with a nice thin crust, and the Mercury was a margherita pizza. I liked the fresh tomatoes, although I wish there had been more basil. The Cassiopeia was my favorite of the three, and I can definitely see why it's so popular. The BBQ sauce was super flavorful and paired really well with the chicken and onions. Jupiter has a lively atmosphere and a really nice outdoor patio with live music, making it a fun spot for group dinners. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a larger group. Street parking is available nearby.

Interesting enough my server Katie who I ordered the food, as well as to-go boxes, asked if I wanted them to-go. Make it make sense. Poor leadership, is the reason why I will no longer patronize this location or recommend to others. After briefly overheating Katie's interactions with others while waiting for my food, it's clear she is personable, kind, and capable of doing her job. Maybe she could be a better fit for leadership here. Lastly, the newly hired hostess who claimed it was her first day, and had to call "management" over upon my entry, was too busy on her phone to even acknowledge a customer leaving. Shame Eureka!

The front part is a bar area with lots of tables and seating and outdoor seating as well. Since it was before the concert, we were able to enjoy some food and drinks from the bar and kitchen. It was also during their Happy Hour too which was great. My boyfriend got a drink (not sure what it was, but it was refreshing and citrus tasting?) and we shared a Bavarian soft pretzel with mustard and we got the white cheddar dipping sauce added on for a nominal fee. One of the best pretzels that I've ever had! Deliciously soft interior, nice chew to the texture of the exterior. Comes out hot, warm and delicious. Great on it's own, but great with the sauces too. Perfect dash of the coarse salts on it. I'd get this again for sure and would like to one day order more from their menu. The live house music area is in the back in a separate room. Restrooms were clean too. Enough space for the bands to sell their merch and do a meet and greet. Wasn't a huge venue and insane turn out, but it fit the crowd and I liked how intimate setting was. I was around 3-4 rows from the front and even with a mosh pit and wall of death, I was able to shift around and see the band more clearly. Easy visibility no matter where I was shifted around. Lighting was pretty good and made it easy to take pictures and video. I think the vocals were a bit more muffled than the rest of the band members playing, but that might just be the set up more than anything. Of all the venues I stopped by for the week, this had the most approachable and friendly staff. Greeted going and as we were leaving too. I didn't overheat at this one either, so the AC was A+!! There's paid parking nearby but if you read the signs and go around, you can get free street parking too. Bring more J-rock/over seas acts here, it was so good!
